Fresh green does it for me every time! & the food lives up to the name-- certainly fresh! I typically opt for the jerk salmon caesar (add cranberries) and it's one of my favorite salads overall. There is tons of flavor from the jerk seasoning, and I love that although I am stopping by for a quick bite, I have the option to get salmon. Service is typically good here. Staff are friendly and ask if you'd like them to toss your salad. They also make sure to ask how much dressing you prefer. They really strive to make to your liking! It can be a bit pricy for a salad ($19+ depending on your order) however, it's made well and worth the splurge if you're not able to make it at home. So, I decided to try this place on a whim. Please keep in mind that this place is expensive. I got the jerk salmon caesar with kale. First, it's kind of preposterous that a tbsp of a topping to add to the salad is $1.50. Secondly, the lettuce wasn't chopped or anything so the bowl was filled with thick kale pieces & the toppings just sit at the top. Had this spot on my list to try for a couple of months now and boy did it NOT disappoint! I tried their jerk chicken caesar salad with half kale and half romaine topped with their jerk caesar dressing ***CHEF'S KISS*** !! I was skeptical to try the jerk caesar at first but it was the perfect touch! My salad even came with a piece of bread. Oh, and I for sure had their Elderberry Lemonade to wash everything down. That had to have been some of the best lemonade I've ever had. Not too sweet, not syrup-y - just a fresh lemonade. My friend and I ate inside and baby I went back for 3 refills of lemonade (had to have some for the ride home). I got the Chicken Harvest salad and swapped the chicken for salmon for only $4 more. My friend got a "Create Your Own" with chicken, no drink, no sweets (there are assorted Sweet Street cookies and brownies at the register) and our total was $26. The salads are huge and are basically two meals in one. We were able to customize anything we wanted and enjoyed our salads. Service was friendly and quick. We just spent $29.94 on our meal. A wrap, lemonade, and chips. After ordering on the kiosk and waiting for our food, we were told they don't have wraps at all. Well, we're about to drive and can't just eat a salad in the car. As such, we asked for a refund and intended to visit one of the stores next door. After the employee called her manager, Ms. K who didn't answer, she proceeded to ask us to come back another day because they "don't know how to do refunds". She asked if we could return on Saturday for a refund. Huh?? How might you operate a business where employees are unable to do refunds without you? Simple concept. Come and get some greens in your diet! The election of greens, toppings, proteins, and dressings is enough variety that the average palate won't be bored. I give 4 stars because of more cosmetic issues. (1) there should be better lighting in order to highlight the space and the options and (2) there is a small selection of crafted salads. This place has the slowest service!!! It takes 30 mins to get your order even taken. I came in on August 27th at 1:20 pm they had two people placing orders when I got there. After the first person put in their order they let the person jump the line and go in front of me to put in another order. The person that was after them was ordering two salads and the person making it was slow and showed no since of urgency. They had 4 people working and only two of them where making salads. I have 30 min for lunch and it's been wasted having to wait there. It's sad because this is a black own business that I recommend to people.
