From the original owner, George Howe, to his brother Michael Howe, to Ren Mireles, Adam Lee and Erik Alberg, this cozy (440 sq. ft.) shop has evolved and matured. Current owner Erik Alberg, aka"George the 5th", had been a patron for more than 30-years before purchasing the shop late in 2025, continuing the tradition. I've done business with them all. The cigar selection (120+ facings) is carefully curated to feature some of the best cigars available. As George himself was famous for saying "They're All Good!" New sticks are brought in regularly and old favorites also are stocked. New for 2026, Jorge's Cigars are back in the shop! Cuban American Jorge Casimiro started rolling cigars at George's Smoke Shop more than a decade ago and since has become a well-respected cigar manufacturer. George's Smoke Shop also features a wide selection of custom pipe tobaccos including the venerable "George's Blend", as well as pipes and pipe smoking accoutrement. Cigar lighters, cutters, and other items also are available. The cigar lounge at the rear features a half-dozen comfy chairs, two TV screens, and plenty of lighters and cutters. This is my go-to place for sports! One thing that sets George's apart from a lot of shops is that all the regulars, whether they're 21 or 81 years old, are friendly and welcoming. So, if you're looking for a second home...this just may be your place. (I know it's mine!) And if you're "just visiting" Holland, check it out while you're there. There's a reason downtown Holland is THE BEST downtown in America...and George's Smoke Shop is one very important element in that well-earned title. PS: No vape, no e-cigs, no cannabis. I purposely go out of my way to try to keep my business in small locally owned shops. Owner refused to sell me a $4 box of incense because he wouldn't charge my card for any sale under $10. I only had $3 cash on me so I started to walk away. He then decided he would "do me a favor" and agree to run my card if I bought a 2nd box making my total still under his $10 REQUIREMENT. I spent decades of my life in retail sales up to and including district mgr for HUGE chain of stores similar to this type of business. I also spent many years in customer satisfaction research in every scenario imaginable including as a secret shopper. If his goal is to upsell, I get it. Upselling can be a HUGE money maker when its done right. Upselling by way of threat or intimidation is morally bankrupt and only speaks to a lower level of care for customer retention. I will never be back.

Someone had mentioned the stones in the driveways. They ARE difficult to walk on within the market area. The only other issue was the number of vehicles driving through the market area when open. There isn't enough room for cars AND walkers. Not interested in a further visit. I'd sure would have liked to see the variety and really wanted some wood planters. Oh well. FAR from the best.

There is produce, bulk candies, confections, a boot store, a shoe store, so many clothing and jewelry options in addition to vintage and handmade items. There are a lot of seasonal vendors there as well as new comers regularly. Some massive shops and some with a table and canopy. The atmosphere is always friendly people, both sellers and shoppers. Everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. We just finished our second weekend of selling, going back for the 3 day weekend for 4th of July and while I'm exhausted I am excited. Camping is on your site for the most part/ in your vehicle and there are air conditioned restrooms open 24h. Being able to come on Friday without extra charge is valuable if you are not seasonal, giving extra time to be organized without pressing yourself so much in the morning. Cathy's Kitchen has great coffee and breakfast, I've not had their lunch and they are not open for dinner. Everyone in there is so friendly. Free parking and admission make this a great value and must stop for shoppers and no one should be disappointed in doing so. Many people bring their dogs, of all sizes and breeds, some in strollers. They also have puppies for sale/ to adopt, though I'm not the biggest fan of that especially in the heat. There's a country market across the street (not affiliated) with a nice variety of offerings to accommodate your stay as well. Put Reits on your list if you haven't been yet, just bring your sunbrella, sunscreen and water for you and your pet if you bring them. Hope to see you there!

This place is awesome.... the customer service is great. When I first started vaping I thought it was stupid. I didn't think that vaping could ever replace cigarettes. When I went in and met Monroe he new just what I needed to quick smoking. Monroe was very knowledgeable and new almost everything about the products at freedom smoke. What I really liked is that he wasn't just trying to sell me anything Monroe had a real interest in with my concerns.... I have to say if it wasn't for him I would probably still be smoking.... the current manager now is also a great person. Matt is very caring about his customer needs and I think a lot of customers return because of the management. I'm not making this up I have always had a the red carpet experience when I'm there.... thanks guys I really appreciate the service. read more

I understand you might not sell that many but you're a VAPE SHOP namely a "e-liquid and Vapor shop" but you don't even sell e-liquid anymore maybe a few cheap shitty Chinese brands that'll destroy your lungs, but that's it. If you just wanna sell breezes and profit off these stupid college kids just change your name to "breeze shop" or something ffs. P.s they 2 ladies that were there to "help" me today didn't help at all, all they did was give me an attitude and didn't answer a single question I asked except why they didn't sell them anymore and it's because there's no market for it lol such terrible customer service. The mouth piece only took one fill, then after one fill, they no longer worked. I brought them back for an exchange. The employee, unknown name, called the owner. He advised I need to purchase a whole new vape, not just mouth piece. So I purchased a whole new vape. I returned home and tried the new mouth piece from the new vape in my old vape, the old vape worked. I returned to fully worked shop and advised what I found. She called her boss again and I was advised that I couldn't return the replacement mouth pieces because they had fluid in them. I was then told that since I used a new mouth piece from the new vape, I could not return that either. I was sold something I didn't need and they would not return the vape, which I did not need because I used a piece of the new vape. No consideration for the mistake they made and no accountability. I will not return to Fully Worked smoke & vape shop.
