I am petrified of the Dentist. I have had issues with my teeth since I was kid and have had tons of horrible experiences but with that being said, Lorena and her team are the bomb! Doctor Lorena Herrera and the entire staff made me feel like I was at home with friends not at a dental office. I promise you that it is impossible to find a better dentist than Dr. Herrera. I don't like going to the dentist. So, I haven't- for years. That meant an emergency visit also required catch-up. My anxiety was going through the roof. Talking with Dr. Herrera immediately made that go down. She was very empathetic from her own experiences. Since writing this review I have been personally contacted by the dentist herself. They cared enough to review this unlike some other places. So kudos for that. I plan to sort this out in the next few days and will provide an update at that time. I switched to this place recently. This place should get 5 stars on customer service and experience. The staff is friendly and attentive. The dentist (mine was Loretta) explains everything she sees in your report and takes the time to break it down for you. However, I am quite unimpressed with their hygienist. She is sweet but seems inexperienced. Probably the worst hygienist experience I have ever had. I have generally healthy teeth, no cavities etc. Usually after a cleaning I can feel the difference, no gum bleeding for a long time. But unfortunately not this time. Before I started coming to Fresh Dental, I hadn't been to see a Dentist for many years. I had a really bad experience with a Dentist at an office in Highland Park and had been gun shy to see one ever since. However, at the persistence of my lovely wife, I made an appointment here for a much overdo cleaning. The first thing I want to mention about Fresh Dental is how flexible their scheduling is. They work with your schedule to make sure that you are fit in. They also set you up with email and text reminders to make sure that you come in when you're scheduled. The staff is all very friendly and helpful to get you seen with the best customer service you can expect. Dr. Amber Guirguis is probably the best Dentist I have seen in my adulthood. She is very clear about explaining everything that is going on in plain English, constantly asks if you are comfortable, and delivers top level work for your teeth. Fresh Dental was a great choice when I decided to change dentists to one closer to my home. The front office staff is awesome,professional and treated me like my business was valuable. Dr. Guirguis was very thoughtful in her approach to assessing my concerns and discussing what shes sees in my xrays & photos. Everyone at this office has been really nice. I had my deep scale cleaning there and they were really nice. They let you know of costs and process before they proceed. I am so grateful. I had never before been to Fresh Dental and I had an emergency. I did have an appointment about three weeks out, but my bridge fell out in the afternoon. They got me in the next morning. Dr. Lorena and her sweet staff efficiently and sweetly glued that bridge back. Funny thing; while working on me she told her assistant, "Now push." For just a fraction of a second, I thought she was talking to me. No one has told me that since I last gave birth 42 years ago. I had a great experience at this dentist. I hadn't been to the dentist in years (I know, not good) so I was freaking out about going, but from the beginning it was good. When I made my appt, they asked me questions about what I expected and what I did and didn't want to encounter at my appt. I appreciated that because my biggest concern was that I was going to be lectured about not having been in a while. When I got there, they went over my questions and answers with me in person and the team was all told what I did and didnt want, my concerns etc. Both the hygienist and the Dr. Imadomwanyi were great in telling me what they were doing, what they saw, and what they were talking about. In terms of billing, everything was laid out clear to me on additional costs - which I had due to my lack of going recently. I got to approve the charges and I also made the decision of things I didn't want to do that day. I had my procedures, including a deep cleaning and it was great. Overall, I have no complaints and would recommend them to others. They listened to what I had to say and made my experience pleasant, which is great because I was not excited about going. read more

Horrible staff and phone manners. Got a letter stating a have an overdue balance and they have tried contacting me numerous times and if I don't pay in five days they will give it to a collection agency. First, this was the first I was hearing of an overdue balance and I haven't gone here in two years. When I called, they simply stated this is from a June 2011 visit, over two years ago, and that I must pay now. When I asked what this was for because my insurance should of covered it the insurance obviously didn't cover it or I wouldn't of received a bill. II then contacted my insurance and they said they paid the full claim for my June visit and that I don't owe anything. When I called back to let the dentist know, the person on the phone thought I had asked about some other claim and was you still have a balance and we will be sending it to a collection agency. When I told her I would contact my lawyer she said she would contact the insurance company herself. Don't ever go here. I spend the last two weeks talking to these people and they wondered why I never came back after Dr. Michelle Ray left. read more

Absolutely the very best experience I've ever had at the dentist. Dr. Guirguis and her team are true professionals--and, frankly, just delightful to be around. The whole office has a very positive atmosphere. They were all very helpful with answering my questions--the front desk office manager was incredibly thorough with getting verification through my insurance on what exactly was covered (which really put me at ease). The RDA was very detailed and discussed all of my X-rays with me so that I knew exactly what was going on with my teeth. The doctor offered a lot of excellent advice regarding my gums and sensitive teeth. This was important to me because I could tell that she cared about my dental work, and was willing to take the time to explain what I could do to improve my health.
