We had the chicken noodle (creamy and closer to a chicken a la king) and the "gumbalaya" which was a good hybrid of the two traditional stews with a lot of flavor and a nice heat level. We also had the Asian chicken and the Mediterranean salads which were good and contained exactly what you would expect them to. I did have two issues with the place. The first is that if you want to pay with a credit card you have to get your receipt from the salad/soup guys and then go stand in the burger and fries line at the interconnected Freds "deli". The second, and more substantial, complaint is in the advertising. Both the outside and main menu board of Turtle's put it forth as "Fresh - Organic - All Natural". However, the whole menu, as I read this to imply, is clearly not organic (you can see the LaChoy and GFS boxes behind the counter). As I've said, the food was good, and while there may be parts of the menu that are organic (the soups maybe?) I find it both disingenuous and unnecessary for them to imply that they are fully organic.
