If you don't mind paying for service you won't receive, have no problem with your clothes being washed and stored with strangers laundry, aren't that fond of your clothing and won't mind when it gets lost, enjoy discovering other people's clothing in your order (ooh it's like secret Santa!) Are cool with having no idea what you paid for because that itemized receipt promised BEFORE service never showed up, don't mind apps that aren't fully functional, and have no issue when the owner of the company doesn't honor his own policies, then this is the service for you! I have an enormous wardrobe. It's copious to say the least. I'm in the process of packing it all up after finding out that the whole-home renovation done a couple years ago caused more harm than good and has to be redone entirely. If you've read my last few reviews, you'd know that I have the worlds worst back. Its been through emergency surgery and lots of epidurals, but I belong in a bell tower somewhere tormenting the local villagers. Anyway, in an attempt to manage time and the stress of this impending sudden move without throwing my back out entirely, I had to outsource the laundry-doing. iClean came on time, the driver was friendly, but he was supposed to bring laundry bags to separate the dry cleaning from the fluff and fold. He didn't have any, so he took my nylon hamper bags with my order. No big deal, assumed that they'd give them back when my order was ready. I had the order delivered to a storage facility nearby where it stayed for a week while emergent repairs had to get done. After I picked it up to pack it up, I noticed I had 8-9 items that didn't belong to me. So, I wrote to iClean so they could get these items back to their owner(s) and to ask them why my laundry bags weren't returned. They responded that they have my bags and can drop them off. Then I noticed that I was missing one of my Ugg robes entirely, and while the other 3 were returned, they no longer have the belts, which is only important if you want to keep your robe closed. I got a response back that said: "We ask our customers to report any lost items within the 24 hours after delivery so we may resolve the issue. After 24 hours it makes it very difficult for us to locate any items unless its in our lost and found." This was over 70 lbs of clothing. A service that caters to people who don't have time or physically can't handle doing their laundry themselves expects their customers to dig through, unpack, and look for problems within 24 hours or they're just S.O.L.? Chris, the rep. who I was e-mailing with, didn't care about the other persons belongings that I was trying to return, so of course he couldn't care less about losing my belongings while charging me for their cleaning. For the record, their website has their policies on it. Chris's 24 hour window to play a game of "not it!" isn't at all remotely close to what was promised. I'll post the screen shots from their website that outline their policies; meaning the contract we entered into was based on the promise of quality measures being taken and in the event that they aren't, fair compensation will be made available. I never even got my laundry bags back. Someone tried to give me someone else's filthy bags, which I didn't accept. So, even the stuff Chris told me they have hasn't been returned. I just sent out all of my dry-cleaning to a similar service, a much larger order (over $700) to CleanPeople. They have been outstanding and I highly recommend them. Update 7/27/2018: At this point I would go without food rather than do my own laundry in a smelly laundromat. I have used them regularly since my review, and I couldn't do this laundry better if I were in a huge house with my own washer and dryer. The clothes are so clean, so soft, so well-folded, and the service is so easy to use. Do yourself a favor and try them. You'll never go back to doing your own laundry. Original review: First I moved into an apartment with a sketchy laundry room down some rickety stairs with one washer and one dryer that cost $2 to spit some water on your clothes and barely dry them. Then, I broke my ankle. So I needed fluff and fold (laundry service). And I'm allergic to perfume. So I can't have just any fluff and fold service pick up and deliver my clothes. I've been searching for two weeks for a service that not only uses fragrance-free, but will wash my clothes in a machine that hasn't had fragrance in it (that chemical perfume is so strong it clings to the machines and gets on your clothes; when you stop using fragrance your sense of smell comes back and you realize these things). Clean does not have a scent; clean is clean. What I didn't expect was to find a service that not only was fragrance-free throughout the facility, but is also an incredible business model and an efficient, thorough, and cheerful service. Like, they are great even without the fragrance free. You download an app to your phone (yes, this is 2018), select a few things, put in your preferences (if you have any like my anal-retentive NO FRAGRANCE issues), and the app notifies you when someone is on their way to pick up your laundry. And they arrived when they said they would. And my clothes were returned when they said they would be (24 hours later, but you can pick the time). And there's no fragrance. And they're clean. And I got a nifty laundry bag to use the next time. Okay but how DO you fold a fitted sheet like that? Yes, everything was folded perfectly (I will figure out fitted sheets someday). Shout out to David my driver and the guy I spoke with on the phone (sorry forgot your name!) who did not laugh at my no-fragrance hysteria. This place is the 21st century of fluff and fold. I'm not sure where to even begin. I've been staying at a hotel for the past two weeks, so desperately needed laundry done and as we ALL know, hotel laundry is BEYOND expensive. So I went on trusty YELP and the first place I called said my stuff wouldn't be ready until Thursday (2/1), when I called Monday (1/29) morning. Way too long for me Next call was to IClean and thank G-d!!! Called Monday (1/29), Chris said will be picked up that day and delivered by Tuesday (1/30) including my dry cleaning. And it was!!! (And pickup and delivery is FREE) I also have skin allergies and Chris assured me everything they use is hypoallergenic. Plus, I left directions of what I like being hang dried and washed in cold. Totally came out exactly how I like. BUT HERE'S WHERE THE REALNESS HAPPENS AND WHY WHEN I'M IN LA I WILL ONLY USE ICLEAN. Chris dropped off my stuff when he said he would on Tuesday (1/30). When I got back to my hotel from work I was told by hotel that my laundry was in my closet. When I got upstairs....my dry cleaning was there, but not my bag of folded laundry. I called Chris "after hours" to make sure it was delivered, he answered and he so nicely said yes. I then call the hotel and they can't find my stuff ANYWHERE. Needless to say I start to panic. Chris "stayed" with me the entire time of 2HRS! before the hotel found my laundry in SOMEONE else's room. Chris is what I call a true caring patient real human being. He went as far as to call the hotel to help solve the mystery because I was so overwhelmed at that point and it was after hours. This was totally on his time! I'm of mixed minds right now. One part of me wants to give iClean a terrible review SO NO ONE ELSE FINDS OUT HOW GREAT IT IS. The other side of me is so impressed by the service I can't help but give it a glowing review. I moved to a new apartment in a small building, and my landlord is in the process of installing a shared laundry room. So, stranded without a washer/dryer, I didn't know what to do with my growing pile of dirty laundry. I also needed to find a new dry cleaner for my growing pile of dry cleaning. I found iClean on Yelp and, in all honesty, was a bit hesitant to use the service given the sparse online reviews. I'm a suspicious person. But I'm also lazy! And, lucky for me, my laziness won out. The app can be a bit finicky on my iPhone (it'll say the driver missed the pickup and state the order was re-scheduled for the next day -- but I just ignore that). I'm sure the kinks will get worked out, but the concept of the app is fantastic and it works well despite that minor hiccup. I can schedule the pick up and drop off on my phone. A nice young man (Chris) comes to my place to pick up the clothes. The next day, I get a detailed receipt emailed to me (with my credit card on file) and the clothes are returned in the specified time frame by the same gentleman. It's amazing. The laundry smells great. The dry cleaning looks brand new. I haven't had any serious stains on the dry cleaning, so I can't comment on difficult dry cleaning. But I am pretty much in love with this service, especially the convenience and the level of professionalism. Once the washer/dryer is installed, I suspect I'll continue to use iClean, because this service has measurably improved my quality of life. read more

I got to say, I don't usually write Yelp reviews much any more but I use iClean every week for all of my dry cleaning and they are by far the best dry cleaning experience I've had. Pros: The app is pretty easy to use, the customer service is next level; I've never had a company treat me so well. I screw up all the time and forget to buzz them in or I'm not near my phone and they are always so chill about it and make accommodations for my negligence. Cons: It's a bit more expensive than a regular dry cleaner, but the convienience of the process + the 24 hr turnaround is more than worth the extra couple dollars (plus no delivery fee). read more

I regret to have to write this less than stellar review but after using this service for nearly 2 years I will report the cleaning service is good as is the delivery. The problem has been with repeated errors with my bill and which items are sent for dry cleaning or laundry. The last time I called about pieces which were laundered instead of dry cleaned I was told:"I don't see what your problem is." That was it for me. This on demand dry cleaning and laundry app was created by some young guy who really knows how to stick to his word. What I like about using this service, unlike other dry cleaning apps, is that you always have the same driver (familiar face) picking up your dry cleaning. This helps build my trust. Also, I always get my clothes back the next day and the company gives you nice green garmento bags to reuse. Lastly, I really love how well they took care of my clothes. One of my expensive blouses was black and white and had a tag that said it was for dry cleaning, so I threw it in there. The owner of iClean called to tell me that the black and white will run if they dry clean it, but he can hand wash the blouse instead. Try them out! You won't regret it. read more

I can honestly say this because I've been using them - weekly - for almost a year now. The app is easy to use and makes scheduling & payment a breeze. Prices are great too - they are less than their competitors and provide better quality service. Our clothes always come back clean and soft. We requested fragrance free detergent - and that's what we actually get! The people at "Rinse" - a competitor - never got that request correct. Thank you for always doing a wonderful job on my bedding laundry! All of the white quilts, duvets, and blankets look bright and clean again. Its so nice to be able to have it picked up at our apartment door, rather than schlepping it to a laundromat and sitting there for hours. Our Crate & Barrel duvet is specifically high maintenance, because it's a delicate gauze fabric, it picks up stains easily from skin oils and lotions, AND the biggest problem is that it cannot be machine dried... how can any person line dry a queen-sized duvet in a city apartment?? When the cleaner was running late, about 15/20 min, the company communicated well after I checked in and apologized for any inconvenience. If you need help with your laundry this is the service to use! I used Rinse in the past and they would loose items all the time, mix them with those of other customers, the clothes would never really smell good and stains where never taken care of. Also they have a "rush fee" if you want your laundry delivered the next day. None of this applies to iClean. You get your laundry perfectly folded the next day without any fee and the wash&fold costs about 15% less than Rinse. Great customer service! Absolutely recommended! read more
