As the mobile bike road repair man who owns his own business I didn't mind too much. But a year is a long time, so I asked for the bike back. He said "sorry it was JUST stolen". But ...Aaron didn't inform me until I ASKED. When I asked for some sort of reimbursement, Aaron said a potential customer had tested the bike...during the test ride- this unknown customer had gone in for a bubble tea. The bike was stolen during that stop, but the customer promised to pay $450 (Aaron told me the $450 had been received...) As the go-between I asked him to pay me this at least for my very expensive bike. He didn't answer. I asked for $400. He didn't answer. I waited and asked again... he didn't answer. I called the shop... I'm dissatisfied and disappointed with the service if it means that's the store. If not, then perhaps someone used your identity as a mobile repairman??? However I have verified online that this is the owner of Apex cycle and Kaiju BJJ ACADEMY.... If that's true I'm wondering about my bike or money thanks

I came here to have the derailleur adjusted because the chain on a new bike I bought for my son keeps coming off when shifting. One quick look the guy (can't remember his name, but is a Filipino guy) at the shop noticed the chain was too long and needed to be cut. I believe that was $5 to do and then the to adjust the derailleur, it was going to cost $30 ($35 total). He said to leave the bike there and he will call later when it is completed. I decided to go grab some lunch while I waited for the bike to be completed. He called a couple hours later and said the bike was done and ready to be picked up. When I arrived he said the chain was bent in a spot, so those were the links he removed. He also said one of the adjustments on the derailleur was broken as the derailleur that came with the bike was cheap. He also made a few other adjustment to the bike for free which was greatly appreciated. If you need to purchase a used bike, need some adjustments on your bike or need to fix/replace any parts, Green Bicycle Depot is a great place for budget price.

When I showed him the receipt from his store the previous day, saying the tire was fine, he still stated there was nothing he could do. I will never use this store again. Let the buyer beware. Poor-quality merchandise, even worse customer service from the owner.

He told us that he could have our scooter tire replaced within 4 hours, so we hung around especially coming from South Sacramento this was a plus. We had previously taken the scooter to a very popular place in sacramento, Tahoe Park who would not replace the tire because we wouldn't allow them to fix other things that were wrong with the scooter. So, Winston told us what was needed and we will definitely be back to use him to make those repairs on the scooter. If you have read this far please go see the bike shop. I will never steer you wrong in my review. We had a very positive experience. Winston's customer service went above and beyond what was needed.

I started learning to ride my bike later that day, it's perfect, definitely an amazing bike for what it's worth. Hmmmm. They use expensive AC capacitors…read more I picked out Rey's Air because it has a 4.9 Yelp rating. You can't always judge Yelp's rating by its cover. Our AC went on the blink yesterday. It's less than ten years old and is used minimally. The unit's interior house fan and exterior AC fan remained working but the compressor failed to engage. The air was not being chilled. I'm old. 76. I know that capacitors commonly fail and I have had them replaced over the years. Rey' Air quoted $79 to take a look. What could go wrong. On the positive side Rey's Air arrived promptly the next day. On the negative side, after about a half hour of perusing, the tech said that he determined that I likely have a bad capacitor. He recommended replacing it, or even upgrading to a better capacitor unit (for $200 "more") When I asked what the 'regular' capacitor replacement would be, he said $285. I hesitated. I said that's a lot for a capacitor. (Home Depot sells them for as little as $10 to $20 for the part). He said everything is expensive or something to that effect. I said okay. Let's just get it done. I did not want to go through more torment with another AC outfit. I said let's just go with the "cheaper chicken". Then the tech began adding. He said okay. "So that's 285 plus 79 (the show up fee). That's $364! (for a $10 part). I think I said 'yikes'. That is an 'expensive capacitor'. After a couple of minutes the tech relented agreeing to "only charge me" $285 for the half hour of looking (and five minute replacing). Bottom line: Fair price for fair service is all we ask. I see some gouging here. I understand that there are times when changing a capacitor's price should go up. As when there are hazardous or miserable conditions including problematic accessibility, or with lengthy or repeated driving times. None of that applied. Short drive. Open and shady and cool work space. If Rey's were to have charged $180 or even $200 for the tech's 30 minutes attendance, that would have been fair and profitable. Two star rating is best I can do. .

So impressed with their knowledge and taking the time to talk through the specs in the level of detail I wanted. Coming from the bay area where bike shops are a bit trendy and snobby, this was a breath of fresh air to get a down to earth conversation about the right bike for me. I've been a rider of Target bikes my entire life, but dropped by here out of curiosity yesterday to get a sense of how much a bike upgrade might cost. Don't know much about bikes, but got a little primer from the Joe guy. Really sincere and honest service attitude here--I didn't even bother checking out any of the other bike places in Davis after I left this one. Best bike shop in Davis! I brought my bike in a few times after some problems, and they fixed up nicely and quickly. Outstanding customer service, and very eager to help staff. I came in for a quick tune up and repair on my tires and they wouldn't accept payment. If you have any problems with your bicycle, the Freewheeler is definitely the place to go! read more

They have stairs and a ramp at the entrance, along with automatic doors. You can walk around the city while you're waiting for your bike. There's several cafes and restaurants within 5-10 minute walking distance. You could visit the State Capitol. Forewarning: You're going to pay, at minimum, $600 for an adult bike. Even a kid's bike starts at $350... If you need extra parts and accessories, I would recommend you buy them off of Amazon or somewhere cheaper. To give you an example: a tire pump here is over $100.
