Freshfields is always a stop when in Orlando. The fruits and vegetables are fresh and very reasonably priced.

My MIL enthusiastically shared her haul from here so I had to check it out. It's a unique setup with produce being in one building and meat in the other. Service was friendly and quick and there were some good deals to be found here. Absolutely will be going back and hope to try the cute little snack counter in between. read more

I go to the typical stores for groceries but always stop here first and then go to Walmart Publix etc. The food is always fresh and you cannot beat the prices. My wife and I have been shopping here for years, less frequently now as we live in Davenport and it is a bit far. We love the variety of meats and produce they have. The prices are always very reasonable and the staff is always super friendly. Due to COVID-19, they are limiting the number of people in the stores, which as very much appreciated as both the meat market and the produce store get very busy. They are sanitizing their carts and have the sanitized carts separated away from the carts that need to be sanitized. Sanitizer for your hands is also readily available. In this time of crazy food prices for little reason it is refreshing to see Freshfields (formerly Momm's & Popp's) is still a great value. One side produce, one side proteins, and a soft serve ice cream shop in between. After seeing $3 chicken wings (??? if available) elsewhere it is great having a reasonably price poultry source like Freshfields. Thighs were $.89 and turkey was $.99 upon my last visit. Plenty of fresh seafood including pink shrimp from the Keys and wild caught salmon. Plenty of pork cuts for bbq including several types of ribs. They have aged streaks, but only choice grade. Plenty of cold cuts and I have never had a bad purchase in over 10 years, which I can't say about Publix (even though they make it right). As you can see in the pictures the freshness of their produce stands out. Typically, it is very quick in/out here but this place will be packed leading up to any eating holiday so plan accordingly and bring parking patience. Put this place on your list. I loveeee this store. I first learned about it last year after COVID was a thing. Its the first place I went to get groceries from. I was able to get my fresh meats, fruits and veggies in one place. I love their fresh food and I love the prices. I love that it's such a huge store on both sides. They are in a convenient location. They can get pretty busy on the weekends so I recommend going early or during the week. They close early so make sure you check the times before going to them. I love the food stand they have outside. I've had some of the best ice cream with fresh strawberries from them. I don't mind taking the drive to get to this store, I hope I never have a reason to stop shopping here. I prefer this store over Publix and Walmart of course. I only use the small supermarkets for my extras that I can't get at Fresh Field's. read more

They sell reasonably priced fruits and vegetables, there is a decent variety, and is always fresh. For those who eat meat, there is a meat market next door. If you love ice cream, I've heard the ice cream shop between the two buildings has good ice cream. Unfortunately, there were no non-dairy options. It's worth the trip. read more

My sister keeps raving about this grocery store but it's a bit of a drive for me from Kissimmee. Finally, I was in this side of town and decided to stop by. This grocery store did not disappoint! First of all, they have their own parking lot; however, during the weekend it can get hectic as everyone is doing their grocery shopping. This grocery store has "2 stores" connected: their meat store and then their produce store. In between these stores is a little food/drinks window where you can buy hot dogs, turkey legs, sandwiches, and ice cream all for a very reasonable price. I wanted to try out their turkey leg but I was full from my lunch earlier that day....so that just means I have to make the drive back to this great place to try it out one day! I love it when grocery stores are well lit and neatly organized. This store has it. In addition to that, the staff are all knowledgeable and friendly. They have amazing prices on some of their products too! When I went, chicken breasts and their steak were cheaper than other grocery store prices and it was neatly packaged. My dad looked up this store prior to our short trip to FL and wanted to check it out. This is a specialty store that is split into two separate buildings - fruit and veggies are in one, and meat plus some prepared food like BBQ sandwiches, are available in the other one. They state on their site they are not a grocery store or a grocery market. There is a lot for the store with a fair amount of parking. Exercise caution when parking and looking for a spot here. There are not a ton of spaces and sometimes people are trying to back out of spaces, while others are trying to find one or leave the parking lot. We did find a spot as someone was leaving and managed to get in it without any potential accidents. There is an impressive amount of produce and meat varieties in both buildings. The store was packed and people were checking out with full carts. Prices were reasonable and some of the smaller packaged items like sun-dried tomatoes, were packaged in good-sized quantities for low prices. Everything looked very fresh and I believe they disclosed where everything was from. While we didn't purchase anything, it was fun coming in to check out the store. It's a good option to consider if you want fresh produce or a specific cut of meat without paying an arm and a leg for it. read more

No organic romaine. They do have a large selection of produce that are not in plastic bags. The inside of the fresh ginger was blue so it's better to get those at Asian markets such as Lotte or Enson. You'll need to pay for your produce before heading to the meet side. It is separated by a small food stand. They had cuts of beef ribs to make Korean ribs (kalbi) at a very reason price. The cuts are not as good as Lotte but they are priced much lower. Family pack of skinless, boneless chicken thighs were around $5 (I believe they are free range) They had a large fresh pork, beef, chicken and lamb. It doesn't replace Whole Foods if you are looking for organic produce but it's a good alternative to Publix. read more

You had me at Pink Pineapple, but why you do you have to be so far! So I hadn't been here in years, but we wanted to check it out. We went around lunch on Sat, man it was busy. So they have tons fresh fruits and veggies, but I went with a pink pineapple. This was so good. We also picked up mushrooms for the week. My wife is a sucker for Peanut butter, so she bought fresh Almond butter and then honey roasted peanut butter. The butters are amazing. We hit the meat side, and I bought a few strips, a few tenderloin steaks and a few Ribeyes. The strips were super juicy and I am looking forward to eating more. This place is sort of an anomaly to me. I've been here twice now, and the first time was outstanding. They had some South African grapefruit here that really disappointed me... I mean, it was the best grapefruit I've tasted anywhere, by far. I'm just mad that they didn't have a sign that said "Take two. Trust us. Just buy two." The produce side and the meat side are divided, and you'll have to check out at each side. Apparently, they were two separate stores at one period in time, and they just rebranded them as a single store. There's an ice cream shoppe/food stand that divides the two sections. Meat prices are exceptionally reasonable - cheaper than some national discount stores - and the food quality is excellent. You will find local produce, a deli, nut butters, raw food and local meats. What you will also find (and I hate to even mention it, because they're sooooo good), are bacon ends. They call it "seasoning bacon", but basically it's what's left over after they cut off the end of the pork belly to make it square. What's left over is delicious and cheap, perfect for making bacon bits, or adding to baked potato salad. Look that up if you're lacking a side to take to your cookout. They also have cheese ends, which are great for a grilled cheese, or maybe to round out a pimiento cheese spread. I've been thoroughly impressed by this operation and the food on offer, and I think the greater Orlando area agrees. Folks line up on Sunday, and they probably should. P.S. Wow! I never knew this market existed - right near Downtown Orlando but it feels like you are 100 miles away. It's separated into the butcher side with meats, cheese and seafood and the produce side - both have separate cashiers and entrances which is a bit odd but it works. The selection and prices are amazing! I only wish they had smaller portions of pork and chicken but at the price you can't complain. Outside is an ice cream stand with soft serve and delicious hot dogs. Worth a drive - this place was awesome! read more

Always busy on the weekends but worth it You can find any fruit even rare ones here like jackfruit, rambutan, dragon fruit, etc Produce and meats are really good prices. This is a great spot for your meat and produce needs! I like hitting this place up to gather these essentials. The store is well organized, clean, and carries a great selection of meats, fruits, and veggies. I like the fact that you can find a lot of different meats that aren't always at the regular grocery store. For example, I use unsmoked pork neck bones for one of my recipes. I can always find them here whereas they are tough to find in other stores. On top of good selection, the quality of the items always seems to be on point and the staff members are friendly and willing to answer questions. This place can get pretty packed on the weekend so keep that in mind. They try to move people through as quickly as possible, but parking can be a challenge occasionally. I can have a shopping cart full of produce and come out paying less than $50. That's insane! Even though its a bit far from where I live, it's definitely worth the drive. I also like that one side is all fresh fruit, veggies, peanut butter, honey, beans, and herbs. Then you walk outside and the other building is all the meat and fish. Our daughter and her family live very close by to Freshfields Farms. She has 3 little ones age 4 and under. The little ones love the fruit from Freshfields Farms. My daughter and her husband love the sliced fresh fruit that the kids will eat (actually devour!) and are easy to serve. The prices are reasonable and the selection is excellent. Check out at the produce section (there is a grocery section and a produce section with separate entrances) was quick and efficient on a recent Saturday afternoon. I enjoy shopping at local farmers markets/stores. Freshfields has a variety of fresh and reasonably priced fruits, veggies and meats. I can understand why they named their store Freshfields because truly everything is "fresh." They even have a concession stand of tasty ice cream with fresh fruit toppings and regular sundae toppings. We were regulars same schedule every Saturday nice lunch and then to you. We rarely shop there now I have had to throw away chicken as getting ready to make it the next day brown and crusty on the bottom 3 packages had an issue with stks as well ... the roast beef I never leave with out it.. now no thanks dosnt taste right anymore.....the fruit most of it gets bad in 3 days a whole lemon 6 of them finding moldy fruit in the center of the blueberry and strawberries!! so bummed we drove from SeaWorld just for your store not sure if I want to shop there again dont want to waste anymore money economy is too bad.. did you lower your standards? Hands down, this is my all time favorite place to purchase meat and produce. I've lived in Orlando for 7 years and have shopped here at least once a month for the last 7 years. I have referred countless people to shop here and I will continue to recommend this place! I have not found any other grocer that matches the quality of the meat and/or produce. Also, the prices can't be beat! The staff is always friendly and smiling, the atmosphere is very pleasant and the music is uplifting.
