I get the dipped nails with the French nail finish. I've tried several places, after my preferred person left another nail place nearby, and other staff there wasn't as skilled (or didn't care as much). Nail Masters is across from my gym, so I dropped in there to try them. Great service, and EXCELLENT job, probably the best of anywhere I've been in the 30 years since I started having my nails done. They are meticulous. It takes a little longer, but the results are pretty much perfect. And when I carelessly caused a tear to start in the side of one nail a week after I'd been in, they not only glued it to stop the tearing, but also buffed it out, redid the polish, and refused to let me pay for it! They're highly skilled, and super nice and bonus - it's got a nice spa atmosphere. I won't go anywhere else now. read more

I really want to like this place. They take walk ins or last minute reservations. However, the last few times I've been there, I've been underwhelmed. The staff is friendly and quick with their job. I have also left there on multiple occasions with dried skin and calluses. I feel like the amount I pay, I should at least have smooth feet. read more

I have been going here with my family since I was a little girl, and has always loved this nail salon. I recently went to get a pedicure and discovered it was under new management. Their grand opening was just one month ago. The interior has been updated and it looks great. Very open and clean. The service is wonderful and the staff make sure they remember your name to make you feel more welcomed. They offer you drinks and snacks and make sure you are as comfortable as can be! The leg massage was nice and they used freshly sliced oranges as part of the massage, which felt and smelled great! I will definitely be coming back and bringing my friends! read more

I veered from my normal place to try this spot because I was in a hurry and I regret it. I got a gel pedicure and a dip manicure with no special add ones and my total was $175 before tip. AND I was there for over 3 hours. The salon itself is very dark and outdated, but I did like the massage chairs more than other places. The staff seemed friendly, but it was unclear if they were coordinating or not, as I spent a lot of downtime in the salon just waiting (and there were only two other women there). Maybe it would have been different if I were a regular or had an appointment, but it just seemed poorly managed. My nails came out fine, but wished for better given the insane price. read more

Today was my second time visiting this salon. I've been here a couple years back and remembered I had a great experience, so I decided to check them out again. You know how there are some salons where they still make you wait even though you made an appointment? Yeah, this place isn't like that. They seat you as soon as you walk in when you have an appointment. The lady I had was very nice and gentle. She wasn't rough trying to grab my hand and she wasn't rude when she was giving me direction. She was also very considerate of my wishes about not cutting my cuticles. I made an appointment at 1:30 and was done by 2. I don't like spending the whole day at the salon, so I'm glad the lady was quick but still did an amazing job. The only thing that makes me not want to come back is that the tools they use aren't pre packaged or new for each customer. They had a tray for the tools, but I'm not sure if they were clean or brand new. read more

I've been checking out a handful of salons in the area to pick out a new regular spot, and Nail Masters did not disappoint! I came in as a walk-in on what turned out to be a busy Saturday morning. They did a good job of prioritizing pre-scheduled appointments without leaving me to wait for a crazy amount of time. The manicurist I worked with had great attention to detail, and made sure I had the perfect colour before getting to work on my shellac mani. I might be inclined to drop .5 of a star just because it was a tad more expensive than other spots I've visited and for what it was- but in all, very happy with the results. read more

They were meticulous with my manicure, gentle, and all the employees were so kind! Usually there is always one or two things that aren't always right at any nail salon but everything was perfect. They're very clean too! They also have waxed my eyebrows a few times and they always turn out perfect! This place will always be my go-to for nails! Very reasonably priced too! Just finished having a great pedi... I will be back!! My friend and I just finished a tasty lunch (see my Mon Amie bakery review) and each wanted a pedi to fix our nasty heels (don't worry, no pictures included). We walked in (between 2:30 & 3pm on a Tuesday afternoon) and both asked for a mani & pedi. There only appeared to be about 3 women working and about 6 customers seated (in different stages of the process) and we appreciated their honesty with asking us if it was okay for each of us to just do a pedi because they had some appointments coming in soon and they were afraid they wouldn't have time for a mani/pedi each... it was totally fine with us, especially because I would rather you ask (and be upfront about it) instead of rushing & ruining my relaxing experience. We were promptly seated and had a good soak before our Deluxe pedicures: $30 for honey sugar scrub, foot mask (which we both substituted for paraffin wax), and foot lotion massage. I don't normally drive past Nail Masters (it is next to Thai Rhapsody and Dream Dinners across from LA Fitness) so I am thankful to my fellow yelpsters and their helpful reviews! read more

Came here earlier this evening with a friend for pedicures. Their power had just gone out because it was so windy outside, but they took us in, as long as we were ok with not having light. The ladies did an amazing job, considering they had to work in the dark! They were patient, sociable, and took their time. The salon is clean, and their color selection is abundant. It was also super easy to book an appointment over the phone the day before. Also, no power = no functioning cash registers. My friend and I only had $41 in cash with us, and the pedicures were $44. Myself and 2 girlfriends came here on 9/9 with our little girls for one of their 4th birthdays. The littles wanted pedicures and this is the only place close with pedi chairs for kids. We made reservations and had no issue getting in right away, as we went right after they opened. The woman who greeted us was very bossy and rude, and quite unclear on what she was asking/telling us. The 2 little girls got their pedicure started right away, and eventually ended up just soaking their feet in warm water for 15 minutes then getting their toes painted, which cost $35 each!!!! No massage, no soak, nothing. My girlfriends and I each asked for a hot stone pedicure with gel polish. 2 out of the 3 of us received hot stones and a massage, and 1 out of 3 of us received gel polish. My 2 girlfriends both have bruised and painful legs/shins 3 days after the pedicures. I have an infection in my big toe afterwards. We were all charged $70 for our pedicures!!! One friend decided to get a shellac manicure, but ended up with acrylics after the nail tech couldn't understand what she asked for. This friend also got an infection in her finger from the acrylics being glued to her actual skin. This salon should not be in business right now and should define my not be charging people these outrageous prices for poor quality service. read more

I have been a regular customer for several years and have mostly had good service. However, last week I had my nails done and they all immediately started peeling, which at $55 is unacceptable. Due to the busy Holidays, I just had time to go get a repair done and was subjected to a lecture from either the manager or owner about how they are unable to repair them for free unless it happens within two days. She then continued to lecture me about the cost of their rent and didn't allow me to express my frustration as a customer about the quality issue of my last visit. If this is how they treat a long term customer, I certainly wouldn't want to see how they treat walk ins. Terrible customer service and complete lack of professionalism will see me finding a new salon immediately. SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICE- I sent my wife and my sister for a sister day to go here to repair their nails. Nails have bubbles in the paint, shape of nails are jagged, filed nails and some of skin causing my sister pain. My wife's nails weren't painted with quality she was expecting and can see through them. I'm not a nail expert as a man looking at their nails I'm very frustrated especially after they told them their nails would be $35.00 each (the service they requested) and then after they were done charged them $100.00. I've been to Nail Masters three times now and I have to say only ONCE did I receive a great manicure. One technician didn't know what she was doing--she didn't even push back and trim the cuticles and kept touching the powder. The second time the technician did great up until the top coat, then she rushed it, missed several areas, then smudged it when she didn't let it dry all the way. The only technician worth seeing is Dee. If you can't get her--don't bother. WARNING: They DO NOT clean their utensils between clients. They do not put them in an autoclave. They spray them with WATER (if you're lucky). They pull their utensils out of a box marked "Clean" but they haven't been sterilized. Once they're done, they put them back in the "clean" box. I love this place!! Michelle is really amazing, she cares about doing a great job and asks how you want your nails done and recommends new styles. She did my nails and I am so happy with her and the salon that I will be coming back every time. I actually made the mistake of picking another place because I needed them done since she had a day off and wrong mistake ever, they ruined my nails, I came back the next day with Michelle and she took the time to fix them and she gave me angelic looking nails. After years of working construction on my feet, a friend insisted I should try a pedicure. Cautiously optimistic, I asked her where I should go and she recommended Nail Masters. I was nervous, I'm not going to lie. I was certain I'd be a fish out of water, an outsider with terrible toes looking for a fix in all the wrong places. When I walked in, however, I was greeted warmly and surprised and impressed to see the Seahawks game on TV! I had a wonderful experience here and my feet felt great afterwards. Eh, I've had better. I've had worse, but I've definitely had better. This shop is okay. I came in here for a some pedi/sister time. They were able to seat us quickly, which was nice. However, the pedi itself was lacking. The water was luke warm, dissapointing considering it was freezing outside and I was really looking forward to a nice hot soaking. The files appeared to be used and scuffed. My sister asked for new ones and they advised that the files are washed and santized after every use... still didn't look clean so they graciously brought new ones for us. My chair didn't work and they had to bring adapter to lift it so that I wasn't leaned so far back. The pedicure itself - soaking, scrubbing, clipping, filing and painted lasted maybe 20 minutes total. The result was okay meets good enough. After she was done, I sat in the chair waiting to see if I was done or if they had a foot/toe dryer or what was going on next. She had moved on to someone else. Guess that means I was done. Best part about the experience was spending time with my sister. Like I said, it wasn't the worst, but it wasn' t the best. Not sure I would go back for a $20 foot bath. read more

The best thing about this place is the Spotted Cow coffee shop located across the street. I've been here a few times and have had an okay experience - nothing profound has stood out good or bad. Then yesterday happened. When trying to get in with a few friends for some manis and a pedi, they seemed to be fairly busy so gave us the "come back in an hour" response and then walked away. Alright. So my friends and I went for coffee across the street then came back an hour later only to be told we had to wait another hour. How nice it would have been for them to take our names an hour earlier to ensure we could get in, OR to simply let us know they were not going to have time for us. Not thinking I'll be back. read more
