It is a bustling restaurant with a good menu full of option from sweet treats like stuffed French toast, to savory make your own scramble bowls with lots of choices for toppings. The service was great and even though they were busy the wait wasn't long at all. We will definitely look to try them again if we are on the area. Thank you to Erika who treated us to our meal. My friend ordered the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and it was delicious! I wasn't sure about the combination but I was pleasantly surprised. I'll have to come back on my next visit to see what's on the specials menu and get another one of their juices.

Called Saturday afternoon for reservations for that night was told they didn't didn't do same day reservations but in the past we had. Called Fresh Chef in Statesville And asked if they took same day reservations they did and we went that night, your loss Conover. read more

The food came out relatively quick but not as we ordered and the soup was cold. We explained it to the waitress and she went for the manager. We explained the issues to the manager and he didn't offer a suitable resolution. So we declined and left. This is untypical of this chain even amongst various locations. The staff seem to be new and inexperienced. Longhorn is a successful chain restaurant and we happily spend our money but expect quality food and professional service. It would not have hurt for the manager to apologize for the mistakes and promptly remove the incorrect order and offer to replace it and perhaps free of charge to keep long time customers satisfied. But not this time. I'm sure this was likely a one time happening, but if this happens again we will likely remove Longhorn from our choice of restaurants.
