I think it's wonderful that healthier options like Fresh Kitchen are coming around. I like the food options here a lot more than similar healthy food chains with the same structure. The food tastes fresher, hotter, and the sauces compliment the food well. Not only that, but they have healthy versions of popular soda, along with their own juices as well. I tried their version of Root Beer, and it was honestly really good! The service here has always been great, kind, and fast. The inside of the restaurant is clean, and has many seats. This place was a delightful surprise! Healthy gluten-free dining can be tasty and delicious! Everything is gluten-free! All of it! There is a guide for other allergens like dairy. This is Chipotle for plant-based dining. You pick a four or 6 bowl which essentially refers to the number of base (always 2 - rice, noodles and/or mash), veggies and proteins. Includes sauce of your choice. Up charge for steak, salmon and addl. toppings. I had a 4 bowl with coconut ginger rice, maple sweet potatoes, sesame green beans, steak, tomatoes and herb vinaigrette sauce. It was so delicious. The green beans were slightly crispy, the steak was medium rare and the rice was fluffy. Every ingredient was a burst of flavor. The most "bland" item was the sweet potatoes which were not that bland. Every bowl comes with 2 bases, but you can sub a veggie for a base. The tomatoes are a "don't miss" for me. They taste like mini bruschetta with basil and olive oil. I found the bowl so flavorful that I didn't even need the sauce. And the portion was big enough that I couldn't even finish it. Sodas are a non traditional brand along with fruit teas and lemonades sweetened with raw sugar (which is not very sweet). The restaurant has a fun pink vibe, but it was not maintained well. There is an outdoor patio. Better restaurant maintenance would have made this a 5 star review. We will be back! read more

Came in person this time around! I arrived at 11:30 AM on a Friday. The location was steady but not overly busy. I was able to order fairly quickly and they do keep a limit on the number of bowls that can be ordered at one time to keep the line moving. This time I opted for a SIX bowl which allowed me two bases, two proteins and two veggies and one sauce for about $13. I opted for two scoops of the ginger coconut rice, a scoop of green beans, a scoop of maple sweet potatoes, two servings of herb steak and the creamy white ginger sauce. (There is an up charge for two portions of steak) They didn't have any steak when I ordered but I was willing to wait as I wasn't in a rush. It did take about 10 minutes before the steak came up. I was very impressed with their customer service and their immediate attention to recovering my wait time. Based on my experience today and the times that I have ordered from them through delivery, I will definitely continue to bring my business here. read more

On 5/27/2023, mid to late afternoon, I purchased 2 bowls to go: a 4 and a 6. In the 6 bowl was spinach, cauliflower mash, steak, bbq chicken and sriracha sauce. My partner ate the bowl and by the time we were home (20 minutes,) was showing symptoms of food poisoning. He was sick for 3 days and has narrowed it down to cross contamination and/or unwashed spinach. I got a completely different order from him so I was fortunately unaffected. I want to put this out there to consumers as well as management to be aware of this issue and take necessary precautions to prevent this from happening to anyone else in the future. I love fresh kitchen and I'm the type of customer who will drive to Lake Mary or the Orlando location just to get a bowl even though each location is 30 minutes from my home. So I was excited that a location much closer was going to open up in winter garden. First, it is boggling my mind that the WG location is refusing to serve the spiced rice. Every location I have been to, even the one in Sarasota, serves spiced rice. WG does not and every time I have asked why not, they say "we don't know". Second, maybe they are trying to still figure things out but this WG location is chaotic to me. There are way too many people behind the food stand, they are all talking, they can't hear you when you tell them what you want. They are all trying to work really quick and end up giving really small portions into the bowls. Never seen this before. And the few times that I have been there, every single time the lemonade dispensers are empty. So all these people are working at the food serving area but no one has the time to refill the lemonades? Or are they sold out? They should realize this location is busier because WG is a overly saturated suburb area and so things will sell out. Keep up. Have enough at your WG location to keep up with the demand for that demographic. I wanted to love this location. And now I'm having to go back to the ones that never disappoint. read more

When it says "fresh", they mean it. The items written on the menu sound okay but once you see them in front of you, everything looks amazing. You first pick whether you will get a Six Bowl (2 bases, 2 proteins, 2 veggies and a sauce) or a Four Bowl (2 bases, 1 protein, 1 veggie and a sauce) or a Kids Bowl (1 base, 1 protein, 1 veggie and a sauce). There are warm bases like rice and mashes, and cold ones like salad. Also, there are seasonal choices like the Coconut Ginger Rice that I got. My family really liked their bowls and I did feel like I was eat healthier than I normally do. Only thing that knocks this down a star is some of the add-on prices. Steak and Salmon proteins are both an additional $3 and some toppings have extra costs as well. My son got the Six Bowl with Steak and Salmon as his proteins which brought it up to $18 and he was going to get the avocado topping but then saw it was an additional $2 and he didn't want to spend $20 on his bowl for lunch. As long as you pay attention to up charges, this is a great place for lunch or dinner and everyone can get what they want. read more
