Food is amazing meats are fresh and the French toast are to die for highly recommend it's a must

Since I wrote my first review of Fresser's back in 2017, I have been there many times - dozens & dozens. I've tried nearly every luncheon sandwich they have - my favorite is #19, FYI. BUT, I really have tried their breakfast menu. It so happened that I had this past week off from work, so my wife & I went for breakfast. For me: a pastrami omelette with home fries and rye toast. My wife chose the ham & cheese omelette. Together, we shared a side of corned beef hashbrowns. Oh, my! So delicious. I'm a meat lover and this really hit the spot. Cooked just right - not overdone, not chewy, but not runny either. Just perfect. The corned beef hash browns were not a let down, either - a good amount of meat among the spuds. The toast was flavorful, too, and the fruit chunks were a nice touch to balance out the flavors. I barely finished eating everything, and I can eat a lot. My wife was unable to finisher hers (which she also enjoyed). Service is friendly - the owner, Mike, remembers folks names and welcomes you every time. The rest of the staff are helpful and prompt, too. As a note, this was our first time actually sitting down to a meal inside in over a year, although we have ordered takeout for lunch during the pandemic. I'm looking forward to trying more breakfast options. read more

Tremendous overstuffed sandwiches falling all over itself with slices of house-cured pastrami and corned beef on fresh baked marble rye. Snagged a #19 - a toasted triple decker stacked high with the aforementioned meats, coleslaw and Russian dressing. At $13 with no sides, it's absolutely worth two meals, even though you'll be drooling at the first bite and with eyes way bigger than anyone's stomach. It's delicious! In COVID times, two things to take note: the warm sandwiches are heavily dressed, and will likely destroy some of the bread stuff in transit if you're grabbing to go. Request they have the dressing on the side. Second, the inside space is small and I felt personally uncomfortable waiting for my 'wich while the bar eating area was lined with maskless diners. They offer curbside, although the somewhat cumbersome ordering and pay process may run you into slight delays. Our first visit was today. We have been to many deli's in New York, Boston etc and this one excels them in quality and certainly friendliness. Owner is an executive chef and has learned all the traditional ways of Jewish cooking. Everything we had was fantastic, even the Cole slaw. We had potato pancakes, knishes, egg salad 1/2 sandwich (Quite large) and a beef brisket 1/2 sandwich so full I could barely finish it. Tomato bisque soup was also exceptional. This place is cozy and comfortable with a convenient parking lot out front. We highly recommend you visit this place if you want great Jewish style deli food. We will be returning soon. We loved our waitress Betsy, who is very sweet, pleasant, friendly, and helpful in explaining the menu and bringing takeout items for us to see before we ordered our takeout food as well. Cozy delicatessen with counter and table seating or you can pickup takeout. The menu has about 40 different sandwiches to choose from and there's always customization choices. Service is great. I ordered a Reuben sandwich. The sandwich was stuffed and I took half of it home. It was one of the best Reuben sandwiches that I've ever had. We go back again, and again. read more

We went to this place for the first time to grab lunch on our way home. I loved it! The interior is inviting with places sit at the "counter" or at tables. The staff is extremely attentive. My friends make fun of me because they claim I only write negative reviews. (Wrong!) But it's not often that I eat at a place that if I could give 6 stars, I would. I never would have imagined that a deli of this quality would be in Randolph and not Boston or New York City. Start with the fact that the owner is very involved and makes most of the meats himself. The Brisket Sandwich, only available on Fridays is spectacular. The owner told me he cooks it for 10 hours and I can tell because the meat is so tender. The corned beef and the Romanian pastrami are excellent choices too. The place has a homey feel and they do a booming takeout business. I like going on Friday, so please only visit on Monday through Thursday so I can get the brisket sandwich before they run out. read more

My wife and I had driven down to Canton to purchase a newer truck and stopped for a late lunch. I had seen the reviews on Yelp and thought it would be a great place to try. We were welcomed warmly by (I believe the owner) all the employees and after pondering a very nice menu put in our order. I ordered a Reuben and my wife a turkey sandwich on wheat. The gentleman who took our order was a real pleasure to talk to. Both my wife and I have been in food service for years and we really hit it off with this guy. Now to the food. I was really impressed with the giant sandwiches we got. Quality ingredients made a fantastic sandwich that I actually couldn't finish. I realize some of you might balk at the pricing but you get what you pay for and this was definitely worth it's wait in price. Don't be fooled by their limited hours, which makes it kind of a hassle to try and patronize the plan seeing as they're closed on weekends - this is one of the best Jewish delis on the South Shore. The staff is friendly and their menu expansive - with so many options available: sandwiches, wraps, soups, breakfast, you name it and they most likely have it - including various specials. And clearly it's working for them; they've been around since 1996. I'm partial to the classic Reuben ($14.95) which is piled decently high and oh so tasty. Get a couple of pickle spears on there and you've got yourself a fine meal. The matzah ball soup is also a tasty one and don't sleep on their coleslaw either. There's a small private parking lot to boot and they accept credit card payments. What else could you possibly need? Weekend hours? Yup, that's about it. read more

Found this in google maps and based on a few reviews we come in- It did NOT DISAPPOINT! Meat really fresh, tender- we had #17 (turkey) and #18 (pastrami combo) sandwiches- no fat. Huge sandwiches. Everyone really nice- lots of regulars come in for call in orders. Arnold palmer with mint iced cubes worth the stop just off the 93. I'm new to the Randolph community, and I stopped in today for a delicious breakfast sandwich that was delicious with egg, spinach, turkey sausage, and swiss cheese. I met Amanda the owner who prepared an incredible breakfast platter of muffins, bagels, and a thermos of coffee for a school meeting. Amanda was incredibly helpful despite a busy morning, and I so appreciated her kindness and efforts. Can't wait to try her corned beef sandwich and matzo ball soup ! Thanks Amanda for all your help! I never came here before the renovation a year or so ago, and I never checked-in. That's because I worked nearby and had sandwiches here, but my office secretary would always pick it up for myself and my bosses. It was a nice treat when the secretary would ask for orders for this place. Now I come here on my own and I really like the decor from the new renovation. But, I'm definitely here for the sandwiches. When I worked, I usually got the corned beef since I wouldn't know when I would have the chance to eat that sandwich. The corned beef was very good, with nice flavor and it the sandwich itself being rather large. I usually order a hot pastrami sandwich now and it's fantastic. The meat is hot and sliced thin. The pastrami is savory and has quite a bit of tenderness. That, and a half-sour pickle, makes me quite satisfied. Service is friendly and prompt - really wonderful folks working there. In an area that's heavily devoid of kosher delis, this place most definitely shines and worth the trip. Pack a nice sandwich from here for a trip up the Blue Hills. read more

GO!!!.... but if you insist on reading the review, fine. Had the corned beef, pastrami, coleslaw and russian on rye... Unbelievable!! This sandwich is HUGE. Big, tasty, meaty and messy but well worth it. Service was excellent... Everybody was so hospitable and friendly. They are very proud of every selection on the menu and they have every right to be. WOW! We saw them a few weeks back on 'the Phantom Gourmet' and so I drove up from Providence to check them out. So glad I did!! I ordered the "Famous Fresser" and I have not been that impressed with a sandwich in many, many years. The flavors and ingredients used were all spot on and it was a great and tasty experience. Since the sandwich was so big, I took home the rest and had my husband eat the second half. He too, thought it was exceptional, although he wishes he could have been there himself. Servings are huge and delicious! The folks that work there are always upbeat and kind.

I was not impressed. I didn't think the staff was nice/friendly - seems like the type of place where you need to know the people working there for them to be nice to you. I was standing in line and they took someone's order behind me because they knew them. I thought that was rude, everyone pays with the same currency you think they would treat us the same, but no. Their "over roasted turkey" was DELI MEAT. So they should've changed their sign to "OVEN ROASTED DELI MEAT TURKEY", because otherwise people make the mistake that they're getting better quality food. Don't bother going there if you don't know what you're getting because they're not helpful. I did like that they had a lot of different chips/drink options, but other than that I was not impressed. read more

This place is very well run: Ingredients are top notch, portions are generous, and the space itself is always very clean. On top of this, the pastrami is easily tops in the Boston area. Fressers is a real NY style deli fyi, and it isn't cheap. That said, it is well worth the extra few bucks and hands down the best deli on the South Shore. read more
