This school is horrible. I went to a lot of universities college they told me my credit is not transferable at all. Then when I try to email them about something they take for ever to answer back they take like weeks to just email you back. They want to help students but how they can't even reply to email right away. I fell like I got rip off from this college! Do better!! They take forever to answer back!! They're not organized at all. I wanted to become a massage therapist for some time, and Fremont University helped me achieve my goal. I enrolled in July 2023 and graduated in March 2024. Ms. Daisy from the financial aid department gave me a thorough breakdown of how and where the funds are allocated according to my program. Even after graduating, she has been helpful with answering my questions and addressing my concerns. Through the 7-month course of the massage therapy program, I had amazing teachers. Brandon, Kristen, and David, who guided me to become the best massage therapist that I am today. I'm delighted that the Program Director, Ms. Jamerie, is giving us (students and grads) an opportunity and experience to do massage events outside of school. When my life encountered obstacles, Ms. Amy (Director of Student Affairs) was readily available to actively listen, hold empathy for me, and give me advice. In any profession, you need skills to help you stand out and eventually experience to negotiate hirer wages. This school will give you neither. And you'll save money and you'll learn WAY more if you just go work as a file clerk - legal assistant - and then paralegal. After talking with attorneys in the field, they are not convinced there is ANY value in paralegal school and I'm not either! Waste of money and time. Especially this school. Just don't. I regret coming to Fremont college. 1) you will have to pay General Ed again if you want to further your education at a Community college so your paying for nothing 2) They lied to me over and over that my credits would transfer to certain colleges which they were not able to! 3) Some classes were not emphasized by instructor and wasted money on the beginning classes. 4) they text you constantly if your out of town or cant make it to the class. Sometimes the school texts you thinking they are reaching someone else. 5) After you leave the school 50% of the staff do not try to help you at all and only want their money. 6) If i was a Business owner and my customer was lied to and 100%? This college is great and the professors are amazing. The only reason why I gave 3 stars was because, When I first applied I was given a quote of how much classes would cost and a general breakdown of how many courses. I didn't end up taking 3 to 4 courses they had mapped out. I was charged for the additional courses that I didn't need to take but was still expected to pay the balance. I really don't think it is fair and I have not received any help at all in finding any type of employment within the field that I finished my degree in. I am very disappointed. read more

This is the worst school you can come to when you're only going to get into debt the teachers literally only pick their favorite students to really teach. They don't care about the other students. They don't bother to care if you're not doing well in the class because if you fail that means more money for them for the school. Wait how much you have to pay anything they take their time with each student but they don't know if they're done with the class they're out of there pretty quick or onto the next thing. I would of gave this college 4 maybe 5 stars for their "well portrayed" interested in the potential students education, BUT that all changed about 1 hour ago. So I, like many others decided it was time to further my education. I did my research. I left no stone unturned when it came to finding a college that would fit my need. Once I decided on Fremont, I was excited. I did the research on the school, I made sure they were accredited, I set my appointment to meet with admissions. Everything sounded so good and dandy. They were so understanding of how I wanted to become a paralegal, yada, yada, yada. I did the pretesting for the college, I supposedly passed everything with flying colors. (whos's going to fail a test that ask you what a blizzard is?) Time to meet with financial aid. I knew that going to a private school I would have to take out a loan. I knew that I would apply for grants and loans to cover tuition, BUT what I did not know, was that after loans and grants I STILL needed to pay $4,500 out of pocket. ($100 or so payments WHILE I went to school) Hmm. I have friends who've attended private colleges and NONE had to pay out of pocket while they went to school. Needless to say my dream of becoming a paralegal was starting to die. Admissions people to the rescue! 'You won't have to pay anything till after you graduate. We'll get "special" permission from the chancellor so you don't have to pay till after you graduate.' Hmm. I backed up a bit knowing that I would have not only the loans to pay but this other 4,500 also. I told them I had to think about it, 'give me a week or so to process all this and find a way to pay for this 4,500 while i'm going to school' NEVER did I back out! Well after one call from one admissions person, they gave the weekend to decided if I wanted to continue with my application process. I said ok. Monday has come and I got another call. This was Mr. Vargas ( he's the director, I think? ) it was either now or never. Called me to see if I was going through with the process, told him I wanted to find a steady job before I commited, but for sure I would be enrolling in May the next semester. Loose cannon! he went completely off on me. Called me a bum, told me for a lack of a better word crazy because I wanted to find a steady job before I enrolled. ( I have a crappy job now) Told me to pretty much "F" myself and good luck trying to find a job without a college degree and HUNG UP on me. Guess I need to find sanity and a better school who doesn't try to force me to enroll. sucks. read more

I'm a current student in the Paralegal program. The instructors are very knowledgeable but the unmotivated students and lack of policy enforcement makes it extremely difficult for the instructors to do their job and for serious students to learn. Administration is only concerned with retaining students. They come up with creative ways to pass a failing student while neglecting students that do well. School policies are ignored since enforcement will surely cause 50% of the students to fail. Students normally interrupt instructors by showing up to class late, carrying on side conversations, shouting out live scores from ball games, telling inappropriate jokes and complaining about difficult course material. Only enroll if you are willing to pay private college prices for an ABA approved Paralegal Program at a college with an easy commute and loads of parking. read more

I finished my degree last year February in massage therapy & Sports rehabilitation. Fremont has been helpful my entire enrollment. Once I finished they helped me with job placement multiple times. I was very pleased with how the classes were ran and the knowledgeable instructors. The administrations hospitality has always been great as well. This school is terrible. It's a joke. They told me I would be able to transfer my credits to other Universities because my goal was to eventually get a Masters. They lied! I basically had to start over with my BA in another University. This school is a joke and is only after your money. I have tried to get in contact with them numerous times and have requested my diploma a couple of times all my attempts have been in vain. It has been years since I graduated and I have yet to receive my diploma. My advice is save your time and money. read more

He is highly professional, accommodating, and diligent. My appointment with him during my inquiry was very smooth and thorough. He was gracious enough to assist me in ordering my transcripts and ensured all my questions have been answered. His friendly demeanor makes you feel at home and at ease, that way, you build a strong rapport and ensure you are taken care of. The best college in town!, I would have to say the staff is friendly here, Tony the campus president will work with you in all that you need whether it's help with transcripts to books and material to resume preparation and connections. This college has taught me the material I need for my future paralegal job, working in a law firm and how to scrutinize very important documents I need for my future and present. This office is quite modern, they have their own library and they have fun activities such as pie eating contests to Hawaiian get together parties where you meet and greet everyone. This school is not only organized, but they are always up to date on their lessons and have a wise staff that will help all the students in college connect and benefit from here. I have been a practicing Paralegal for 5+ years my education at Fremont opened up opportunities for me that allow me to make enough so that my spouse can stay at home and raise our child and not have to worry about having to get a job. That being said you get out of this school what you put into it. If you are a person who needs to work and go to school at night (like I did) then you will appreciate the no nonsense approach to education. I am currently a student attending at Fremont College in their Sports and Rehabilitation Therapy Program. The course only takes 18 months so you can come in and get your degree in a short amount of time.Since day one everyone has been very helpful from the staff to the ambassadors. So much so that I chose to become a part of the ambassadors program. The classes here are very hands on. The instructors are very passionate about their work and will take the time to help you gain the knowledge that is needed for you to become a successful therapist. In my search to find a good school I came across Fremont College, I reviewed the website and I met with a counselor that explained all the degrees they have and how I will be able to get a job right after graduating. I was really excited about attending this school UNTIL I met with the main department director Mr. Vargas. He was such a sleaze!!! He came into the little room where I was sitting and introduced himself. His way of speaking to me was out of control! He is very condescending and RUDE! He spoke to me as if I wasn't serious about school and at some point I felt he was trying to hit on me! I cannot believe HE is the one in charge of enrolling people into the school. As a professional individual and having raised my children to be respectful, I was (I AM) appalled that such a well portrayed college has such a douche as the "head honcho". The counselor I previously met with was the complete opposite!!! She was very sincere and gave me all of information I needed. My advice to everyone, do not go to this school! They only want your money! They will not help you find a good career after you graduate. Especially if you want to major in sports rehabilitation. The only jobs they can help you get are massage therapy jobs which is not a good career choice for men and not a good paying career to look forward to for everyone. You will be owing over $20,000 to the state and not even have a good job to pay all your bills. I regret going to this College and I'm sure allot of people that have attended here feel the same way but haven't had a chance to write a review. This school is one of the worst i have ever attended. Not only they give you inaccurate information but also don't take students seriously. I took my digital marketing associate's degree from Fremont College and it was a complete disaster. Their curriculum/courses had inaccurate information, their assignments were outdated and this i was able to confirmed by my own instructor. He mentioned that the school told him that they did not updated their courses in years. This was my first suspicion. On the assignments they told us to go to different websites that were no longer active. It was a total failure with them. Then i went and continue my bachelor's in business and the same situation. Me thinking it was going to change based on the complaints received from the students, it continue. In my business courses the recordings for the live sessions were not always available. They are always having problems in the IT department. As a student i did not have the obligation to call them and ask them about the issue. Sometimes i had to let the instructor know about the problem and it took them days to resolve it. Then there were occasions where instructors would emailed us that we they had giving us the wrong assignment and never would take responsibility for their own mistakes. It was chaos when them when it came to resolving issues. They even asked me to help them with new ideas to better the program. I sad no because that was not my job or problem. For those seeking to enroll here, please stay away and look for another school. They are dishonest and only want your money. I was going to continue my master's in business but after what i went through. I will be attending another school that really delivers exceptional education and service. read more

I attended this school about 6 years ago. I was dropped because I failed two classes and didn't meet the GPA requirements for financial aid. I have now returned as a paralegal student with my completion date sometime in March. I think the most important thing you can do before entering into any situation is do a full on research of the school or any school for that matter. The units are transferable but not if you plan on attending a Ivy league school, think more along the lines of another private institute. The only reason I am giving this school a 3 and not of 5 is for their lack of information they can provide you with what other colleges you can attend to further your educations. I was once told to do my own research after I was told a list would be provided to me in the initial "meet and greet phase". Over all there have been no financial surprises as of yet. I like the teachers are mostly Attorneys or Paralegals who can provided you with hands on experience. They do extend themselves to ensure your success.
