Swung by today for pizza. I wasn't aware it wasn't a sit in restaurant so that was a bummer but we still ordered a pizza and the employee offered to bring it out to our car which was nice. The pizza was good and freshly made.

Great pizza. My friends and I ordered a large pepperoni pizza for girls night. We were in Germantown and the pizza was there in about 20 minutes. The pizza was still a good temp, even in the cold weather!

I was greeted immediately upon arrival and didn't need to wait at all. There was an older gentleman who was quick to help us with whatever we needed. The cheesesteak was so yummy. I loved the bread. It was full of meat and cheese, but it needed more mayonnaise. I wish it had more of those delicious mushrooms and onions too. The pizza itself was also delicious. When I first saw it I was concerned about it being burnt, but it wasn't. It was nice and crispy but not bitter at all. The onions and peppers had some yummy char on them.

I love Freddy's Cannolis they have some of the best tasting Riccotta filling in town & the price at $6.50 each is a very good price compared to those restaurants which charge more. The cannoli shells outside taste good & crisp too. The wings are another story. And I am from Buffalo so I know what good, bad and MEH chicken wings taste like. Freddy's wings I would NOT order again. MAJOR MEH!!:(:( I am sure that these wings must have been flash frozen & with a breading which tastes like a slight commercial coating before these wings are flash frozen from a food supply distribution service warehouse. I wish that I had taken a better picture because most of those wings were deep fried for too long. Thus-- those cooked & finished wings were presented to me on delivery SHOWING UP that they had a BURNT over-done coating on them, AND I KNOW THIS because of the stringy quality of the chicken meat coming off of the bones, I could tell that it was not fresh chicken on those bones, and it tasted frozen because of that dried out stringy texture. My DOG would NOT even eat the chicken meat & passed on it, & he is always begging for people's table food. So those chicken wings HAD to be FLASH FROZEN. And I ordered GARLIC WINGS. I did NOT order BLACKENED wings with sauce ON the SIDE in SECONDARY FOOD SUPPLY CONTAINERS of GARLIC SAUCE!:( THAT DESCRIPTION & PICTURE ON the DOOR DASH MENU or CALLING those WINGS FRESHLY MADE GARLIC WINGS IS A MISLEADING & FALSE DESCRIPTION to ANYONE ORDERING FOOD FROM FREDDY's VIA DOOR DASH WHO WANTS WINGS MADE FRESHLY in a RESTAURANT ON DOOR DASH. I COULD HAVE JUST ORDERED WINGS from A GROCERY STORE LIKE GIANT, FOOD LION, WEISS or SAFEWAY IF THAT POOR TASTELESS BURNT QUALITY IS WHAT I WANTED & I WOULD NOT HAVE WASTED MY GOOD MONEY WHICH I NEED & I WOULD NOT HAVE PAID/SPENT OVER $20 WHICH WAS A MAJOR RIP OFF!!:(:(

Best pizza in the DMV with genuine, family-owned quality cooking and customer service. This is my literal happy place. I haven't had bolognese this perfect since Botanero closed down. Their entire menu is incredible. We're talking about melt in your mouth but stringy mozzarella and piping hot food - even with delivery!!! Freddy and his crew of gentlemen were so incredibly hospitable and sweet that not only did they accommodate a special order so I can evangelize the store to friends but they didn't even allow me to carry as a much of a single cannoli by myself. You can truly tell that they take pride in their service and quality. Don't cheat yourself out of one of the best meals ever and try their four-cheese pizza, bolognese, and lasagna.

Generous toppings that actually covered the entire surface of my small pie. It didn't really stand out to me and was comparable to other pizza joints. I would have preferred more sauce on it. Since they only do carryout or delivery perhaps it would have gotten an additional star if it was still warm when I ate it. Staff was friendly as I was acknowledged upon arrival. If dining in were an option I would return so that I could try out other menu items, but unfortunately it isn't an option.

Pizza was delicious! It was loaded with veggies, no scrimping! It had a delicious crust. I'm going to try the pasta next.

Pizza is no better than any national delivery chain or even Paisanos. Not many great pizza options in the area but Freddy's can be avoided.

The entrees were very good. The salmon had a nice char, but was moist and flavorful. If you like salmon with a sauce, you'll be disappointed. I like mine simple, and this is a well-prepared salmon. The shrimp (3 large) were good. The spinach had a nice garlic flavor and the asparagus was well prepared - not mushy. The chicken Marsala also was good. The Marsala was light (not thick) and somewhat sweet. Very good. Honestly, the bread service was pretty disappointing. Our last visit the bread was fine, but this basket was pretty dried out and almost seemed stale. The oil accompanying the bread had almost no cheese in it. Essentially, you dipped tasteless bread into oil. Really disappointing. I'm not going to reduce my overall restaurant score for this one thing (because the entrees were very good), but the bread service was not good. The service was good.

The cream tomato sauce hit the mark without being too overbearing of either. The spaghetti dish was fantastic. The olive oil, garlic, and red pepper combo hit the spot. Seems basic, but executed perfectly. I was hoping for more homemade noodles, but it was basic boxed spaghetti- or so it tasted. Both portions were extremely generous. The only thing that would elevate the dishes would be some meat like pancetta or pork as a meat and to add some texture. The meatballs offered were in marinara and wouldn't go. As the name suggests, there are specialty food items from all over Europe. While I saw some things like English teas, German cookies, and a few Greek items, it seemed like the majority of the offerings were from Eastern Europe. I think over half of the products had labels in Cyrillic alphabet with no translation on them in any fashion, so some things you just gotta know what it is or ask the staff. I saw a lot of things from Georgia and Ukraine, but I think I saw other products from that region (Russian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, etc.). The staff were very friendly, and cheerfully assisted me with some of the pastries we purchased. One had a nice balance of flaky pastry and fruit filling while the blintzes seemed a bit underwhelming. I also picked up a bottle of dessert wine and Children #1 and #2 picked out some candies that caught their eye. The inside is clean and somewhat small but easy to navigate. There is music playing (I don't know what language; I want to say Russian but in today's climate that could be a charged statement. Just want to say it positively adds to the vibe). Worth checking out, if you want to explore a product you might not otherwise be exposed to or if you want to find a specialty European item that you've been missing.
