Ended up locally in Chico, and I sure am glad. While I was focused on PJ, Chico Truck and RV owner Dan suggested I consider LoadTrail in the 6' x 12' size. (They sell both PJ and LoadTrail). Checked prices at several NorCal dealers; Dan's initial quote was the lowest. Bought the 6x12 LoadTrail with high side extensions and couldn't be happier. Handles both debris loads and my Kubota BX 23S very well. I like the way the multi-function tail gate allows me to spread chipped rock on my ldriveway. Since the Camp Fire, I've really put the dump trailer to work removing fire-related tree debris. I've had two minor issues with the trailer (both self inflicted). Chico Truck and Trailer's Service department handled both immediately, even though I went there without an appointment. They didn't charge me either time. Great family run local business. It sounded like the chain was about to snap right off. I thought, better to have it checked out before I'm away from service deep in the backcountry roads and mountains. As I was pulling out of Chico, I just happened to roll by Northstate Power Sports. They told me my back sprocket was "shark-toothing" and my chain was about to go. They didn't have the part, but spent the time to call around to all the other shops to see if they could find it. Nope. So just as I was on the phone with another shop 70 miles out, Eric, one their incredible mechanics just happened to be clocking in and asked what's wrong with my KLR. I told him what he could plainly see and about the misfortune that no one near by had the part. Then he says, " I might have what you need." I'm sure I looked suspicious, but then he told me he rides a KLR and had the stock back sprocket laying around which he'd be happy to help me with if it fit. It did!! He had me back on the road in a couple hours with a fare price for labor, a smile and a restored belief that their are angels of the road out there. Thank you Eric!!

They told me they were busy and to move my car because another customer needed to move. I left my car running and hobbled out to help this young man. He had groceries that obviously came out of the trash. I got a bag from my car and helped him myself. My sister said one of the men who worked at Bob's called me an "asshole". The young man who fell was struggling to get up and not one of these 4 employees who saw him tried to help him. I did go into the business and told them they should all be ashamed of themselves. I wonder if they would treat a fellow human being this way, how well do they care for our cars. I will never go back, and I will encourage others not to go back. What has happened that people won't help others in need. Why wouldn't someone take a minute to help him, at least help him out of the middle of the road in front of their business. No stars for Bob's. The manager said he had no idea this happened, and maybe, but what about the other 4?
