I went to Jersey Mike's today for the first time. For the flavor I was looking for, I was able to achieve it. Their original Italian totally fit the bill! But here's my experience: I walked in. There is a gentleman with blonde hair and a cap on who welcomed me. I tell him that this is my first time ever coming to this establishment. He doesn't rush me. He allowed me to pick what I wanted. Now the next young lady who started making the sandwich was veryyyyy new. She was nervous so we'll bypass her little mistake. There's another lady by the name of Bernice who was absolutely amazing. Her attitude was upbeat. She helped me to understand the process as well. Now it's time for me to check out. There is an older lady that's tall who gave NO allowance to the fact that I was a NEW customer. She asked if my meal was to go or not, but she gave me the impression that she may have jumped the gun by wrapping the sandwich before asking the question. So I say, "whichever is easiest for you". It's obvious that there are new employees there so I tried to work with everybody. She lowers her voice and speaks to me in a stern manner. I expressed again I was new to the restaurant and did not know the process. I asked,. "Are you going to put it on a plate and give it to me if I eat here or do you wrap it up and bag it regardless I don't know your process." She explained the process. So I told her just to put it on the bag and that I would work it out . I said thank you. I asked for my cup that she forgot to give me. She says oh yeah, she passed me the cup. At this point, I wasn't gonna ask her for the lid. Then I just said," no worries. We are all new here". At THAT POINT, I knew I would never come back because of her aggressiveness. So as I'm eating my sandwich, here comes Bernice with a smile on her face who asked, " how do you like your sandwich and is everything OK for you?" THIS CHANGED EVERYTHING!!!! When she thought I was done, she came back to the table and said can I help you with anything? How was your meal? Mannnnnn, she won me over!!!! I managed a call center in banking for 7 years and stayed in management until, I retired. When I tell you Bernice totally changed my mind about everything! I will be back. The food was good!!. The lady at the register made it bad. But Bernice and the young man with the blonde hair at the bread station made my day!!!! read more

I ordered door dash but called the GM Brenda first to ask for a sweet tea rather then a bottle drink and to ask for special instructions since door dash don't offer it . unfortunately my food was made wrong and tea was not delivered,and original door dash deliverer promised to go back and pick it up as promised but failed to do so .I called and reported it, to GM Brenda not only did she made it right but she also made sure tea was also delivered and did it with such excellent service and dedication! I contacted this location because the other jersey Mike's on sawdust took my online order even though they are closed and under construction. The lady that answered was seemingly helpful at first and said she would put me on hold and contact her district manager . And then she said "actually, I have to let you go and then hung up on me." I called back and asked to speak to a manager and they said that one was not available. Not typically one to write negative reviews about places, but don't hang up on your customers . My first time ever to a Jersey Mike's. I was tasked with picking up sandwiches for everyone for dinner after slaving away in the salt mine all day. The restaurant was overall clean, unfortunately there were a lot of flies inside the restaurant, which bugged me (pun intended). The staff, although busy, greeted me immediately, they were very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Chicken Chipotle Cheesesteak, the Original Italian, hold the tomatoes and onion, on gluten free bread and a side of red wine vinegar, as my stepdaughter has gluten allergies. The staff sanitized the food prep area while making her sandwich to prevent cross contamination.. My wife ordered the Grilled Portabella Mushroom and Swiss, and I ordered the Original Italian on herbed bread with tomatoes and mayonnaise. It was surprisingly good. Are their sandwiches the best, absolutely NOT, but for a national corporate chain, they are better than all the other big chains. The order totaled over 50 dollars for four regular sandwiches. That seems ridiculous to me, it's sandwiches. To sum it up, the food was satisfactory and very overpriced. Next time we're in the mood for a sandwich, I will probably be back, but not as frequently as they would like do due their outrageous pricing. read more

My coworker recommended we give this place a try and we've been returning weekly. All of the team members are warm and welcoming which makes this location very easy to visit time and time again. When I feel like having a hot sandwich, I get the Big Kahuna. Houston has been scorching lately so I've been having the cold Turkey & Swiss. Both of those sandwiches are second to none in their own special way (add the toppings to please your pallet). There always seems to be a cool crowd of customers with high spirits. The crowd also makes it a good place to sit and enjoy your food. I normally really enjoy this Jersey Mike's and would give it a 4 or 5 stars. I have enjoyed their #17 before. It was cooked well with melted cheese and fresh bread. This time was unfortunate. Two-star service and five-star subs. I ordered the #8 and stated I wanted almost everything, but no onions. My sandwich was made by a girl who asked the manager for more turkey. He said, "how much you have left?" She held up the last piece of what she had available from behind the counter and he yelled over to another employee to open another turkey for her. She added the rest of meat without incident and handed it over to the next employee. Again I was asked what all I wanted on the sandwich. (This always irritates me...) The sub was good, but I'm not sure I'll be back anytime soon. I read after I paid for my food about the "Shore Points" card, their loyalty program. It wasn't offered to me, but was still able to get one after eating. There were six workers behind the counter; only one greeted me upon entering the restaurant. The two girls who made my sandwich were nice enough...asked if this was my first time here. Everyone else, including the manager here this evening, looked like they had no clue what they were doing. Come early if you want watermelon tea... 2.5 hrs til close and they wouldn't brew anymore. He said it would be a waste :/ It's good, too. This was my first time here. I noticed a lot of employees behind the counter but no one looking like they knew what was going on. Finally when I found out who to order from, the guy asks me what kind of bread I'd like. I asked what my options were and he just repeated the question. Finally he got it and said "white or wheat". Ok, wheat. I ordered the hot chipotle philly. It was GOOD!! I was very happy with the sandwich. After I checked out I noticed sitting on the counter the "sub club card" that no one told me about or offered me to sign up. Well that kinda sucks. With this card you can earn free subs! At the drink station I usually get un-sweet tea, but they had a watermelon tea and it was good! I was happy about the drink,. While eating I noticed two people (one being the manager) at the drink station refreshing and straightening around, I figured they would refresh the tea since it was low...but when I went back for a refill it was almost out. I asked the manager, Dallas, if I could get more tea since this just ran out, but instead he asks, "What time is it?" I repeat back, "What time is it??" he says "yea, what time is it?" I said, 6:50pm. He says then he wasn't going to make anymore tea because it will be a waste. I asked what time did they close thinking it must be in like 10 minutes. . . he says 9pm!! Ummm, ok. Sooooooo disappointed. I later asked his name (Dallas) and told him no one offered me the sub club card. He tells me that all of his cashiers are instructed to ask the people checking out to sign up for the sub club. (Funny he was standing RIGHT THERE when we checked out as he was obviously training these kids). I told him no one did. He then says, "it says right on the register screen to ask so that they don't forget". I again tell him, "well no one did." Then he tells me he goes to other locations and surprised that other cashiers still aren't asking everybody....(like his employees. . .) Finally he offers to look up my transaction to go back and add my points to a new sub club. YAY! Yes, finally information I care to hear. So I did get the card. Ugh, the whole experience here was NOT GREAT. No customer service from anyone or in the training so can't imagine it will get any better if this is the manager's attitude. BUT, the food was GREAT! Walked into the deli and was greeted with extremely loud music. I asked if they could turn the music down a little, and the employee stated that she wasn't able to. As they were making the sandwiches, another employee was cleaning behind the glass by the ingredients. Rather than spraying the towel with the glass cleaner, he sprayed the glass directly, without any of the ingredients being covered. The same employee cleaned the counter with a towel and then proceeded to make someone's sandwich, without changing his gloves. The gloves were used to clean the counter, and they were dunked into the sanitizer bucket. Luckily, he changed his gloves before he got to our sandwiches. The top of our breads (wheat and white) were switched onto the wrong sandwich, so I had to ask for new bread to put on our sandwiches. I had to scrape my bacon off the wrong bread with my fingers to put onto the correct bread. The women's restroom was also out of paper towels. Jersey Mikes needs to hire a store manager that is above the age of 21 years old and have some experience in order to keep the restaurant clean and maintained properly. Sandwich making 101 is at least to keep track of which bread is supposed to go on what sandwich. Also, when there is a line of customers, their first priority should be making the sandwiches and not completing other tasks while the guests are standing there waiting. Overall, the sandwiches were good, but not worth $10 per sandwich (for a 6 inch-with no chips or drink included). read more

First time having Jersey Mike's and it was DELICIOUS!!!!!!! I ordered on line and it was ready when I got there. Everything was correct, fresh and soooooooo good. It is on the expensive side for sandwiches but well worth it. It is the BEST sandwich I have ever had. Definitely my new favorite place for a sub.
