I have been to multiple friar tux locations due to a handful of weddings last year. Our family will most likely not return to this specific location. Upon original return - she gave us a receipt saying it was a partial return bc tux coat was missing. Bride and groom go on wild goose hunt trying to find the missing tux coat. Tried calling friar tux to ask them to check again, but nobody picked up the phone. After 1 hr, someone finally picked up. We explained the situation how bride and groom are positive it is in there, but she was giving push back saying she scanned everything. We had to ask 1-2x to pls check again. She was giving attitude then said she will then hung up phone without any resolution. 2 min later, she calls the groom to confirm that the coat was in there. Could've been a one off situation but the attitude/customer service was poor. read more

Our experience with Friar Tux at the Anaheim location was beyond stellar!! Irvin provided excellent and customized service! My son is 6'4" and extremely thin so finding a tux that fit him was a challenge. A greater challenge was finding a tux with tails. Irvin was able to accommodate both. He also worked with me on alterations as well as pick-up and drop off schedules. All items were packaged well and easy to gather for the return. The package included the tux jacket, button down shirt, pants, shirt studs, cuff links, socks, shoes and bow tie and handkerchief matching his date's dress. Everything had to be returned except the socks. The entire process from beginning to end was seamless and Irvin made it a completely pleasureful experience!! We had a wedding to attend and knew we were going to be out of town until the day of the event. I went on-line to the Friar Tux website a couple weeks before the event. I registered and used the measurement calculator. I had an idea of what I wanted but wanted to see options. I set up a video appointment. On the appointment I looked at options and was guided through the process to complete the order. On the day of the wedding, we flew home and I went to the Anaheim store a few hours before the wedding to put on the tux and accessories and drive to the wedding. Everything fit perfectly and I was on my way after spending 10 minutes in the store. The employee who worked with me on-line was very professional as was the person who got me my clothing at the store. I had an amazing experience at Friar Tux From the moment I walked in, the service was outstanding. The staff truly works with you to make sure you find exactly what you're looking for. They take the time to listen, offer helpful suggestions, and make the whole process feel easy and stress-free. (Especially because I've never had the experience of getting my suit tailored. They didn't make me feel out of place) What really impressed me was how well they handled multiple customers at once. I'm a groomsman for a mid Nov wedding & a lot of us are all over the east coast, so going through a company online was the best choice. I measured myself, and then used the "fit calculator" on the site and was confident with the size I was ordering. As a 6'2" 280lb guy, dress clothes shopping can be a daunting task & not fitting, is a common occurence. Unfort it was too small and I needed to order up a size. I am very broad in the shoulders and a modern fit is tight in the shoulders so I struggled a little with this. I reached out and Cari (and her team) had a return label in my email & the next size shipped that day. I quickly received the next jacket. I had some concerns & wanted to try the next size, and spoke with Cari on the phone this time and made a plan. Again, the turnover speed was fantastic. Everything we spoke about, I experienced, and knew what needed to be done because Cari knows what she is doing. Now I am ready for the wedding with 2 weeks to spare, & a jacket that is going to look fantastic. Cari was such an asset through out my experience and she really made it positive and easy. I felt understood, respected, & appreciated. The quality of the jacket is nice and over all was a great value, especially since we went with black velvet - I can reuse it for multiple occasions. They did it again! Looking for a Tux for Commodore's Ball at our Yacht Club on Saturday. So I walked in on Tuesday afternoon. And it's Cody to the rescue! Set me up with a new , purchased Double Breasted Tux, (pretty nautical , huh?) . Had several in stock and came up with the right size and the right fit at less than twice the price of a rental. Walked in, had a fitting and done! Ready for pickup tomorrow with no extra expediting fees or other money added for the short notice like some other shops try to gouge you for. Even got a 10% discount for writing this review which I would have done anyway. I always go here since my wedding twenty years ago. If you find yourself in another Tux shop and they start talking about extra fees, walk out and go to the Friar Tux on Claudina Way in Anaheim. You'll be happy you did. read more

I was super stressed planning my wedding and one of the things I was very stressed about was the suits for both my groomsmen and myself. I looked into a couple options, but this one ended up looking like the best one! I organized all of my Groomsmen's outfits online, which was surprisingly super easy attached all their emails and was done with that. I went into the Anaheim location and was able to talk to Brandy. She was unbelievably nice and helpful and had the answer to all of my questions. Extremely easy to make conversation with, and honestly made me feel more comfortable with the whole process. The colors are sharp, the rental suits are clean and seem brand new, and the workers are exceptional. I want to give special shout out to Anthony and Rina, who were fantastic throughout my rental process. Anthony went above and beyond what you would expect from an affordable rental place, and his service made me feel as if I was buying a $20,000 suit. ME: Hey, I called a few days ago and asked how long it would take to get fitted for a basic tuxedo package as a guest to a wedding. I'm dumb and didn't get this done a month ago like I was supposed to. Wedding is in 2 hours up in LA, what do you think? MOHAMMED: I got you. Had SUCH a great experience at the Anaheim/main warehouse site of Friar Tux. Mohammed was 5*+. With my ridiculous timeline, he was patient, super detail oriented, provided me tons of great advice as I am not as familiar with tuxedos or general sartorial knowledge. Not only did he find something that worked w/ my budget, but he also made sure the tux was very well fitted. All of the adjustments and details looked great in the end! I showed up wearing flip flops and shorts/t-shirt, and left the shop looking wedding-guest-ready. We went straight to the ceremony/reception from the store and it was awesome. Felt like it was out of the ending scene from the original Hangover movie. The rental return process was ultra easy as well.
