On top of that, my cat must have been upset she wasn't invited, because a couple days after we returned home, she had a seemingly intentional accident in very close proximity to the dress. Although the dress was in a bag at the time, both the dress and the veil ended up with a slight odor to them. After that, I decided it was time to look into cleaning options. I had already been to Five Star in the past, so I used the Yelp project feature to reach out to them as well as a few other cleaners in the Sacramento area. They were very responsive and their pricing to clean and preserve the dress was very reasonable, so I decided to go with them. The turnaround time for cleaning was about a week, which is exactly what they estimated. They showed me the dress before it was boxed so I could confirm it was properly cleaned. There were no more mud stains, and the odor was completely gone! After I inspected the dress, they asked me to come back in a day or two after they had time to box it. It was wedding and prom season, so they were a little busy, and I told them I was in no rush to get the dress back. I went back a few days later and picked up a large box. There was an outer, regular, storage box and inside was a large preservation box that had a display window. It looked great! Oh, and to top it all off, I had originally only inquired about cleaning and boxing for the dress, but when I asked how much it would be to add the veil, they included it for free! Thank you!!

Mike called and says he doesn't see anything and that I am making things up and they would not refund me or compensate for the damaged shirt. He proceeded to say this has always been their policy to not pay for damaged garments. I quote "we are not up to your standards don't bring us your white shirts".... My standard being, don't damage a brand new shirt and then not take responsibility. At one point Mike told me to return it to Macy's. Unethical business practices. When I show up in-person to speak with Mike he changes his tune and admits to now being able to see the marks! But they won't do anything further to replace the shirt. I have been going here for 4 years and have never had to bring back a single item to be cleaned again. I would suggest to anyone who cares about their professional or delicate clothing to avoid this group as they do not take responsibility for their mistakes and based on other reviews I am not the first.

I like that they have some machines that take card for payment. I took cash just in case but was so happy to not need it. They have a variety of sizes of washing machines and dryers. I have not been to the laundromat in over twenty years, happy that it was a pleasant experience. They had rolling carts to assist in transporting your laundry as well as counter space to fold it all. It was nice to be able to do multiple loads all at once. I'd definitely return, thinking it would be a great place to wash our comforters.

Also, why couldn't they notify us that they couldn't clean the stain? Refund or not, my husband didn't even receive an apology. I believe that was unprofessional as they are providing a service. Last week, I came on a Wednesday afternoon and requested a Friday return date for 1 dress and they did it. The cost was $15. I even have them dry clean my travel Beis backpack and it comes back looking brand new. WARNING: Parking can be tough sometimes! This plaza is not the biggest but they have a dedicated parking spot just for them so I've been able to snag that front space most of the time but be prepared to park a little farther, especially if you're arriving during lunch time as there's restaurants around.

Do not come here!!!…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. I brought in a white Aritzia suit that had been worn once. There was one small mark on it, and I was told it could be taken care of. Instead, I got the suit back covered in gray and black marks throughout the garment. To be clear, I dropped off a suit with one minor issue and got back a suit covered in new ones. I picked it up, drove straight home, and as I was hanging it in my closet I started noticing mark after mark after mark. I immediately called because I was genuinely shocked by what I was seeing. They didn't care! No resolve! What is most frustrating is that nobody mentioned a thing when the suit was returned to me. A white suit covered in dark marks does not magically end up that way after leaving the store. Someone should have noticed. Someone should have said something. $400 and it had been worn once.... I trusted professionals to care for it, and it was returned in significantly worse condition than when I dropped it off. Now I have to take it to another cleaner and hope they can undo whatever happened here because I no longer trust this business to touch the garment again. Take your clothing elsewhere!!

for people complaining about not getting rush alterations ..we're sorry we couldn't do it for you 'on your timeline'..our seamstress is 80yrs old and she physically cannot do all the work we get in. we have to turn down alteration work because we simply cannot do it physically. we will try our best to satisfy all customers..all the backed up alterations are also for customers who are in a rush. we have to do the work in order they came in. But our seamstress has always tried to accommodate last min rush jobs as much as possible but again she's in her 80s n sometimes she physically cannot do all the work. For people who felt like the old ladies were being rude on the phone..we apologize but please have patience of things that can be lost in translation. we are a small family owned business n ladies up front don't speak English very well. but please know that we are always trying our best to do the best for our customers. we try our best but sometimes accidents n mistakes happen and we are super thankful for your understanding. for people who are not understanding..we will try our best to remedy the situation within our company policies.we just ask for reasonable solution. We are not active on social media so it's hard to defend ourselves when people use platforms like this to complain..but I hope people can try to find out for themselves how we really do business instead of reading reviews of some unfortunate interaction. read more

I came here out of desperation for alterations. The job wasn't that great but it was passable for the time being. To be honest, I could do a better job myself with a simple home sewing machine. I would compare it to the cheap Chinese shops on the other side of sac except it's not cheap here. When I went to pick up the trousers,the price doubled. I received no phone call and there was no mention of this when I dropped them off. I had no choice but to pay as I had a flight to catch. In what world would this be acceptable? It's not overly complicated--you go in, tell them you're dropping off, and they'll tell you whether they need to charge you extra for material that needs special care. I was greeted by a very sweet Korean auntie who was working the shop by herself. I felt bad coming in 20 mins before closing but figured it was okay since the point of the dry cleaners is for you to drop it off anyway. She inspected my gf's suede and pleather jacket and said those two she'd have to charge $65 for but then bumped it down to $45 each. I got on the phone with my gf to ask if that was okay, but she changed her mind. So then I told the lady it was okay, to just dry cleaners the other 2 jackets that were more straightforward. She was very sweet, she let me know that her niece (I think her name was Jeen) was going to be working on Thursday and to ask her if I could get a discount for the suede and pleather jacket. I told her thank you and paid with credit card. The subtotal was $31.50 for the two jackets and with the fee, total was $32.60. Like a previous review said--she didn't warn beforehand of the 3.5% credit card fee but it's to be expected of a mom and pop place. I'm not incredibly upset about that. Will update the review upon pickup. Hopefully everything turns out okay.

Stephanie, whom I normally interact with, is just delightful. She'll greet by name each visit and is always attentive for all needs. Pricing is affordable IMO. One blazer costs less than $9.00 Again, in my line of biz.... reputation, image, appearance. This location has proven that they care about detail, quality, and investment of clothes brought to them.

Picked up the jacket 8 days later and realized the safety pin marking one of the rips was still there and the rip hadn't been fixed. Had to bring it back and wait an additional 8 days for them to do it. The attention to detail isn't there. I don't write one star reviews but this one is warranted. Avoid.
