First of all the service is so warm and friendly and casual here. A classic deli serving classic deli items as well as some fun Chinese items in the rice bowls which I have yet to try but sound great! I got the Reuben with pastrami on rye with Swiss and it came super dressed up (which I am partial to) and the pastrami is amazing! Tender and soft and savory. Horrible! I will never eat here again, I never come on here an make a review! But I had to this time. This was the worst food I had in a long time! The chicken didn't even taste like chicken, and the sauce wasn't even good at all! The rice taste old and hard... and the broccoli was so salty I couldn't even eat it! Their local cable commercials had my interest peaked, so I stopped in today. Wow - the commercials are fun, but the food is excellent. I'm not sure if it was a special or not, but one of the staff recommended the fish fry and I loved it. Tasted fresh and was perfectly prepared. As promised on air, the chili was also excellent. OMG. Went to three local businesses to get prices on a tray of chicken- baked beans- antipasto Salad. Well , one business when asked how many pieces the 99$ would give- they didn't know , as they just dump them in a pan. No one got up or even looked at me!!!! BYE... the second.... Service was not great, waited for a while to be seen . Got disgusted and left. so I never got a price. I went to Morbeto's. Didn't know they catered! Maggie came out immediately.,sat down with me. Have been going to this sub shop for years since it originally opened with the family who it's named after. Great selection of subs, and sandwiches both traditional deli style as well as hot subs. Just recently stopped in to grab a couple subs for my wife and myself for dinner. I picked up the classic Italian while my wife went with her favorite chicken salad. Subs were prepared fresh - with your choice of toppings, and choice of cheese to top off the sandwich with. Topped off with a well balanced meat/cheese to toppings ratio. Definitely a local classic since I was a kid. Always worth stopping and grabbing either a quick sandwich for lunch rush or picking up a sub for dinner. Recommend giving them a try if you have not done so yet. read more

My wife has been wanting to try them out since new owners came in and starting advertising on local cable heavily. One of the items advertised was fried dough, sort of like a big zeppole, I guess. We stopped in, and she tried to order it. First she was told they don't make it. When she mentioned their TV ad, he said, "Not tonight, sweetheart" as rudely as you could imagine. As we were getting into our car, the clerk came running out the door and asked us if we needed anything. I owned a deli in NYC for twenty years... AMAZING subs I got the pepperoni sub and some fried cheesecake..yup, that's right! It was soo worth it. Flavors on point! So good that I ate it too fast to take any pictures. Ahh Morabitos, the quintessential working man or woman's sub shop, and one of my faves. Actually aside from Amore's Pizzeria in Queens they have the best meatball subs ever. What also impresses me are their daily specials like house roasted turkey breast or charbroiled London broil. So good. Soups taste homemade and they sometimes have more than one available which is nice. On Fridays they've got Mac and Cheese. Seriously you need to go try some with pepperoni on top! I stop here when I can before work and pick up a sub that lasts me all night. Overall great deli, friendly service and tasty options you should check out. read more

NOTHING IS FRESH MADE ON SITE!! "Their" own admission. They Microwave everything instead. The $9 Rubin was chewy, because they microwave the meat, and soggy by the time I got to the car in the parking lot making the paper wrapper dissolve and blend with the bread. There were no ovens for any hot sandwich. Everything was microwaved rubbery, or barely toasted in a countertop pop-up toaster. Save yourself the money and microwave your own aldi meats instead of eating this stuff. They were in a rush to take my money yet nobody was "qualified" to issue a refund for a disgusting inedible sloppy soggy mess. Refusing to issue refunds until a later date is bad for business, especially when traveling far from home. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone under any circumstances. Ever. A complete and total mistake. Mac Donald's would have been a better choice with higher quality meats and service. Keep that in mind before settling for less and paying ridiculous prices for trash. read more
