Wow! Where do I start? End of May purchased a 2023 Trail Blazer from Erica and Seth both were wonderful. Where our service changed was when the vehicle got involved in a total loss car accident 14 days after purchase. Our lien holder randomly changed, we weren't notified right away. After the vehicle was deemed a total loss we tried to cancel the maintenance contract and gap insurance since we are within the 60 day timeframe. Both companies said the dealership had to do it, but we would call and no one from finance would call us back. Now, today lien holder is paid off and we are told to have the dealership cancel the maintenance and gap insurance and they refuse without documents showing the lien is paid off. I get it, and we don't mind supplying it once we get it but it's been 29 days since the accident and we only get run around by this dealership. I recommend staying away from them. Wonderful sales department but help after they sucker you in is hard to come by. I would not recommend this dealership. read more

Of all the sales folks that claimed they would help us straighten things out, Karen Marsh was the only one that ALWAYS kept us informed and up to date on what was happening. She was amazing, keeping in communication even when she was not at work, and always following up when she said she would. I scheduled an appointment for my vehicle to get keys cut and key fobs programmed. I came in on time and after speaking with the service representative he told me they could not use the keys I supplied them because they were not purchased from them. These keys are factory oem keys that I had. I asked if they had some in stock and they replied yes. After 3 hours of waiting I was told it's taking so long because they had to order keys. They didnt bother to use the factory oem keys I supplied nor tell me 3 hours sooner. read more

Worst dealership experience I could've imagined! Found a mercedes SUV on their website and went to look at it with my mom. I'm a first time car buyer so obviously I had questions and NOBODY wanted to help us. The female saleswoman we had gave us no information on the vehicle and hardly even said a word to us, despite us trying to ask her about her day, questions about the car, etc. Every employee was so rude and talked down to us. The service I've had here has always been good, with the exception of this time. A friend advised me that dealerships will overcharge, and I decided to look into it, and found the average quote was $500-600 less then Freeway Chevrolet! I called to have my car towed to another mechanic, and it took four days of calling Craig Hartman, an Assistant Service Manager to inform him of my decision. I had a new vehicle for 2 weeks then the bank wanted me to add a warranty so the payment was gonna go up. I didnt want that so I returned the vehicle. that wasnt even the end of it. I get my old vehicle back. take it out of state for the long 4 day Thanksgiving weekend. get home all to find out they already un registered my vehicle. before it was funded. that should never happen. so I had to go to the dmv and re register it. yea I got a refund check from the dmv. however. they made me pay all the fees all over again. and the personalized license plate fee. I had to argue with them that it was indeed their fault confirmed by the DMV. finally I did get them to reimburse the extra fees I had to pay. but they weren't willing to at first. so I went and got my own financing and took my business elsewhere and even got a more expensive vehicle. there is alot to this but i will keep it short.the most important part is i was lied to.was told the engine needed to be tore down to determine the problem and i was charged $700.00.they said it needed a knew engine. i took it to tempe chrysler jeep dodge.they didn't have to tear it down.it was a shorted wire in the ignition which freeway chevrolet repaired before i took it back with the same problem. i pulled a car hauler up the mountians and put 800 miles on the jeep then i called tempe chrysler jeep. they said if i did that i have a strong engine.i have all documents to prove my case which i sent to the attorney general.the attorney general forwarded it to freeway chevrolet and i haven't heard anything in 6 months.iam a full time caregiver for my wife which it will make it hard to file a small claims but i will. read more

Loved the used car I purchased but I was lied to about free car washes, threatened by one of the managers after I had agreed to buy the car and finished up the paperwork and had numerous stall tactics pulled on me while I was there. I got like two car washes after purchasing the vehicle and then after my salesperson left I was told no more car washes. Wasn't part of their original offer. I'm told FC is owned by Chapman. It's no wonder Chapman doesn't put its name on this dealership. Go elsewhere to buy your Chevy or used vehicle. I have a tainted view of Chapman now because of my very poor experience with Freeway Chevy in Chandler. read more

Let's be honest it's a car dealership so my standards are pretty low. That being said this dealership is high pressure and will not negotiate on their already high prices. I was looking at a used vehicle. The sticker price 20,888. I asked about 18,000 since Kelly bb had the retail listed at 17,678. They said they could make it work in the payment. The payment? I could care less about the payment it's the total amount you finance that matters. You're not making anything work in the payment you're just charging me more in finance charges and extending the loan period. Plus I already have financing through my bank. So I walked away. On my way out all of a sudden they remembered they had an internet price of 18,888. Really? I was born at night just not last night. At this point I was frustrated so I just said you're over by 888.00 dollars maybe you can find some other price as I leave. Later on I found yet another price for the same vehicle on CL at 19,888. What this tell me is that they have various levels of douchebaggery happening at the same time. Like I said my standards for car dealerships are not high but this was ridiculous. I gave one star because I couldn't give none. Now the happy ending. I left and went to carmax purchased a vehicle four years newer with 30,000 less miles and more features. Get this for the same internet price they all of a sudden remembered. I can't speak to the service department which in my experience is the best bunch of guys and gals in any dealership. Just the sales side of the house. Beware and come in guns blazing. Don't take any crap and walk away at the first game they run on you. read more

After reading the response from Freeway Chevrolet I think it's important correct their misinformation. "At no time did the customer ever commit to any payment higher than the original $675.92" Yes, in fact we told your finance manager to see what he could work out with the sales department and the exact words when he came back were "I'm sorry guys I spoke with the sales manager and they aren't sure they even want to negotiate to the $692 that was offered yesterday." "They also shared with the finance manager that the whole goal was to lower the payment compared to their trade in payment" Yes we did and we ALSO told the finance manager that we understood the payment was higher since a truck was more expensive than our trade-in was but that we wanted to stay as close to the $675.92 we agreed and signed the contract on. "Eventually BELLCO FCU gave us the best approval. Full dollars requested at 84 months @6.99% APR" This is NOT correct... We were told the final APR would be 7.99% so the miscommunication on your end needs to be fixed. read more

I bought my car at Freeway Chevrolet last year and have since been back several times for oil changes. I will say, the buying process wasn't terrible because I used TrueCar and got my car for a good price. My only complaint was they insisted on putting on tinting and nitrogen in the tires and whatnot for like 700$... I didn't want this, but the salesman wouldn't let me buy the car without it, so eventually I gave in. Oh well, it has been fine. As far as service goes, everyone is always friendly, but it usually takes foreverrrrr. I sit in the waiting room for hours. I think, despite the low price, it is worth it for me to pay more and not have to wait for service, so I don't think I'm going to come here any longer. I'd say if you live nearby and bought your car here, it's worth it to come to the service dept, but otherwise, not so much. read more

Lonnie, I understand why you must charge more. I really do. What angers me is suggesting repairs I don't even need! This is the second time this has been done. The first time was to replace brakes that I thought were fine. I took my truck to a brake shop and they said there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with my brakes. It was a YEAR later that they needed replacement! This time it was for a multitude of front-end work that didn't need to be done. I've used them mostly to get parts, but recently did my first service there: 2008 HHR with 170,000+ miles. I had 2 issues and both were for parts still covered under special warranties: electric steering and automatic transmission shifter. I was pleasantly surprised they did both for $0 in one day. They paid for rides for me by Lyft back to work and then from work to get the car. So, great for this. My issue is with spam and ignoring customers emails and requests for information. I've replied to multiple emails multiple times, but in 6 months, no one has responded. 2 weeks ago, I get on their website to ask for information about a service and still NO one replied or ANYTHING. That is B.S.! I've emailed directly to persons there, replied to their spam emails, and nothing. It is okay for parts, though. read more

The staff was nice but the cashiers did not seem to have a grasp on everything going on around them, eventually I found out I was not The only one there who waited that long. I love my new car! Every person I have come in contact with at Freeway is geniune. Duane and Tracy put me at ease through the whole process. Rob in the glass department is one of a kind. We sat and chatted for an hour. He really is such a great person. One thing I'm not happy with is that they say that you get a free car wash and the two times that I have brought in my car it was not cleaned inside. So, we've been to this service dept. 2 different times, both taken care of by Scott in the service area, and both times have been phenomenal for a dealership. They are professional, courteous, and spot-on with their service. My husband took in his truck for an oil change and I had a different truck for brakes. They were so nice! They were able to drive my husband to work/pick up after, and gave me a rental for the morning, couldn't ask for a better crew. The work was fantastic, and the cashier, and even the rental agent was just awesome. They don't make our trucks anymore (sniffle), and will continue to service these things here at Freeway until they drop! Seriously, have never been to a dealership where their prices were competitive, the people were genuine, and felt good about taking our vehicles there for care.
