I haven't been in here for a few years. It used to be, when I was doing a home project, I would…read moreneed some tool or a fastener, and a person would meet me at the aisle and help. Perhaps I needed a certain screw or paint. They would stay until I was done and had what I needed. I always had the impression that the people working there were retired contractor or carpenters picking up extra cash. Tonight I was in a hurry and the cashier told me which aisle to go to. I met a guy there, showed him what I was looking for, except in a somewhat different size. He barely glanced at my item, waved vaguely toward a cabinet and walked away. I managed with a lot of effort to find what I needed. When I got home it was not the right fastener, no surprise. If only this person had spent 5 minutes with me, I'm sure we would have found it, assuming he knew what he was doing. Next time I will go to Home Depot!
