As a parent of a special needs child who is able to run pretty fast I really like the fact that the park is a fairly large distance away from the road. There's plenty of room to fly a kite on a nice day. There's plenty of spots to park in on the concrete lot so parking shouldn't be too bad perhaps even during softball games. There's a fairly new concession stand, covered pavilion and restroom all within one building. The town's website mentioned that the restrooms may not be opened at all times so I wouldn't depend on there being a restroom there. Today it was unlocked so we were able to use it and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was and the fact it was well stocked with much appreciated toilet paper which is always a bonus. There's 5 really nice softball fields each of which has a bleacher stand that has a much appreciated shade over the seats. The fields appear to be well maintained by the town and respected by those who use it. If you are into playing softball chances are it wouldn't be too difficult to find a team to join. Flower Mound Parks & Recreation should have a list of teams who meet at this park if you are curious. The park has two very nice playscapes with wood bark placed around them to soften any falls. There are slides and climbing walls along with a separate swing set. The smaller playscape is designed for younger kids from around 2 up to maybe 5 years old or so. The larger one is made for older children who aren't afraid of heights like my children are. The swing set has swings designed for babies along with the traditional swings we all know and enjoy. Around the play structures there are various rotating toys that kids can climb on and get nice and dizzy from going quickly around in circles. Best of all there are several park benches located close to the playscapes to allow parents to supervise their children while they play. Overall it's a very nice park that Flower Mound has built for everyone to enjoy. We will definitely be back when I need to wear my children out on days they have way too much energy. :)

This little place has a few covered tables for you to eat at, water fountains, and a nice clean bathroom. Lots of trash cans and recycling bins. The playground is very small but did the trick for us for about an hour. It's a pretty nice playground, just small. There are a ton of soccer fields. While we were there there were a few guys practicing, but other than that all the fields were empty. If you want to go play some soccer this is a great place to do it because there are nice goals always there and not busy.

Spark labs is an amazing place in the 280 sports building. In the same building there is a kids…read morehair cut place, an escape room, a swim place, a gym, and various other activities. Spark labs hosts Snapology camps, which is Lego based camps that include STEM and other learning opportunities. You can also request to use the space for a group meeting, like a book club, D&D night, work meeting, Pokémon club, etc. They also plan to start a parents night out and other activities during the school year.

The inflatable slide isn't manned. So at one point so many kids were on it, it collapsed onto everyone. Parents were panicked trying to lift it up to get their kids out from under. Not safe! The smaller inflatable slide had a bounce house attached. There was someone manning it but he was on his phone and just letting every kid in so kids were bouncing on top of others. Lots of tears coming out of that one. The merry go round goes extremely fast for a kids ride. I was shocked they had a ride for littles going that fast! The cotton candy station was a hot mess. The food court is not worth it. The chicken strip basket had 2 chicken strips and 5 tater tots. If you get a side of tater tots you get 7-8 tater tots. Overall I would say for the cost, I don't think it's worth it. There wasn't enough to actually do. There are other places in the area with more things to do, that are safer for your kids and also worth the price.

Just like that and BAM you can punt that volleyball over to your worst enemy and you don't need to get involved with HR or nothin. Now there is a nice little pond nearby the volleyball courts. You must visit the live beaver exhibit! They work day and night just to keep the park clean. Word on the street they love apples so bring some apples when you visit.
