Second time here. Giving it another chance. It's noon on Saturday. I'd say there are approximately 80% empty tables. I wonder if the reviews caught up with them. My first time here was less than acceptable. It was a to-go order that took 45 min and there was an absurd line of people standing around waiting looking at each other in frustration. That was about a month ago. Today was more acceptable. Food was quick and overall was not soured by some lackluster service. I've been to several other locations, this one could be as popular if they worked on expediting to go orders. Hopefully long term it gets better. read more

Not a very good experience at all. First I went to pick up my order was told it be ready in 25 minutes waited another 20 minutes just to be told that somebody took my order . Finally demanded to talk to the Manager which I did . From there another 15 minutes for my food finally. I worked in the food industry years ago was some let this happen. Don't expect this location to get your order right. Don't expect this location to pack your items nicely. Don't expect this location to be timely. Expect them to give your order away to someone else. Expect them to not believe you when you tell them you've ordered. Expect them to accuse you of lying and ask for order confirmation. Expect the female manager to be rude until you prove her wrong. Decided to try out the new location nearby. The decoration is nice and bigger than the one in cedar park which is great. Service was nice and friendly. Was able to get the WIFI password from one of the waitress. Note that there is barely any cell service inside this restaurant On to the food, it seems like the portion got smaller to me. My girlfriend and I were able to finish the basket of chips and queso all in one sitting. Usually there is a bit of it left for us to take home. The Raj and the Trailer park both had fried chicken but for some reason The Raj taco fried chicken was like twice as big than the Trailer Park one which was odd to me. Overall it was decent, wouldn't say it is the best taco but if you are craving tacos and aren't looking for the authentic kind m, this place might do for ya. read more

Update - Haven't dined in lately, but have ordered on-line numerous times. Recently I went in to pick up my on-line order. I waited 10 minutes past the "ready for pick up time" then asked about my order. I was told it was made and picked up !!! Come to find out, people are walking in, grabbing (stealing) an order, and walking out as they don't check or verify who you are !!! FREE MEALS !!! So I had to wait for them to remake my order. I went in for a interview after having multiple texts reminding me of the interview and when I came in the bartender working was very nice and helpful but the manager his name started with a t was very blunt telling me that the position had been filled and walked away to clear trash off a table. I've done several interviews and never had this kind of interaction especially with a manager when a position is filled you should send out a text or something so that people are not showing up and getting turned town in a rude manne. read more

This review is regarding Crystal short blond hair woman working on Saturday afternoon . She was extremely unprofessional, RUDE, and unwelcoming. She kept us waiting inline for a good 7-10mins when no-one was standing in-front of us. She didn't acknowledge us at all, even after looking at us several times and saw we were not being helped. This was our first time at Torchy's. I had questions about the menu and food. Every answer was "just pick something and I'll remove what you don't want on the taco". She didn't recommend anything or anything of that nature, and made us feel extremely uncomfortable, she clearly didn't want to be bothered. I have to admit this is one of the most unpleasant and worst first impressions I have experienced at any restaurant. She was so apparent she didn't want to be bothered. Even my children questioned her unprofessional. She needs to written up with a warning. Management I hope you speak to her to get her act together. We pay for her paycheck. Fantastic service and very tasty food! They had jerk chicken tacos ( The Brushfire) for my wife. She loves those! The hatch green chile queso was out of this world amazing! They are pretty easy going about giving you more chips so you can scoop out and enjoy every ounce of the queso. Sometimes I just lick it out of the bowl, but my wife glares at me when I do that. The tacos are a little pricy, but they stuff them full of ingredients and that most important ingredient of them all, vitamin taste. The food came out pretty quick and fresh. Service was polite, professional and efficient. They have a nice outdoor sitting area which i would love to enjoy, but my allergies prevent that. Please enjoy it in my stead! The service is still on point everyone was friendly and welcoming. The foods quality though has diminished. The tacos were Luke warm and my corn tortilla not warm at all. Our side of corn was burned and the cheese and guac were the stars but no the chips. A welcome addition to the restaurant scene in this area. My family has already added this new Torchy's as one of our "go-to" spots for a quick dinner. Food has always come out quickly for us. The sight here would not allow me to select zero stars. I went to the restaurant at around 2:15 on Wednesday Dec 3. I sat at the bar with a man to my left and 2 women to my right. They all had their drinks. No one was behind the bar or at the pick up/order to go counter. After 10-12 minutes two individuals came in the side doo with empty trash can. The blond girl walked to the counter without washing her hands. Very disgusting after handling trash I stated I was there before the other two guests at the counter. There was guy that walked over with her. They ignored me and I got up and walked out. I was a regular patron there and tipped very well. Not anymore. I rate the experience a big zero. i will file a complaint with the health department and the corporate number. I recommend any guests to be aware of the lack of enforcement on hand washing and lack of respect to the customer. Of all the Torchy's we have been to, I would rate this one at the bottom. Not bad at all. They do need to install WiFi for customers ASAP. It's a known issue in the H‑E‑B / Bar W Marketplace that there is virtually no mobile data and very poor cellular phone reception. This should have been thought out before opening. The food seemed consistent to the Cedar Park location. I feel the interior design is a little bland. They should install more TVs on other walls as well. Service was good with the cleaning crew seeming very assertive to take away empty / eaten food trays and clean tables. Their front of house and training staff all seem to look the same - guys with long hair and piercings and girls with purple hair and excessive piercings. Not the most professional look at all. Would prefer that stay down in South Austin. At least everyone was friendly and seemingly on the ball. This is a very nice addition to the Leander/Georgetown area and I hope they stay open to 11 or 12 on weekends making it a cool hangout for locals that don't want to drive 20+ minutes to go to a bar/quick serve dining establishment. This place is so good. I got the beef fajita and I don't know what it is but they just do stuff here different. Great atmosphere, service is just okay. Don't have expectations regarding service. You order food and sit down. They have drinks but I didn't try them but they have a big selection. My friend also got the Democrat and the Baja shrimp and those were excellent too. A taco place that doesn't offer any salsas is insane and misleading. The tacos themselves are good but anyone who appreciates tacos would be taken aback to be served tacos with no salsas or limes. Definitely need more cooks. After ordering our food we had to wait an hour to get it. For this price point and for the food to come out cold after an hour is wild to me. With a 3 year old and a 1 year old they had a real tough time with the wait.
