I was underwhelmed by the açaí bowl. It's okay but a bit of an unimpressive presentation. Probably not going to come back again. Good aircon. No bathroom. The person serving us had low energy.
I ordered the Green Machine for myself and a Fireman for my hair stylist. The Green Machine was delicious and tasted fresh. I had no wait time. My order was ready in minutes after I paid the cashier. There is limited bar stool seating and no restroom. The cashier was professional and courteous. The open kitchen was nice, you see how clean and fast the employees are working. I'll definitely stop by again when I get my hair done.
My sister is obsessed with Fresh From Hell (rightfully so) and we had an Açaí bowl and juice every morning we were in town. I loved the Double Dare Devil (no peanut butter), the chia, hemp, and flax seeds were amazing additions that I don't usually get! The C+ juice was delicious and the perfect antidote for the cold I was coming down with.
I'm always on a hunt for a healthy green smoothie and found this place one day when I was walking around. It is a small café with not a lot of seating, but the staff was incredibly sweet and service was very quick. My smoothie was delicious and I enjoyed it. It definitely had a fresh fruit and vegetable taste and the best part is, it tasted natural. Definitely had a fresh fruit and vegetable taste and not like other places with overly sweetened smoothies with added sugars.

Really good & extremely fresh. I stopped here for a quick breakfast while in Hells Kitchen and this place didn't disappoint. Staff was very friendly too. Inside is small but does have sitting but there is patio furniture outside so you can enjoy the beautiful weather, which is what I did.
I was looking for a morning pick me up. Looking boba, or something refreshing, so I discovered this place by accident. It's kinda blended in, as it's mixed in with dwelling units. Everything made fresh. I picked WTH... drink delicious drink mixed with some greens and other fruits that I now forgot what's in it. They are friendly, but slooooooow!!! I dont know what system they are using but it's outdated. If they even have one, as the employees had to keep coming to the POS register, to look at orders. Some people were complaining about long wait time. I waited 20 minutes for my drink. It's a very small place, so consider of taking yours to go. They are kinda like Playa Bowls but not as fancy. Despite my long wait time, Ill definitely return, cuz my shake was expensive but good. Friendly employees in NYC, is a plus for me. There's a lot of places in NYC we're places serve a side of NYC attitude and sass and I don't have time for that. 5 stars... I just hope next time they are faster with orders.
I'm from SoCal and I was craving for a clean green juice! This place is it. It also has amazing açaí bowls to satisfy your healthy cravings in the morning. Really easy to find and the staff was welcoming and helpful on what you should get. I would highly recommend coming back here.
Came here because I wanted to try a new smoothie/açaí bowl place (I always go to juice generation). The place is small with a few seats. Upon entering, I was greeted with blank stares (no hello). The menu posted on the wall doesn't include all the options. I only saw the açaí bowls when I opened the paper menus on the side. I ordered the probiotic booster bowl, which comes with greek yogurt on the top (something I've never tried and I'm a fan now!). Overall, price and taste are similar to other smoothie places but I don't think I'll be coming back because I like my açaí bowls to have the consistency of a smoothie but this one was more icy.
Fresh From Hell is a small smoothie and açaí bowl spot in Hell's Kitchen. The restaurant is easy to find. Very small inside. It gets busy and there can be no room to sit and even wait for your order to be ready. They have a lot of options. The only thing that I was a little disappointed about was the granola which we had to exclude from the smoothie bowl because they were not sure that it was gluten free. The staff were friendly. The service was quick. We tried the Green Machine and What the Hell smoothie, as well as the Hawaiian Lover açaí bowl. They were refreshing, thick, creamy, and full of flavor. The fruit was fresh and the coconut was crunchy. The perfect texture combination. Fresh From Hell was a great option for hot summer New York days.
This is a great place to get a smoothie or an acai bowl. A lot of healthy options here. The smoothies we had were delicious. This is a very small place. Not much room inside for sitting around. It has a nice big window facing the school across the street. Best part of all right next-door is an amazing espresso. Shop the best of both worlds in one spot. Acai base is too sweet and I wish it was less so. The container is shallow and portion could be larger for a $13 breakfast. Also there should be more peanut butter given a $3 upcharge. Overall I'm pleased there is an acai place in the neighborhood, but some improvements could be made. read more

Visited while in New York. The juices are freshly made on site. I had the Fireman that consisted of Carrot, ginger, beet, pineapple, orange. The juice was delicious. I would recommend and would visit again. read more
We were looking for a healthy breakfast and this place is the definition of healthy with a catchy name. The name was derived from the neighborhood's name. Contrary to its name, this place has food and juices that come from heaven, guilt free healthiness. I came in as they opened and chatted with the owner, as I found the place intriguing. The menu is full of healthy choices with smoothie and fresh juice names that complement, like Flu Shot and Liquid Salad. I went with the Flu Shot fresh juice, which included kale, parsley, spinach, celery, cucumber, lemon, apple and ginger. It was really delicious and freshly made to order. I also ordered the Toasted Sprouted Bagel, which was made with sprouted wheat with cashew cream cheese and marinated cucumber. Update: Went back the morning after, and there was an older gentleman working- very nice. Unfortunately, can't say I had the same delicious bowl as I had the previous morning. Toppings all looked great, but I noticed immediately that the Acai looked to have more liquid. This Acai tasted almost disgustingly sweet- and if you e had straight up Acai, you know there's definitely no sweetness to it, until blended with a banana. This one tasted like it was a smoothie, mixed with a juice (my guess is apple juice). So while I loved my bowl yesterday, consistency matters to me, because I wouldn't have come back if I had this bowl the first time. Maybe you like more sweetness, in which case you won't have a problem. Would stop in again if the guy who was working the previous day was there. Great experience! I got the Classic Acai Bowl- it has a great thick Acai base (not the smoothie type base mixed with apple juice/tons of other sugary ingredients) definitely tasted fantastic. During my time in Times Square, I really enjoyed finding this shop walking distance from my hotel (Intercontinental Times Square). I love a healthy and light meal for breakfast and this place delivered just that! I ordered a Toasted Sprouted Bagel with cashew cream cheese and marinated cucumbers and a Super Smoothie. The bagel was savory and light, with just the perfect amount of tanginess from the marinated cucumbers. The smoothie was filling and I love that they make they use their homemade almond milk. I'll start off by saying that the owners are so wonderful. They were both present when my friends and I stopped in for lunch. The entire menu was explained to us. They were so friendly and happy to have us as customers. My salad was great and priced as expected. The restaurant itself is very tiny. Seems like they do a ton of delivery orders. Conveniently located in Hell's Kitchen on 47th Street between 8th & 9th Ave. They have lots of healthy options from juices to smoothies to açaí bowls. This place is great! Love the decor and the food is delicious. I have been on the hunt for a good acai bowl in NYC and it has be a more challenging journey than I had anticipated. However, this one is quite good! Love all the toppings and the acai mixture itself has lots of flavor and isn't too sweet. I love when acai bowls have cocoa nibs and peanut butter which this bowl had. They have some outdoor seating which is great and the street that it's on isn't too busy either so it makes for a more pleasant experience. I love how small the shop is and I felt they were taking excellent covid precautions which was greatly appreciated. I cannot wait to try more things on their menu. Longer than half a mile to walk here from my hotel. Definitely worth the exercise. Small, comfortable spot in a discreet location. But that's not why you're here, you're here for the sandwiches! Had turkey and tuna sandwiches. Delicioso! Extremely fresh (from hell, but if this is what hell tasted like, I'm definitely coming back), healthy with a choice to customize the bread itself and what you want in the sandwich, and their smoothies are also fresh and delicious. If you're like me and new to this place, just order their signature sandwiches and it'll be more than enough to fulfill your craving for a home-made, delicious sandwich with a fresh feeling. Very small and unassuming. Sandwiches are pretty good value for the freshness! Got the proscuitto and mozz sandwich and loved the ingredients and basil inside, for less than $8. High quality whole grain bred. Also try the acai berry granola smoothie bowl. Super Super fresh fruit! The name of this place first caught my attention - and it's quickly become one of my favorite juice/smoothie places in Midtown. It's a super cute and colorful place with some seating. The staff here are always really friendly and helpful. They are courteous with dietary needs and always provide recommendations if requested. I've had both açaí bowls and smoothies from here. - Açaí Bowl: My bowl had strawberries (substituted extra because I didn't order blueberries), bananas, and grains. It was delicious! It also comes in a large bowl which allowed me to easily mix everything together. - Açaí Deluxe: This smoothie was my favorite, I'm a huge açai fan. Initially, I thought that it would be a bit on the sweeter side, but I ended up being glad that it was very light. It was very refreshing after a long workout. Pretty average sandwich and juice place. Liked the green machine smoothie, and the turkey avocado sandwich wasn't bad, though I wish there was less honey mustard. If you get a sandwich, I recommend getting it in multigrain bread rather than the baguette, which is hard as a rock and difficult to bite into. Came in on a Saturday around 12:45pm and it was crazy packed with a long wait, so maybe worth calling ahead of time. read more

I have visited Fresh From Hell a few times now and overall would say it is mediocre. I have tried their smoothies, which are good, but pretty standard. Nothing to write home about. I have tried their lunch menu items twice now. The first time I got the lunch combo - 1/2 tuna sandwich and a large soup (tomato cheddar) for $10. The tomato soup is very good and the sandwich was just alright. Most recently, I wanted to try one of their paninis. I got the tuna avocado panini with Swiss and tomatoes (or at least it was supposed to have tomatoes). I was pretty disappointed with this. For $9 it was probably the smallest serving of tuna salad I have ever had on a sandwich and there were no tomatoes. I got the tomato cheddar soup again, which was still good. However, a small soup is $6.25! I probably would not have ordered if I looked at the price first. Overall, the food is not bad, not great, and I think it is pretty overpriced for what you get. read more

Normally I only order smoothies from here which are decent. But I get delivery from here because its close to my job and the smoothies are a little cheaper than other places in the area. Today I ordered a sandwich to have for lunch as well. Well that was a BIG MISS STEAK. Because THIS is what you get for a $9 sandwich. It has maybe 3 slices of turkey on it. If I wanted a crap sandwich I would of gone to subway and paid half the amount. I think ill walk myself to the Deli next door and buy some cold cuts so I can make this a proper sandwich. My first job was in a deli when I was 13. And I was cranking out lunches made with pride. One of my fav spots to grab breakfast near the office. Being in time square, there aren't a lot of non chain business options. I like fresh from hell bc I'm getting a smoothie made with real fruit and fresh ingredients- no added sugars or preservatives.
