Big, messy in the way a good burger is supposed to be, and actually worth being hungry for. The fries are great alongside it, and obviously having a good beer with everything doesn't exactly hurt. The atmosphere is another reason I like this place. It's lively and casual without feeling like they're trying too hard to manufacture a "cool" restaurant. You can come in with friends, grab a burger and a beer, hang out for a while, and nobody is rushing you out the door. Service has always been friendly and pretty on top of things, even when they're busy. And considering how packed places like this can get, that deserves some credit. It's definitely not an everyday kind of meal unless you're trying to personally keep the beef industry afloat, but when you're craving a real burger, Burgers and Brew is hard to argue with. I really want to support every single business in town as much as possible, but this fresh twisted café owner does not deserve a good word. I was parking in front of his business for four minutes waiting for a space to get fuel and he came out and accosted me screaming at me telling me to get the F out of his parking lot and that he was gonna have me towed, I am just trying to get fuel and waiting for a good spot to park. I would've moved out of the front of his area which was not blocked by the way closer to the road his business he picked up a chair as he were going to throw it at my truck, screaming at me. you should be ashamed of yourself, sir and I do understand not wanting your business blocked but for four minutes out of your day was it really worth the commotion? My favorite go to spot for lunch! I usually call my order in ahead of time and it is always ready when I get there and fresh and delicious!! The breakfast bagels are SUPERB!! My daughter orders their burger everytime and swears it's the best burger she's ever had! You can watch them grill it on their back patio while you wait and the meat is super fresh. The wraps and sandwiches are all made to order with a wide variety of topping options and TONS of sauces! Juice is all freshly made with so many options of fruits and vegis you could have different one every day of the week for a year without repeats! Carrot ginger is my absolute fav, but they are all amazing! The customer service is spot on and everyone is always so friendly and professional with lots of suggestions and solid knowledge of their menu and products. I have yet to be disappointed by this cafe and am looking forward to trying their ribeye tacos for lunch today! read more

Service is impeccable and they have FREE samples galore. I come here every morning for my organic espresso white mocha its to die for! Smooth finish and doesn't leave that burning in your stomach like starbucks. Food wise everything is good here and it is almost impossible to choose when you come to eat. I love the burgers myself with cheddar cheese and all the toppings. Wraps are good to and extremely huge like burrito size. My favorite smoothie is the pina colada and the favorite juice is ultra garden with lemon and ginger. I like the gallons because it is extremely affordable and i can drink throughout day.They serve breakfast all day and I love the soy chorizo bowl you can't even taste the difference, if your skeptical about the soy chorizo they will let you try it! I come here at least once a week but generally its 2-3 times and they keep on getting better.For breakfast I always get the grilled ham and cheddar cheese croissant and for lunch, I either get the 100% organic beef burger on reg bun with grilled onions and the works. I get the grilled chicken wrap on spinach tortilla with sprouts , pepperoni, bacon, mustard, mayo, onion and cucumber it's ridiculously good and addicting. I also like the grilled chicken sandwiches on toasted multi-grain or Daves organic basically food wise you cannot go wrong with anything you choose. My favorite juice is the sunset with ginger or I sometimes make my own with green apple, oranges, ginger ,lemon, mint and carrot. I have been a fan ever since you have opened. I have a lot of family who comes in from out of town and this is my go to spot to take them for breakfast, lunch or smoothies. Just avoid during peak hours as, even if you get there before lunch rush, there is a high possibility of waiting 45 minutes for your food as well as watching the 5 people who ordered after you, be served before you. Maybe time to expand to a bigger location and hire more cooking staff to keep up with the many loyal customers such as myself? Delish!! Very fresh and tasty! A tiny bit pricey, but you are paying for very fresh and mostly (as far as I know) organic. I love that you can also purchase things like hard boiled eggs and fresh cut-up fruit, which rocks when I'm in a rush. They also have products from local places, like soaps, essential oils and the like. We especially like to call ahead for their breakfast burritos when we're hitting the road :) I love having a place like this in North Chico. read more

We love, not only how larger their juices are, but the prices!! Considering that it is ALL fresh fruits and vegetables, it is one amazing deal!! Fresh Twisted has great food, juices and smoothies. It's one of the only places in town that serves breakfast sandwiches and burritos all day and allows you to customize your order. They put in a lot of thought about being kid friendly with a board on the front area where you order to occupy your small child and a kids seating area with toys and cartoons. They make everything fresh to order and everything I've ever had has been delicious. read more

I got a green smoothie here a couple of days ago. The owner is really nice and is very conscious about where the ingredients come from. There is a rewards program that I try to take advantage of. There is a large sitting area which is really nice if you have kids that you are bringing as well. Their flavored water is a nice treat too when it is really hot outside. read more

This is a very relaxing place to go. So if in a rush do not bother. The food is fresh and made correctly so not super fast. But it is super yummy and I do not even feel bad about the calories as I am eating such quality food. If you want a perfect omelette made your way. Their fusion tacos were served on Naan and had really good ingredients. The two tacos that we were served one was Greek and one was Barbecue. They were very well balanced, and you can tell that there was a lot of care put into them. What I loved most about the tacos is the filling was different than what you would normally see for a taco. So for example, the barbecue had an apple slaw with pulled pork and the Greek taco had this mixture of zucchini and chickpeas with chicken. The potato salad had sun-dried tomatoes in it, and it was definitely different than I've ever had for a potato salad and it was delicious. For dessert, we were serve some cookies and a brownie. They were also very good. When I got a chance to sit down with my friend and talk to her about the food. She mentioned that they do pop up dinner sometimes, that the breakfast & lunch sandwiches are really good and that they make a lot of item "house made" for their drinks and their food . We also enjoy their butterscotch coffee and the Almond Joy and I'm told they make the butterscotch themselves. The staff/owners were great and were really trying to be so accommodating to our group. So if you're looking for a delicious breakfast or a relaxing lunch or looking for a place to have an event, I would check them out. They definitely inspired me to visit again.

I understand she was filling in while her daughter was on maternity leave at that time but that's still not an excuse to treat customers poorly, especially around dietary needs. Because of that interaction, I won't be returning. No second chance from me. If you have dietary restrictions, I'd think twice.

Disappointed, we cruise over to The Farmers Skillet located a few miles away in Chico on Rio Lindo. We strolled in at 1:50 pm, noting they also close at 2 pm. I ask politely if we are too late even though our hostess already has two menus in her hand and a smile on her face. "Not at all," she exclaims and then says "Welcome". Service there was warm, and unhurried. The Roost could learn a lesson here. If your 24/7 policy is to stop serving half an hour prior to closing then it should be posted, and door locked maybe? I know Deja Vu (also in Chico, on the Esplanade) closes at 2 pm and they have the CLOSED sign up with door locked at 1:45 pm. We shan't be returning. Very disrespectful and unnecessary. IF in fact that IS the policy of this diner and not just the whim of a lazy student/hostess then we should still have been seated. It was 1:30 pm as we entered. Shame on management. Know your staff and make sure they are operating with YOUR agenda and priorities, not theirs.

My husband got the club sandwich with a Cesar salad and it was delicious. We got the shrimp bruschetta appetizer and that was so good, would definitely get again. The service was incredibly slow, one server for the whole place, but she was very sweet.
