I had a virtual consult with Dr Jodee and then I had an in-person appointment with her. She is very kind and takes her time to explain the science behind treatment. The appointment was great. Then I had another virtual consult for ZO skincare with Taylor and I got great recommendations. I have been using the products for almost a week and I'm happy with the skin care regimen so far. Ok so first off I read that 1 star review from 11/2020 and jeez. Give me a break. Take that review with a large grain of salt. Basically the gist of my review: love this place, they've helped me clear up my melasma and I am so grateful. I work with Taylor and she is so freaking fabulous at her job, professional and down to earth. It's my only self care ritual I have and I would never go anywhere else for it. It's EASY to make appts, easy to cancel, and easy to re-schedule, if you just do it all online. They are less available via phone and email. But hi folks.. it's a pandemic? Full review: I admit I had a hard time getting in contact with them via phone ONE time (I called wanting to ask a retinol question and left a voicemail but I didn't get a call back), but please understand they're super busy w smaller staff onsite and backlogged appts dt covid. AND it's pretty normal to make an appt with your CC number... I don't know what skincare hair care etc place doesn't do that these days. Also it's so easy to make appts with them. You can do it online in two seconds. If you try to do it on the phone, it's honestly hit or miss. I think they're just super busy. But honestly it's not a big deal to me because I signed up online for a consult, during consult I was told what skincare tx I should sign up for, they signed me up and got me my three appts. Boom. Done. Easy and v professional. Anyway I love love love this place. They really took care of me. I'm intimidated by beauty salons and have never done anything to my skin but here they are so sweet, very down to earth, smart and professional. All the employees are also really chill and calm, vibe is super friendly and welcoming, and the skin care master that has worked with me, Taylor, is so awesome. Not only super nice, we did a few sessions of laser and I've honestly never been so happy with my skin since I started struggling with melasma. About six months ago I went in to have two small broken capillaries on my face removed. I was advised that it would likely take at least two treatments for them to completely clear, but that the $200 I had paid for the removal would cover the first two appointments. After the first session, one of the spots was almost completely gone, but the second had only decreased slightly in diameter. I returned for my second session about 4 weeks later, expecting to see some improvement in the second spot. The treatment this time had little effect. After waiting several weeks for it to heal I attempted to call fresh faces to request a third appointment. Having been advised that any appointments after the second would not be covered by the initial amount I paid, I was ok with paying for consecutive sessions, so in the voicemail I requested a price quote. I received an auto generated text response from the business they said they would get back to me soon. Several weeks went by and I never heard back from them, so I tried calling again. Same auto-text, no return call. It's now June and I just don't feel like calling over and over again to get this resolved so I'm covering the spot with makeup until I find another clinic. As a side note, the greeter/receptionist was friendly, but the person who did my treatment seemed disengaged and a bit unenthusiastic about being there. The first appointment, I thought maybe she was just having a bad day, but on the second it was the same story. I felt like I was trying hard to make conversation with her because the alternative of silence was super awkward. read more

From beginning to end, my visit to Fresh Faces RX was a lovely and safe experience. Waiting in my car and being greeted at the door with temp check, sanitizer, and Covid-safety forms is always a reassuring way (these days) to start an appointment, knowing that the provider is taking everyone's health and safety seriously. The high ceilings and bright office and treatment rooms feel safe, private, and comfortable but still seem to offer lots of air circulation. (All the plants are nice too.) Nurse Jessika was incredibly kind and very knowledgeable. Before we started she made sure to go over my expectations, the results I could expect, and the potential side effects from the injections - as an anxious person this was SO HELPFUL. She also walked me through everything she was going to do in order to make me comfortable and continued to explain what she was doing as she did it, which made the experience much less scary. After finishing, Meghan at the front desk (who is also super kind, this is clearly a theme), helped me schedule a follow-up appointment. Just two days later, the swelling is almost gone and my under-eye circles are so much more smooth and less dark! Male patient here, late 50's. I've had Botox and laser removal of blemishes performed at my Dermatologist's offices and Botox from my primary care physician. Fresh Faces performed these two procedures, plus laser removal of prominent veins in my nose and fillers in my 'frown lines.' Same products, same techniques, dramatically different results. Dramatically different pain level. Dramatically different personal care and respect. Yes, the cost at Fresh Faces was a bit more, but don't conflate the price of tools with the value of craftsmanship. No doubt there's a lot of self-image issues in play anytime you make a commitment to have aesthetic work done. Expectations can vary from none to extremely unrealistic. Reviewer "Jennifer A" is correct in surmising that my positive review is a reaction to her negative review, but otherwise not very reflective of the overwhelmingly enthusiastic recommendations that brought me here, that I've made to others, and that people I've sent have reported back. While I'm surprised that a problem has been reported, you just can't please everyone - and a YELP war is a poor tool to seek resolution. Best of luck to her in realizing her desires. A reasonable and equitable solution is usually available to reasonable and equitable persons. Meanwhile, we all have to make informed choices regarding who we trust. When I make a recommendation, my own reputation is wrapped up in the abilities of the company or person I'm supporting.
