This place is a hidden gem. Delicious, fresh, flavorful salads and yummy fresh pressed juices. This is cravable healthy food. I stopped by and ordered the Kale jerk chicken Cesar salad. The ingredients were so fresh. The staff gave me an extra dressing without me even asking. He was very kind and patiently explained all the options available to me. Based on his recommendation, I added an elderberry lemonade. It was perfectly refreshing and a great addition to my meal. I highly recommend this restaurant. Update it's not closed now!!! I was so ready to try out this place for my fasting prep doing omad during my week prep. I'm a very joyful person and as I walked in I started talking and asking about the favorite option's and Myah was great help with her suggestion the salmon kale ceasar I did add Romaine onions tomato too it and boy the portion was way bigger then it looked once I started eating!! When I left the gym I was so hungry and a gentleman mentioned that if I was looking for something healthy, try Fresh Green! I walked in and everyone greeted me! It had a cozy and clean atmosphere. Seating in the side and some high top seating as well. One of the owners came up to me and offered to let me try the jerk grilled chicken. I am not a fan of spice but he guaranteed me that it only had a small kick to it! I LOVED it! I ended up doing a create your own salad with the jerk grilled chicken. The create your own comes with, 5 salad choices, your greens and the meat is a separate price. They had so many options and I was excited! The food was so good and they are definitely called fresh green for a reason! It was a nice portion and I chose this dressing called sesame ginger! I really enjoy the fresh variety of salad options at Fresh Green. I usually build my own to insure everything I want is included, but they have plenty of salad options on their menu. This was my first time at this particular location and I noticed they have a kiosk for you to place your order. Since no one was inside, I just placed my order with a staff member. She was extremely patient and since I didn't know which dressing to choose, she let me sample a few. This is a black owned business and a healthy option restaurant. Exactly what the area needed. If you're ever in the area and desire a salad, give them a try. They aren't cheap, but well worth it! read more

Went back here for a quick lunch today as the place was mostly empty and I think the management here has changed unfortunately for the worst. It took 15 mins to get a salmon salad wrap that had no salmon on it. I watched multiple people look over what the first person made as well as the manager who proceeded to so poorly wrap the incorrect wrap that someone else had to help him do so. He then proceeded to feign ignorance about the absent salmon and passed blame to the employee who asked him if what she had made was correct. had the pleasure of visiting Fresh Green today and I must say, I was really impressed! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a genuine welcome. Even the manager, Brad, came over to introduce himself, which made the experience feel personal and inviting. When I asked about their recent closure, the manager explained they're under new management and are currently operating on limited hours ahead of their big grand opening on June 14, 2025. It's clear they're making some exciting changes, and I'm all for it! I ordered the Chicken Harvest salad, and let me tell you - the portion size was generous, definitely bigger than I remember. The flavors were fresh and satisfying, and I left feeling completely content. As someone who's always on the lookout for healthier meal options, especially after hitting the gym, it's so great to have a place like this nearby. so grateful to have stumbled upon fresh green as i wanted && needed something healthy for my day. i came w a friend who was working an event w me. we both ordered the blackened salmon kale cesar salad. salads were huge && great. my only issue is we paid different cost for the same salad. all i wanted was a different lettuce && to add a few other items (which is add'l cost -sure) but my friend did the same as me && she just paid for that cost && i got charged for a build your own. more consistency is all i would ask. not to mention she also got wayyyyy more salmon in hers yet hers was cheaper. i should of at least got more since i paid for every item! music was a vibe too! read more

The food looked fresh and tasty. It was a cold evening and I wanted to try their soups. I wanted the tomato soup and the shrimp chowder. Although both of these options are on the menu to be ordered, they only had chicken tortilla soup. The interior was nice and clean. Other that being told that they didn't have what I wanted to order, I didn't have much of a service experience to share. I walked away without making a purchase. The rating is for the service. Management needs to reassess coverage as well as ensure items are stocked. There is always about a 30-45 min wait. Usually one person doing everything. Whether you order online or in store, as I have done both and the wait is long. Also, every-time I come in they are always out of something. Definitely need to get it together. read more

So far I've only tried one salad, the chicken harvest salad, and it was absolutely amazing. The elderberry vinaigrette really set the tone. There is a perfect amount of sweetness from the cranberries and apples. A good bit of crunch from the pecans and the chicken was seasoned to perfection and clean. And the cheese was the perfect pairing with this type of salad! The greens were fresh and the venue was clean. It was like a little café set up where you could sit down and enjoy your food or you can pick it up and go. There's a little bit of a wait, but it's not long- it's because everything is prepared and made fresh... Which I appreciate. The lady creating the salad was very friendly. She greeted you when you walked in and she asked you different questions or made some suggestions to see if she can make it exactly to your liking. I would definitely recommend giving them a try!! I gave this place a stellar review on Google about a year ago, but the customer service has declined. There is a young lady who worked today (7/21/24) at about 1:15 pm who had the worst customer service. I came in and had to speak first. She then put on gloves and proceeded to stare. She didn't speak to me or ask what I wanted. She didn't ask what could she get started for me. Just rude and unwelcoming. Ok, I heard that FG was a good experience and I agree! We made our on salads. The food was fresh and the salad came out amazing and big! As far as ambiance: It's a walk in place with some seating. The staff was helpful and asked if we needed help ordering on the computer they had. We declined the offer and figured it out finally, (it could be a little more user friendly). One other thing, I wanted more options added to my salad, I would have been willing to pay for extra choices, I didn't see that as an option. The computer stops u after a certain number. The salads are fresh but the protein serving sizes aren't the best. However, after expressing my disappointment about the sizes, I received a call from the manager and she was very accommodating. I really like this place and excited to have such a healthy option close to home. I've eaten here twice. The salad greens and ingredients are fresh and the portions are decent. The cucumber lavender drink is refreshing and delicious too. The reason for the 3 stars is due to the inconsistencies. The kiosk will state they're out of items that they actually have and today they're close by 7;15, though they're supposed to be open until 8. We need small businesses in Upper Marlboro, but they have to be consistent to be supported. I pray these are just growing pains and they will be worked out, so I can continue to support. read more

Rudeness should never be a part of customer service, especially if that's not the energy I'm giving to you with my question regarding the mixing of the salad and dressing. It's not an option when ordering at the kiosk so ask how would you like your dressing or when asked to have it mixed it don't give an attitude about it. I love and support Fresh Greens but I will take my business to an establishment that employs kind and respectable employees only. Never get mad about doing your job and if you do find another because poor customer service will have a negative impact on your employer's business which impacts their revenue and your ability to stay gainfully employed. First of all, I am very happy to have healthy food options so close to home. I've also been to the Bowie location, so I was already familiar with them. I've been to the newest location at Watkins Park 3 times in the one month since they've opened. I love a good salad! My experience with the service is that it is pretty outstanding! Although I'm a little technologically challenged, I'm getting used to the ordering screens versus verbalizing the order. The salads are super fresh and the options available are great! That jerk salmon Caesar is my favorite, so far. I've gotten it 2 out of the 3 times I've been there. The other time, I got the chicken harvest, which is also very good. I appreciate having a Fresh Green store in my area. I've purchased Food from the Watkins Park location three times. The first two times, I had a wonderful experience. The food servers wore gloves on their hands and promptly completed my order. However, one my third visit to Fresh Green, I drew the short straw. Meaning, the server who prepared my food came from the back room, looking like she had just woke up from a nap, she put gloves on her hands, started to fix my salad, then she took the gloves off her hands, finished making my salad. I have no idea why she took her gloves off, I guess it was more comfortable for her, so the hell with cleanliness. I didn't eat the food, threw the whole thing in the trash.
