Food price/quality (value) rating 9. We each had a slice of plain cheese pizza, so that's all I can speak to. The slice was large, had high quality cheeses, and a very good quality crust. The slices were very reasonably priced. We sat in their very nice outdoor seating area.

Was taking a drive in dover plains and actually found this place on google, it had three reviews and I couldn't locate it on Yelp so I thought Id try it out. They have way too much going on in this place. They have American Food, Mexican Food, Italian Food, and I think if I'm not mistaken I saw Gyros on the menu. I saw a buffalo pulled pork Burrito (?) and a bbq pulled chicken rice bowl. So on tope of the menu being extremely large, they have what also seems to be a Deli, they also serve Ice cream. When I walked in, the place was a bit smelly I couldn't pin point the exact smell but my guess was between stale water and mildew. they had a lunch menu, specials for average of about $7 each item (whatever entrée you select plus a drink and a side). I got the American cheese burger- onion pickle tomato mayo lettuce and cheese. I didn't like the way the water tasted, fortunately my meal came with a drink so I got a lemonade, of course made with the same water but it disguised the taste a bit. I think the bun was too much bread for the burger that was given but all in all it wasn't extremely bad. I was tempted to by a snickers bar they had near the register but it was $1.50 later that evening I went in to Target and got it for .79c I really can't say that Id be itching to go back to this place but it was OK. The staff was friendly and there didnt seem to be very many other options around, so who nows what may happen in the future.

I stopped into Petraroia Deli on a recent weekday and was immediately charmed by this classic…read moreItalian-style deli tucked into a beautiful old red-brick building. From the moment you see the elegant vintage sign and bright red double doors, you know you're in for something authentic. The interior feels warm and welcoming, with a big, clear menu board that makes ordering easy. They have a solid selection of hot and cold sandwiches, breakfast options, and coffee. I went with one of their specials -- it looked like a chicken cutlet or eggplant variation with fresh greens (possibly arugula), roasted red peppers or similar, and what appeared to be a touch of egg or cheese. Whatever it was, it was excellent. The sandwich came on a perfect crusty Italian roll -- the bread was fresh with a great chew and slight crisp on the outside. The fillings were generous, flavorful, and well-balanced. The greens added a nice peppery bite that cut through the richness of the protein and any sauces. It was one of those sandwiches where every bite tastes just as good as the last. Service was friendly and efficient (the guy behind the counter was busy but still took time to make sure everything was right). The place has that old-school deli atmosphere mixed with modern touches -- exactly what you want when you're craving a quality sandwich. If you're in the area and looking for a no-nonsense, delicious deli sandwich made with care, Petraroia Deli is worth a visit. I'll definitely be back to try more from the hot sandwich list (the Porchetta and Chicken Cordon Bleu both caught my eye). Pro tip: Check their hours -- they appear to be closed on Mondays. *Highly recommend the fried artichoke sandwich. .

I'd honestly give it a 4.5 if that were possible, but since 4 felt too low, I'm rounding up. It was stellar. The spot itself is super quaint, tucked into a charming little rural town that seriously felt like it belonged on a Hallmark movie set. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped us choose our order, which was much appreciated. I went with the classic Italian combo, and it was absolute perfection. Seriously, a sandwich doesn't get better than this. The meat-to-bread ratio was spot on, and the mix of mayo with oil and vinegar added amazing flavor. The bread was just right--chewy enough to have a nice pull, but soft enough that it didn't fall apart or make the sandwich hard to eat. Highly recommend. We also tried the turkey club, which was tasty but not quite as successful due to the ciabatta bread. It was a bit too hard, and the fillings kept sliding out, making it tough to eat. Still, the flavors were great, and I was pleasantly surprised by the mustard. I wasn't expecting it on a club, but it worked well. Overall, would definitely come back!
