We went in as a walk in appt. Not a single customer was in there. They were very pushy and kept trying to add more services and add ons and we all kept saying no thank you We want what we came in here for and that's it. Well they didn't like that and started to speak amongst each other. I had my translator on and needless to say it wasn't very nice. Nevertheless one of the ladies did a service I didn't ask for even after I told her no. They made me pay for it. Also sloppy job on nails there was a black brush hair on my nails under the paint I can't get to and I will never come back. Also bathroom is horrendous and board of heath needs to be called because there is water leaking into buckets all out back with mold growing on floors and walls. Disgusting. read more

This review is based on my most recent visit. I stopped in to have a full set of acrylic nails. The woman who did my nails worked quickly and barely spoke to me (even despite my efforts to engage her in the typical small talk) She was much too busy chatting with a coworker. (Rude!) I can't tell you what they were talking about because the conversation was not in English. Within 24 hours of leaving the salon my nails were lifting around the edges (7 out of 10 nails) I emailed them twice with attached pictures and have not heard back, despite specifically requesting that they do so. I am very disappointed that the nails were nothing like the nails I had done by Ken at this location several months ago. (I uploaded pictures to yelp of those as well as these nails) So, apparently it's just a luck of the draw situation. I'm looking for a new nail place. read more

I went back to French Nails last week, for a fill and pedi, about three weeks after my first visit . Excellent customer service - I was surprised that the technician remembered me from my first visit, and even remembered our conversation from that visit! The salon was just as spotless as my first visit, but unfortunately the polish selection was still what I consider to be slim. Yes, I am nitpicky. Love this place! oh and p.s. you can add a tip to your charge, no scrambling for cash every visit. no more adding tips to the credit card, cash only for a well-deserved tip! read more

They charged 20 for a kids mani/pedi, and she was done in 15 minutes. Awful paint job! Chipped in minutes, and she had paint on her skin. They pretty much refused to do gel nails for me bc "it's so expensive and they break easy"! I had them before and I prefer them. They advertise that they do nail art.., they could not, they refused... Unless I wanted a flower... Bad service. So so disappointed!! read more

I've had acrylics, fills, regular manis, regular pedis, and spa pedis here. All were great. The massage chairs, comfortable stations, hot stones, warm scented towels... Everything is clean and nice. They even have a mini massage chair shaped like some pink animal for when little kids get pedis. I am always able to find a polish color that I like - usually what I have in mind before I go. They may not have many greens or blues or yellows, but those are odd colors, anyways. I have no issue if the techs talk to each other...I like to relax or chat with my friends when I'm there. Plus, small talk is awkward for me, too. But the staff remembers my name, things I have told them when we do talk, and are always pleasant. Prices are great, especially for the way everything comes out. I would recommend this to anyone! read more

I have been going here every time I visit home for about three years now. I like the girls there. They take good care of you. You may make an appointment or do a walk in, appointment is preferred. I come in a lot with my sister and my mother and they take very good care of us. They also offer waxing services. Their prices are fair but your nails and toes always look great when you leave, so it's definitely worth it. It's located in the central part of town so it's very easy to get to. As well as parking is always more than available. They will take payment via credit card but you must bring cash for a tip. They are very strict about that. So make sure you have cash for tip. Otherwise, all the girls are good so I'm not going to name drop. If you have something very specific in mind like a design, I highly recommend bringing in a photo. They work better with images. This is the worst place ever!!! Called to make an appointment, get there to wait 20 minutes, then this girl AMY was the rudest person I've ever met in my life!! She tell me she's taking a bathroom brake, which I understand, but when she's gone for 15 minutes, I got up to leave. That's when one of the other workers went to get her. She sat down and started my nails, and apologize under duress. She proceeded to hurt my nails on purpose!!!! She became hostile, she started to cut my nails after I told her not to, I pulled my hand off and told her to stop... I left immediately!! Not putting up with that, and I will never return to this salon. This business will suffer for sure!! Wish this review had negative stars!! read more

I came here for a pedicure and I couldn't have had a better experience. My sister and I came in about 15 minutes to close, not expecting them to see us but they welcomed us without hesitation. The pedicure itself was great-- they used hot stones which was a first for me and did a great job with the the leg and foot massage. The massage chairs were amazing as well. Though the woman giving me the pedicure did chat with another employee regularly, she made a constant effort to make conversation with me. I didn't mind her talking with another employee because I would rather be relaxing and enjoying the pedicure rather than conversing the entire time. So in summary, Pros: 1. Extremely great customer service 2. Genuinely friendly employees 3. Spotless and relaxing environment 4. AWESOME foot massage/pedicures (with hot stones!)} Cons: 1. Limited color selection 2. Just needed a basic mani, on vaca and forgot my polish to touch up. Should have known when I walked in and the staff was lounging in the waiting area, one girl with no shoes sprawled across the couch. I knew it wouldn't be spectacular, I never go to these type of salons, but this was a nail emergency. The service was hastily done, no massage, extra for the nail polish I picked, opi shine, and was dinged and wavy after I had my hands in the dryer. I will certainly never go to this establishment and immediately texted my nail tech to praise her services:) which btw only cost $3 more! read more

It was my first time at French nails & Spa and I brought 2 friends with me. 2 of us got mani pedis and the other got a Shellac manicure. We let them know it was our first time there and when I got home I thought that what I got charged was alittle steep for what I had done. I looked at the website and found that they overcharged me $10. Also, because they were so quick my nail polish was uneven and thin where you could see my nail through it and the tips of my nails the nail polish started started chipping 4 hours later. :( Not a good experience. I HATE TO GIVE THIS BAD REVIEW. but here is how things were. When they opened, they had new chairs, spiffy (for a nail salon) digs, and it was all ok. A few of the employees were MORE THAN ACCOMMODATING, and gentle and kind, but now it's different. At least from Fall 2013, the chairs were worn out, automatic massage function did not work, I was assigned a sullen (almost morose) "technician" who seemed to be in total pain to be giving me a pedicure. She cut deeply into my toenail, causing a problem later on, she made no effort to give me a leg massage or foot massage because being a pedicurist was just too painful for her, so she both hurt me and failed to give the the whole treatment, all the while I was sitting in a torn, non-functioning chair. My husband had no idea I was getting the'pedicure from hell' and gave a substantial tip for both of us. I am tempted to NEVER GO BACK... BUT in days past, there were wonderful people and quality equipment... they've let it go totally downhill and hired people who should never have been hired. read more

The worst customer service I've ever encountered. The first time I went I made 2 pedicure appointments for myself and a friend. Only one made it into the book. An argument presented itself and I had to wait until my friend finished hers. I returned a few times following with Lily who was rude, silent and rough. However, she did a decent gel manicure. Today I had an appointment and decided to change back to acrylic and once again Lily had an attitude problem. To begin with, when I entered the salon and she was sprawled on the couch and wouldn't acknowledge me. I said hello and she looked the other way. When she decided to go to her station I broached the subject of changing from gel to acrylic. She stated she did not have time to do acrylic so I asked who in the salon could. She became agitated and I asked her why she was always so rude to me. She asked my why I kept coming back! (location was the only reason). She proceeded to speak her language and the remaining techs were staring at me and laughing. Will I go back? Not in my lifetime read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I had a gel manicure and was diagnosed with paronychia (infection of the cutical) one week later. This place should be shut down. this used to be my favorite place to go for years. at first Van (the co-owner) did a wonderful job. my nails were straight (something I am very picky about), didn't lift, and the French was great. she started getting sloppy with her work, as if it was a burden to do my nails. I always tip generously so I really don't understand why. now lilly is the only tech worth seeing and because of that, she is always super busy so you have to call days ahead of when youd like to go. im not an appointment type of person so I will never fault her for that. ken cut the living hell out of my pinky finger and did not even attempt to apologize or offer some sort of discount (I never expect free services, but a discount after needing a tetanus shot would have been nice). not clean at all. I know state board regulations after being a cosmetologist for years, they do not follow basic regulations aside from a dirty autoclave. the same husband and wife also own LV Nails, same with them. I used to go there as well. there are better nail techs out there, but theyre not in either of these locations. go elsewhere. read more
