I am a member of Fremont bank, and a very proud member. I sometimes think to myself did I make the correct decision when it comes to so many choices and picking a bank is one of those choices. I can honestly say that I have without a doubt made the correct choice regarding choosing Fremont bank as my #1 and only banking institution. I was driving to work early morning, and I heard on the radio that Fremont Bank is offering no cost refinancing... no hidden charges. Hmmmm, is this a scam? I called Fremont Bank and spoke with Justin Castro. He was very professional and explained to me that Fremont Bank will incur all the charges associated in the refinancing except for the application fee of $395 but it will be reimbursement later. Justin pre-approved my application then the process started. Everything is done on-line except for the final signing of the Loan Documents upon closing. From Justin Castro to Yvette Torres to Ravdeep Sandhar, I would say they provided an Excellent customer service. I spent time communicating back & forth with Ravdeep, he's very knowledgeable, responsive, and kept me up-to-date. Thank you Fremont Bank for having excellent people working in the Mortgage Dept/Loan Dept. Now that my refinancing is done (just in 3 weeks), the "No cost" offered by Fremont Bank is not a Scam. I was looking for a local bank to do business with and wanted to try Fremont Bank. I had started the loan process and provided Ali with all the information needed to get the loan started. Ali was very responsive in returning my calls and explained everything to me clearly. As the loan moved along I had the pleasure to work with Palwasha and she was also very responsive to my requests, we did hit a bump with some issues but I was able to get the process back on track and got the appraisal done and closed in 33 days. I did my due diligence to follow up with them to ensure all was moving along smoothly to prevent any delays. They used a local appraiser and was very familiar with the area and provided a fair appraisal. Over all the process was smooth and the service was good. Refinance on my home was as easy a I could have ever imagined. I would ask for Thomas Chen, Residential Lending and Jeanette Lema, Mortgage Loan Processor, by NAME. Fremont Bank's loan team walked me through every detail including how to get the credit reporting agencies unlocked (I locked them after they all got hacked) so they could verify my credit, free appraisal scheduled on a Saturday, a Notary who came to our home after bank hours for our convenience, and emails and phone calls over the last 3 weeks from beginning to end about where we are in each step of the process. Bad Customer service, Bad Result .. Never apply for loan in Fremont Bank. Our Loan Officer Mark Hosking is rude, inexperience and irresposible. He delegate all his failure to my loan for his processor. I apply for this loan on November, got reapplication twice. Finally receive the final rejection on Feb 2016. The process is painful. Mark can not foreseen the Bank will not approve the loan for Garage Conversion of my home. Instead he drag the loan for 4 months of Refinancing Never ever Fremont Bank again.
