Kim is the best nail tec I have ever used. It's expensive, but she does a form of silks that stay on, are durable and I can't say enough positive things. What she does is unique and the nails she puts are are thin and look real. I can't say I liked the pedicure or waxing - I go somewhere else for those, but for a set of nails? She is worth the extra money. Kim no longer works at this establishment and I can no longer recommend their services. read more

I have been to many salons for pedis, but never had one at this astounding level of attention to detail. Anna was careful, focused and diligently finessed every phase of the process from cuticle care to foot and leg massages, even including hot stone final massage before beginning the nail color process. The shop is extremely clean and well laid out, the air is not toxic with acrylic odors, and the people are super friendly and service oriented. I will be back every time. read more

My maid of honor made an appointment here for the pampering day for my wedding. She has had good experiences here in the past. They have 6 spa pedicure chairs and they give GOOD massages. The gal who was taking care of me did a really good job, probably one of the best mani/ pedi's I have ever had but I am the bride so I HOPE they would. Everyone else's nails turned out well too. I agree with one of the other reviewers though, they didn't have a large color selection and I was glad that I brought my own colors. All in all it was a good experience. read more

I walked in to this nail salon at 1:40 pm today- on a Friday,and was greeted by one of two employees who sat at desks with no customers in sight. I said I wanted a pedicure and was asked if I had an appointment . When I said "no, but was hoping I could be worked in", I was told they were both waiting for appointments and couldn't take me- never even suggested a time later. I got in my car and drove a block away and called (this was literally 10 minutes later) and I asked if I could make an appointment for today, and they said yes, what time did I want. I said 2:00, and was told "yes". Obviously, they didn't have bookings, they just didn't want to take me without an appointment . I told them I was just in there and they wouldn't take me, so forget it. Such POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Will never give them my money. read more

My number one must in a nail salon is cleanliness. French Nail is impeccably clean with a nice, upscale decor. My shellac manicure looks fabulous. They spent time eliminating all my cuticles and evening out my nails. I am 7 days out and my manicure still looks amazing. I should also add they were friendly, fast, and fairly priced. read more

Monica was amazing for my first pedicure there! She was super talkative and we got to know where each other was from. I loved that she took her time with my pedicure and made it a great experience for me. The other staff is super friendly and always asked me if I wanted something to drink or if my toes were done on the dryer, so that they could reset it. Lets start with the positives...the reason I am giving 2 stars. The salon is VERY clean!!! The chairs are super comfy and my peducure felt very nice. And now for the reasons they only got 2 stars... 1. My shellac manicure only lasted 6 days before chipping and breaking my nails (which never happens at my usual place) 2. Awkward moments! They called me while I was sitting in the pedicure chair and asked ne if i was goung to make my 10am appointment...i explained i was already in the chair...and she was like OH..OK. which was kinda wierd. And while i was picking my color the lady stood over my shoulder not saying a word (which wasnt bad, just made me feel rushed) 3. When i got home and looked at my nails in the light I could see through the color which was a dark purple...so if it had been applied correctly should have been solid purple. 4. I was in and out in under an hour and it cost $60...which i wouldn't normally complain about...but thats a lot for not a well done job. 5. And lastly i explained I could not have scrub during my pedicure...and while i was reading my book she applied scrub all over my legs. My fault for not paying attention...but then i had to ask her twice to wipe my legs off and she appeared put out. Normally Im a super easy customer! I read my book and enjoy my "me" time once every 3 weeks away from the family...but this ended up causing me more irritation than relaxation. I think I'll stick to my great little place next to silver lake (which i only strayed from because i only had 2 hours on a sun morning and they were booked with a bachelorette party). read more

It was honestly the worst mani pedi I have ever had. I am still putting neosporin on my cuticles a week later because they are so inflammed and sore. I will never return. This place was not what I am looking for in an every two week nail salon. I just got a mani no pedi ( I do that every four weeks). The lady never spoke to me, I was a bit surprised at the lack of gel color choices and I saw the hang nail the lady created on my thumb nail when trimming them down and she didn't file it out all the way. That caused me to have color chipping within one day. I would say as far as cleanliness the place was fine. As far as quality of work...the worst I have ever had. I'm currently sitting at this nail salon and couldn't resist posting. I came here for a shellac mani less than a week ago and, although she did a fine job, one nail was done poorly and the polish peeled within a couple days. I can handle imperfection, but it's how a business reacts that matters. I walked in, explained what happened, and they immediately apologized and sat me down to fix it! Years and years ago I had acrylics....they got to be too much maintenance with the job I had, constantly breaking and chipping. I got a new job, and engaged! So, I figured it was time to get them back on. I have tried several places in the area to see which I like. This is far and away the best place I have EVER been to. The shape was great, the nails aren't too thick. The color is flawless. Choi did an amazing job! I had read the other reviews that it was too expensive, but I didn't notice much of an increase over other places I've been to. Besides isn't it worth it to get a quality job!! My girlfriend and I came in for full sets. We asked for just a simple white tip acrylic nail. They didn't use a drill which I loved, but we both walked out with nothing that we asked for. My white tips were completely crooked and my cuticles were so sore they were almost bleeding. Ours both started lifting the next day. For the price we expected much better results. I'd had some trouble with my usual gal, so I decided that since I lived down the street (at the time) I would try some local business. So I grabbed a vanilla chai latte at the Spotted Cow (awesome also) and headed to French Nail. Not only were they not too crowded but they also asked if I was just in to relax or if I had a special occasion, this was awesome. I informed her that my wedding was in a few months and I wanted to try out some of the spring line colors...ok this was awesome. my girl grabbed about 10 polishes, all around the same color but different shades, sat me down, and put 1 color on each nail and let me sit and decide which one I liked best. Now, I'm sure that this kind of service could have had something to do with the fact that it was a monday around 11am but still I was impressed! I left feeling fresh, polished, and pretty! Oh and the environment, so relaxing, I loved the soft decor and that they had a new modern sink that the customers got to use for the "ok now wash" stage. :) read more

I decided to treat myself to a much needed mani and pedi and made my appointment at French Nail. Cindy was super nice and always had a smile on her face. The massage chairs they sit you on for the pedicures are fab! I wanted to take it home with me! The whole process was very relaxing and was offered a bottle ice-cold water which was great since I walked from my apartment to my appointment and it was very warm outside. I did as my sister had suggested: do gel french tip on fingers so that when your nail starts growing, you or no one else can tell the difference since the white painted part is at the top! This is the only place I trust. I travel 30 min when I want to get my nails done just cause I know they will do a good job. The recent poor review confuses me because they are always really nice when I go there and they do a great job. It's a great location too, in the Mill Creek town center. You can walk and get a coffee and treat then walk to get our nails done. If you want to pay less somewhere else, don't expect a great service. This place is fairly priced. read more

I have been going to the French Nail at the Mill Creek Town Center for a few years and have tried EVERY other nail salon in town and none do as nice of a job as this one. I get pink and white fills every couple weeks and pedicures at least once a month. The salon is very nice and clean, great massage chairs, an all-inclusive pedi including hot stones and honey scrub, and an amazing collection of opi products with all the latest colors. I love that they don't just take every walk in, as some salons do, so you get full attention every time. I highly recommend French Nail to anyone looking for a quality experience and result. read more

French nail is a very pretty facility and they have the best massage chairs that I've ever sat in. It was my boyfriends first time and he was very pleased! The only downside (and this is my first time coming), is that my pedicure took less than 35 minutes. I felt like every step of the process was rushed. My nails look good, but my feet don't feel as clean or trim as I'm used to. I hardly got to soak my feet, she didn't cut my cuticles very much and she didn't use the utensils to clean under my nails. I may be a bit high maintenance because I have ingrown toenails and am used to something more aggressive. read more

Telling her my request she then looked to her calendar while shaking her head no abruptly looked up and said "not today." Looked back to the nails she was painting. It should be noted it says "walk ins welcome" on the door. We aren't even though they aren't usually very busy. Be sure to make an appointment to get treated just as rudely even tho "Jane" the older lady afore mentioned does a great job on gel polish. Just don't expect kindness or smiling. I won't be back. Not impressed overall, and I never even got a manicure. My daughter and I walked in, there were two workers and no customers. The lady that came up to us was nice and the place was clean, hence the two stars. They state that walkins are welcome, but turned us away, which was actually fine, because we are typical customers at Nail Masters. My daughter wanted to try a new place, we tried, they failed, so we walked across the street and once again got awesome manicures (and a discount!) at Nail Masters. I've been looking for a new nail salon for awhile now, since the place I frequent is just "alright". I decided to try this place after reviewing them on Yelp and I came in as a walk-in and they were able to get me in right away. First off, this place is super adorable, the decor is bright and girly and very welcoming and inviting. The girl showed me to where the Shellac colors were and the only awkward part of my experience was that she stood there, right next to me, without saying a word, while I was choosing my nail color. It made me feel a little uncomfortable. Anywho, after I chose a color, she sat me down and got started right away. I tried to make small talk with her, and she didn't say much, so I discontinued that and let her go on with her business. My nails turned out great, Becca, I think is her name, gives an awesome hand massage as well. I give this place a solid 4 star rating only because I have yet to find a place that absolutely blows me away. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend. read more

Very clean and quiet, unlike many other nail places where the nail tech's are yelling across the room and the TV is blaring. French Nail is a relaxing experience. It is a tiny bit pricier, but the pedicure's include a hot stone rub. The only thing I would ask for is longer massages during the manicures and pedicures. My dear friend took me here for by birthday and it was great. She had made reservations, which is what you do if you want a quality experience. We were a bit early and they took us right in. The pedicure was the best I have ever had. It was such a relaxing time. The part I enjoyed most was the fact that while the ladies were treating us they never spoke to each other. I have a friend who goes to places where they speak in their native tongue and she says they often times are talking about you and your 'imperfections'. So it was nice that I didn't feel self-conscience while enjoying my time. Before leaving they checked our polish to see if it was dry and found that I had a slight smudge on my big toe and would not let me leave until they repaired it. That is amazing customer service. I've gone here several times for various treatments (Manicure/Pedicure/waxing), the woman are always very friendly and accommodating at times when I didn't have an appointment or need to change appointments to include friends. The one color manicure starts at $13 and lasted on me for about 2 weeks! Very impressive. Lots of options for pedicures as well. Eyebrow waxing went well shape-wise, but the tech left wax on my face and the area around my brows was very sticky afterward. It was only $10 and I was going home after so I wasn't too bothered.
