I genuinely had the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon here. I rarely get my nails done, and I decided to treat myself to a full set since I'm celebrating Thanksgiving in our new home with my family. I don't know all the nail shape names, and I misspoke when I said "coffin" when I meant "almond." Instead of helping me or kindly correcting me, the technician laughed at me and then proceeded to mimic me to her coworkers. They all laughed about it while I was sitting right there. It was embarrassing, unprofessional, and honestly really hurtful. I came in as a new client hoping to feel welcomed, and instead I felt singled out and judged especially when I watched them be friendly and warm with everyone else around me. I can't help but feel it was because I look different than most their customers. We just bought a home in San Elinor and I was excited to find a new salon, but I will absolutely never be coming back. No paying customer should be mocked for something as simple as not knowing nail terminology. Really sad experience. read more

Since last year, this had become my regular spot. During the quarantine, I had been patiently and impatiently waiting for the state to allow them to open. As a person with severe back problems, I can't do my own without hurting my back. So when Andy called to let me know that they were opening last Friday, I was over the moon! I came in and firstly, had my fever checked. Must be wearing a mask which I love. They had every area sectioned off for our and their safety. So the good news is it's easy to walk in, and some of the nail technicians appear to do a good job. But check out this nail polish after only 4 days! The technician was really pushing gel, which I did not want, and after I refused she was visibly frustrated and bungled the rest of the job. You can see the second coat is well short of the first. She left me without helping to put my shoes back on (the technician doing my friend helped) after I only tipped 15%. Frankly between the quality of the job and the lousy attitude I felt like leaving less! I did not get a name (they should wear name tags) but if you are happy with a technician there please let me know as the location is very convenient. TIA. read more

I went in as a walk-in appointment to fill my grown out acrylic set and was so happy with how they turned out! I only waited about 5 minutes before Lily started doing my nails. She was very detailed and made sure to sand off the extra acrylic under and around the nail. She shaped my nails really well and copied the picture I showed her perfectly. It was a bit on the pricey side but the job done made it worth the money. A fill is 36$ but I was charged 46$ due to adding a design. Thank you French Nails and Spa! This was my regular spot, but since covid I wasn't able to go here because it had closed down. I did find a new salon during that time, until this last week. I miss my local nail spot, so I called in the morning to secure an appointment for a full set and pedicure. I definitely missed this place because the service was just the way I left it if not better. I was taken care of as soon as I got there for my appointment. Inside each chair was sectioned off with covid safe containment. Everyone wore masks. They followed strict covid safe protocol. My nails looked great when they were finished. The only thing I would say that was different was the up charge for the gel application on toes. It was a extra $20 just for gel! This is was a little outrageous in price so I decided to not get it. My new fave nail spot! Lily is THE BEST! She's meticulous and thorough. I really love that she doesn't rush and makes sure your nails are perfect. This dip manicure is LEGIT. I didn't catch the name of the tech who did my pedicure but she was also suuuuper thorough. I also really appreciate her verbal instructions as opposed to just tapping my feet. With the pandemic, they make you use hand sanitizer before coming in and take your temperature as well. They've spaced out the stations and have dividers in between each client. I can tell that each tech has built relationships with their clients and it's so awesome to see that. I used to settle for a place that's down the street from my house but I won't anymore! read more

I came here on a Saturday morning with my mom. We booked an appointment ahead of time for two pedicures. This salon is always bustling, and it seems to be a popular spot - we came here per a friend's recommendation. However, our pedicures were just OK; the pedicurists who helped us both cut our nails crooked. At the end of my pedicure, I noticed the nail polish on one of my toes got messed up when the pedicurist was cleaning up. She fixed it, but all she did was add another coat of nail polish (on top of the messed-up nail polish and the topcoat she had already applied). Let me start by saying that I love this nail salon and have been there handful of times and it's been great. but I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I got a pedicure and the nail tech did not clean up my nails at all, made one small clip on my big toe with the clippers, did not file, and did not clean under my nails at all. She took the cuticle clippers and just barely grazed my cuticles almost like she was pretending to actually use the tool, but none of my cuticles were clipped at all. It was bizarre. I paid extra for the 10 minute massage and she massage maybe for about 5 minutes total. She also put a mask on my legs but put the cream on both at the same time but only massaged one leg so by the time she got to the second one, the cream was dry and cracked on my skin. The actual nail polish is splotchy, and my toenails are uneven. Needless to say this was the worst pedicure I've ever experienced and that says a lot because I have gotten quite a bit in my lifetime. I literally had to go home and clean up the mess that was made :( read more

I had to drop a star. 5 stars on nails alone, my acrylic gels look amazing and the place is conveniently close and sanitary. But I must dock down one as the service for bad service is unacceptable. My mother had a horrible experience here where she wasn't satisfied as she felt rushed when she came alone, made fun of and also felt like she was given different treatment compared to preferential treatment she saw. After complaining, either she suggested or they told her to come back in which she refused cuz really who wants bad treatment twice? Long story short, after speaking myself with the owners son. He became upset and did not want to offer anything. I merely stated that since she comes in regularly and came in that day, that perhaps he could offer a gesture of goodwill and maybe offer her a certificate or comp/discount her treatment she had already paid for....he seemed very reluctant and I became the mediator, which as a customer I shouldn't have to do. In the end, I walked away with a free "pedicure" which wasn't really free as it was a rewards card he had given me that other customers get after so many treatments. Also something I wasn't aware of. It was really sad but the service for bad service needs to change. Other than that, everyone else was wonderful. My nail technician was Julie and she did a great job on my nails! I got a gel manicure with almond shaped nails, and white polish with a sparkly top coat. For some reason my nails have been breaking abnormally often. As this set is barely even 2 weeks old I'm not as impressed with the oval shape as I have with coffin. They made them way too thin and my gel polish is chipping on almost all my nails. Very sad because until this set I haven't had a single nail break in 7 months and I am upset the polish isn't lasting at all. read more

Service was AWFUL at French Nails. After stating that I wanted a pedicure, I was asked if I wanted all these other ancillary services. They're just trying to pocket money go figure. No for the millionth time no. I don't want royal spa, scrub, or callus remover. I just want a pedicure. So because I said I wanted a pedicure, that ONLY included nail polish? Poor massage (barely touched). Heel scrub was for a millisecond. I literally looked at her and said "That's it?" To which I was responded "Well, you just requested a pedicure." Doesn't a pedicure include foot soaking, foot scrubbing with a pumice stone or foot file, nail clipping, nail shaping, foot and calf massage, moisturizer and nail polishing? Man, what a waste.
