And what I'm very disappointed in is the billing. They stopped taking my insurance and I have a secondary insurance to cover costs. They told me that they could bill the secondary after the primary insurance decided what they would cover. The office manager never billed my secondary, she would constantly call and text to get me to pay the difference. After three visits of "you owe us money" because they didn't bill my secondary, I was done. Cindy is very rude and snooty. She even told my husband that I still owed them $130 from a "really long time ago" when it's actually on $37. Even the voicemail saying "we've waited a long time for this" is outrageous to me. You didn't bill my insurance, you tried to get money out of ME instead.

She is only 20 years old and her teeth were in good condition before allowing them to fill a few cavities. They drilled her teeth down so much that her new dentist has said she basically has no tooth left to hold onto the fillings that Floss Dental put on her teeth. They all fell out less than a month after Floss Dental did them. Pitiful care and something that should last her a lifetime is now ruined because of them. Pathetic! Think twice before trusting them with the care of your teeth.

However, I recently cracked a tooth when I bit down on something. He sent me to an endodontist to confirm which tooth was the problem as I had three that were hurting badly. After determining the correct tooth, I went back to Dr White and, with consultation from the endodontist, decided to just remove the tooth, it likely couldn't be saved. Dr.white was able to do it even though it was a consultation appointment. He explained everything thoroughly and we started the procedure. Not counting the time to get it numbed, he was done in about 10-15 minutes. He gave me a prescription for pain meds and an antibiotic to prevent any infection. It is now the next morning and I have almost no pain, no bleeding, and will probably not take the pain pills after tonight. I think Dr.White did a fantastic job and his helper was very efficient and nice too. Te staff is always friendly, they get you in for appointments quickly, and their prices seem very reasonable. It was less than $400 to have my tooth removed. Dr White is also a super nice guy and I am very happy with his services. Give him a try.

Dr. Abittan…read moretook the time to put in a temporary bridge, so she could get my feedback about bite, fit and color shading before installing the permanent one. She gave me conisderation as a person with allergies regarding the adhesive used for the permanent bridge, to ensure I would not have post installation reactions. Her office staff was knowledgable and responsive throughout the multi-month process, including timely submittal of pre-estimates to my dental insurance company. I am very pleased with the final results and give a 5 Star recommendation to this practice. Congratulations to Dr. Abittan for maintaining such high standards with her dental work; for being such a pleasure to work with and for training staff to truly support patients. Adele D. Trebil

This office wasn't the right fit for me…read more My biggest concern was my interaction with the dentist (I believe her name was Dr. Aimee). I let her know upfront that I have a severe fear of needles. Instead of focusing on how we could work around that, she repeatedly told me that I should consider therapy. She also told me that my fear of needles--and even pain--is "all in my mind" and that I need to learn to separate what's happening in my brain from what I'm feeling in my body. Hearing that once would have been one thing, but she repeated it several times. Eventually I became emotional and politely asked her to stop because the conversation itself was making my anxiety worse. At that point, she appeared visibly frustrated, ended the exam, and referred me elsewhere, saying I would be better served by a provider who could offer "safe" dental care because I was "not safe" due to my fear of needles and pain. What made this especially disappointing is that several members of my family see this dentist and have told me she is usually very patient with people who struggle with dental anxiety and fear of needles. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I can tolerate needles and painful procedures when I'm treated with patience, empathy, and respect. What I struggled with was having therapy repeatedly suggested while I was already in a vulnerable position. I came in looking for dental care, not a psychological evaluation. The reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because the rest of the staff was kind and professional. They were apologetic when their X-ray equipment wasn't working properly, which required removing and repositioning the sensor several times. They handled that situation as well as they could. My issue wasn't with the staff--it was with how I felt dismissed and judged by the dentist. If you have dental anxiety or a fear of needles, I think it's important to know that experiences may vary significantly depending on how your concerns are addressed- and maybe the mood of the dentist. Looking at other reviews I'm not the only one who isn't impressed with her attitude towards patients.

I took her suggestion to cap my tooth, but then had to experience it falling out a few days later while eating. She then booked me with someone in her office who put it back in the wrong way, causing me great discomfort. So I then had to remove the cap again, and found there was even some cavity left behind that she missed. It is really sad because I liked her, but when she kept making mistakes, didn't take responsibility ("it's the vendor's fault for giving me bad cement"), and even put me through hoops to get half my money back and then refused to follow through ... unfortunately, the best I can say is that I am deeply disappointed.

They both said they loved her, so... I decided to give her office a call. Getting an appointment was easy and the receptionist worked with me to verify insurance and other details so I would have to worry about that on the day of the appointment. Great! When I arrived at the office I felt like I'd joined the modern world. Not that my old dentist's office was dingy, but this place felt designed to calm and provide care. There's a lot of technology going on that my previous dentist hadn't adopted yet. An electronic new patient questionnaire was new to me, for example. And, the digital x-rays and sharp photo images of each tooth that Dr. Vazquez both used for the exam AND to explain to me what was going on in my mouth were excellent tools that I hadn't experienced before. Importantly, the technology was used as a tool for the staff and me. I never felt like we were serving technology or anything was done to me because the machines wanted it that way. Every person who worked on me was friendly and looked me in the eye. The dental assistant started off by giving me a road map of my visit so I would know what to expect (xrays, then the doctor would look at them and do an initial assessment of my mouth, then examination for gum health, then the hygienist would do his magic). They were very clear and careful throughout my visit. And, friendly. Did I mention friendly??! An unexpected plus was that Brian, the hygienist, prefers to work with manual tools and not with the damn Cavitron. He said he'll use the machine in specific circumstances, but likes the tactile feedback he gets with manual tools and thinks they do a better job anyway. Their post visit follow-up is great, too. When making an appointment for some follow-on work (replacement of a 30-year-old amalgam filling) I had some questions that I hadn't thought to ask the doctor. The receptionist noted my questions, and by the time I had gotten home I had an email telling me what the doctor said about my questions and a confirmation of the new appointments.
