I had the car towed to Jay's and gave him a box full of random car parts, nuts, bolts, etc. The next day he was able to put everything back together and the car ran perfect. All in all, I see a bright future ahead for this place. He doesn't do much advertising and is all word of mouth. His prices are great, and he is a very honest mechanic. It's protected two generations of families and now it's on its third. Of course, over the years Goldilocks has had its adventures with a few wear and tear scars. When our Ohana adopted Goldilocks, we really didn't know where to take our car for repairs. I asked dozens of mechanic shops around town and because of Goldilocks make, model, and year, no~one wanted (or had the right tools) to work on the car. Word-of-mouth lead me to Uncle Ed. After speaking with him on the phone for a few minutes, I knew I found the right man for the job to restore our car back to road worthy conditions. Uncle Ed and his assistant are good ole' honest mechanics that give me a straightforward answer each time I have a problem or question about Goldilocks health. We still have a few more things to address with the car and a couple of preventative issues to fix. Luckily, Uncle Ed knows his stuff and has a good game plan ahead for Goldilocks, allowing me and my Ohana the peace of mind of knowing our car still has a long future ahead with many more miles of adventures. They only replaced it because I called them weekly! I made an appointment with John and it was very quick and easy. Best part is he showed me how to do it and didn't charge me a dime. I recommend his service. He is a master mechanic who knows what he is doing and does the job right, the first time!

I even went to Walmart to get a different size tire iron, again, no fit. Finally, we called Busy Bee and our call was answered promptly. The person was honest enough to tell us that it might take an hour to an hour and a half before someone can get to us. Which was fine, but we got a call from an older gentleman sooner to let us know that he will be meeting us in about 35-40 minutes and he was on time. He was pleasant and conversant while he was changing my daughter's tire and had the tools to take the lug nuts off. In addition, he patched my daughter's tire as well! Saved us a lot of money by not having to buy 4 new tires for an all wheel drive car. I will have to call them and find out the gentleman's name because we are definitely using them again and would prefer the same gentleman to provide the service.
