I got dispatched to Freeway Towing from AAA earlier this morning. Car wouldn't start and needed a tow. AAA told me 45min-1hr to get to my house.. alright, whatever. I get a call from Sam M. about two minutes after AAA dispatched it out. He told me he'd be there in 20 minutes, he's coming back from Palmdale.. he got to my place in 10. Holy crap. My car broke down during lunch break while it was blazing hot outside. Called AAA to have my car towed and ended up meeting Sam with Freeway Towing. He maintained solid communication before reaching me, including: when my tow request was ordered (almost immediately after calling AAA), when he was on his way, and again with an update about needing to get gas (thus a slight time delay). Keep in mind this was AFTER I changed my end destination (which was much farther than initially requested) and he graciously accommodated me with no problem. He was not only extremely professional, but very kind and genuine - we even had an awesome conversation on the way back to my house. I received a call from my sisters this morning at 4am because they were stranded on the 10 freeway. They initially needed gas, but by the time I was able to find a gas container and fill the tank, the cars battery had died. The car was slightly in the lane of the freeway exit and putting gas was scary. Thankfully I Sam was able to help us out. He was extremely polite and helped us get the car started again. I wasn't able to get all the gas into the car because of oncoming traffic, but once we were off the freeway, Sam offered to help put the remaining gas into the car. This guy is a true gentleman and delivers the best customer service possible. Breaking down on the side of the freeway can be stressful, but he was able to lighten up our morning. They were dispatched through the Southern California Automobile Club on 5 occasions. They couldn't get it right five times. On each occasion, someone was supposed to pick up my car within a reasonable time.
