I dont think my high GPA mattered much to anyone. Except for learning some good software applications, I got taken advantage of, but luckily I still got my loan paid off. After leaving and not getting any offers, I took a very hard job as a trucker, which I had to leave 1 1/2 years later. Through time I started doing temp work as a tax preparer and found a decent job. Some of the other accounting graduates found jobs-probably not through career services. No matter what school you come from or grades or level of education, it's always extremely competitive.
