I've been a patient of Dr. White now for approximately 10 years. Never needed anything other than cleaning so wasn't sure if he was a good dentist or not. However, I recently cracked a tooth when I bit down on something. He sent me to an endodontist to confirm which tooth was the problem as I had three that were hurting badly. After determining the correct tooth, I went back to Dr White and, with consultation from the endodontist, decided to just remove the tooth, it likely couldn't be saved. Dr.white was able to do it even though it was a consultation appointment. He explained everything thoroughly and we started the procedure. Not counting the time to get it numbed, he was done in about 10-15 minutes. He gave me a prescription for pain meds and an antibiotic to prevent any infection. It is now the next morning and I have almost no pain, no bleeding, and will probably not take the pain pills after tonight. I think Dr.White did a fantastic job and his helper was very efficient and nice too. Te staff is always friendly, they get you in for appointments quickly, and their prices seem very reasonable. It was less than $400 to have my tooth removed. Dr White is also a super nice guy and I am very happy with his services. Give him a try. read more

Dr. White and his staff are hands down the best in town. My husband and I have always had anxiety about finding a dentist that we liked and felt comfortable with. We needed some emergency dental work and were able to get appointments right away. As soon as we walked into the office, we were immediately greeted and felt welcomed. The team is friendly, professional, and very personable. Dr. White is a gem! You can tell he is very knowledgeable and he truly cares about his patients and their health. He made me feel comfortable, explained the work that needed to be done, and continued to make sure I was okay during my appointments. From extractions, deep teeth cleanings, and fillings, every visit has been top notch! The positive energy and encouragement that Dr. White gives during procedures has helped me cope with my anxiety when going to the dentist. I would highly recommend Dr. White, especially to those that have anxiety, fear, and uncomfortableness when going to the dentist. Hands down the best dentist in the Reno/Northern Nevada area! Dr. White is not only kind and patient but also very skilled- graduating from Michigan Dental School, arguably the best dental school in the country! He's highly knowledgeable, and though rare, he will admit when he doesn't know the answer and promptly seeks a solution! That right there is a quality trait of an expert practitioner, and what I look for in any doctor. No humble expert knows all the answers, and what I have come to learn in life is that the more I learn, the more I realize I don't know. He is a true artist in his field, and he treats his patients AND employees with respect. His assistants go above and beyond to provide an exceptional patient experience for all ages. I went to Dr White and he advised I needed a crown for a cracked tooth. Submitted to insurance. Dr White did not provide good enough e x-rays and the insurance won't pay. Now I'm being charged over 400.00 How am I to know whether I need a crown or not?. Do not go to this dentist. They don't provide correct info to insurance and expect you to pay. read more

This place is amazing. My experience could not have gone better. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful and Dr. White himself was very personable, he explained what we needed to focus on and what I needed to do in the future. I've been going to Dr. White for a while, and although he is a great dentist, what moved me to write a review was his incredible staff, especially his hygienist Danielle Snow. She cleaned my teeth today; she was thorough but so gentle and had the greatest aura /conversation. I really didn't want to write this because I think the supportive staff is GREAT at this office but they messed up the insurance and I owed $800 out or pocket that should have been routine filling work and the dentist had to redo two of my fillings twice because he left a gap too big that food was now getting caught in between my teeth. Awesome friendly staff!! Made my dental experience smooth and great! I live in California, but drive to Reno for all my dental procedures. They had all my documents ready when I got there and insurance approved. I knew exactly what I had to pay out of pocket 1 week prior to my appointment. Which was awesome. Normally I am hesitant to write a review on a Dentist after only four appointments. I like to see how everything plays out first because I have not had good experiences with honest Dentists in my past, but Dr. White and his complete staff are incredible. I feel like I finally have a Dentist and Hygienist who actually take pride in their work and love what they do. From the time you talk to them on the phone, through the end of your treatment, they are all professional yet very hands on and get to know you. I enjoyed many different conversations that were had between them all. Took away my severe anxiety about dentists. Had complicated extraction today and was so impressed by the gentle and positive attitudes of both Dr. White and his assistant. I went to this dental group because I was referred by a friend. The dental group didn't bother checking to see if they even accepted my insurance. After all the work was done the dental group couldn't bill my insurance. They then came after me 6 months after the fact with a $500 bill to be paid out of pocket. This would have never happened if they took the time to verify if they accepted my insurance. read more
