I visited this Freebirds for lunch. I absolutely love this place. I love building my own burrito and my own taco or my own bowl; And their prices are quite affordable too. Their food is always tasty and fresh. The service is always friendly and accurate they do get busy , so sometimes there's a wait, but it's well worth it. They have a very comfortable dining room and they also have tables outside so you can go ahead and bring your dog! The atmosphere is very positive and they play good music and the dining room is always clean. They have many fountain drinks and they have both sweetened and unsweetened tea. I am a huge fan of Freebirds, but this location is incredibly inconsistent. Weekday visits are typically good, but weekends are chaotic at best. The staff seems overwhelmed, they are perpetually out of product on the line, and they don't act at all motivated to do anything about it. I went in today, Sunday 4/26, just after 2:00 PM and ordered a burrito. As I told the young man which meat I wanted, I noticed it was empty. He didn't apologize. He didn't say it will take a few minutes. He simply began laughing. Then he paused and just stared at me as if waiting for me to make a different selection. I simply said never mind and left. It took me over 30 minutes to convince someone's supervisor that I shouldn't have to pay $20.45 to have chips (no guacamole or queso because they were going to be dipped in the burritos) delivered. The one burrito we received was literally the opposite of what i ordered. Wrong everything... but correct sticker on the outside. There is a consistent difference between this location and Parmer. Parmer wins. I wish I had taken a picture but my child had already finished it. The kids meals at this location are so tiny that even a three-year-old would be hungry. I have a small six year old, who eats like a bird. He never finishes anything because he's just a small eater. He ate his avocado bean and cheese burrito in three bites and was still very hungry. I don't understand how someone could make a kids meal this small. Been awhile since we ordered anything from Freebirds. Ordered tonight and things have changed, and not for the better. The steak was small pieces, about the size of a black bean, and not a huge amount. The Freebird is no longer the same size and is now more Freebird lite size. The single cheapest ingredient, lettuce, was very sparse along with the rest of the ingredients. It tasted good, but the "More bang for your burrito" was definitely not accurate. Visited Freebirds after around 4 years. I distinctively remember the other place having a motorbike hanging off the roof and the sauce dispenser that looked like a bike handle. Maybe it was just that location or maybe they discontinued that due to Covid. This place was simple with indoor and outdoor seating. The food is as good as always. Plenty of options to choose from. Freebirds gets compared to Chipotle a lot. So here is my take. I loved the various size options Freebirds has. They have fried potatoes as toppings which are not available in Chipotle. In general there are more toppings in Freebirds. Also, they have a lot of sauce options. Freebirds is a dollar or two more than Chipotle but the quantity is also more. So the overall price is almost the same. I don't have any strong suggestions on either of them. Both are good in their own ways. read more

The employees have a I don't care attitude and they rush you and interrupt you and talk too fast can't even tell what they're asking me what I want. It said kids eat free on the door but then they rang it up as charged. The guy was annoyed he had to remove it. And the worst part is they didn't cook the steak AT ALL it was RAW. They weren't kidding when they said monster size burrito. If I had to guess, I would say it's about 12 inches long and 6 inches thick. Perfect size. This was my first time at Freebirds. I got the Carnitas Freebird Burrito in monster size and the flavor was decent. It wasn't as seasoned as I was hoping for. The meat and the vegetables were pretty bland. Mainly want to give a huge shoutout to the shift lead or manager named John, young fellow with the glasses. Very respectful very quick paced when he took me and my son's order at that! He even was able to handle a quick situation that unfolded as he was ringing me up and it's those types of people, who deserve recognition. Our service workers do so much to provide the delicious fast food service we come seeking, so thank you John for knowing how to handle your team, deliver excellent customer service, all while serving hot fresh yummy food. 10/10, rare occasion when you have someone like that on the clock. I wish I had a better experience for my first time with freebirds. Let's start off with the chips and salsa. The chips were great. They had a nice crunch and weren't overly greasy. The salsa, however, was awful. I don't know who decided that it needed a dozen lemons or limes in it, but it was a horrible choice. I didn't make it past 3 chips before putting the lid back on. Now for the burrito. I had such high expectations for this. I had heard such great things about this place from friends. I was so disappointed. My burrito was extremely dry. Not just from the lack of sauce but the chicken was dry as if it sat under a heat lamp all day. There was hardly any rice but it had tons of pico de gallo. However the pico tasted very old. We're Regular costumers at this location and we've noticed a decline in food quality, portions and costumer service. I.e. A Large order of chips & queso was less a quarter of a small bag, the freebirds chicken bowl had very little to no chicken (again the portions is not what it used to be.) The Weebird bowl (kids meal) was extremely lacking in size and chips are no longer added onto that meal. The employees seem to not care. They look absolutely miserable. Not only is it made in front of you but they actually mix the ingredients up so you're not taking a bite of rice then a bite of everything else!
