Turns out i ended up buying a hot Polka Dotted number for night out on the Town and a few accessories (hats,jewelry,scarves). I make it a point to go in every week to check the selection of the latest baubles and such. Now shes added a $1 table - I load up! Like the fact that shes open past 6 when all the other shops close- that way you can stop in before or after cocktails downtown.

We were so close to finishing our alterations until I had to postpone the wedding once the pandemic started. At that time, Shelley kindly offered to hold onto my two dresses at her place. After a year, once weddings slowly started resuming, I reached out and told her I would pick it up to make room for her other clients, and she left detailed notes inside my garment bag so that we'd know where we had left off, and how much of the fees had already been paid. I reached out to her assistant in January 2022, and was easily able to resume where we left off with alterations. And I finally just got married late February !! By the way, the fees that Shelley charges are absolutely reasonable and probably the lowest you could find anywhere! Best of all, Shelley is so kind and funny, and made me feel so comfortable every time I came to visit. She knows her stuff, and does great, honest work. Both of my dresses were hemmed and tailored so well, and I'm so grateful for her.

Honestly, it was much better when it was split, as it carried a larger selection of merchandise. I recently realized I've hardly bought anything from this Macy's because the selection isn't that large. If I want to shop specifically at Macy's, I go to Brea Mall or South Coast Plaza. In some ways, you could call this "Macy's Light". Now the win for this location is their Backstage on the 3rd floor. I bought a belt there today for $9.99, but when they rang it up, it was $6.76 (or about), and I had a $10 reward on my Macy's card, so it was free! Gotta love that. I also recently did a return here from an online purchase gone bad (the item had a big ole' stain on it!), and the return was flawless. And maybe I just now figured this out, but they also now have furniture on the 3rd floor where children's used to be. I have no clue where the children's section is now. In a nutshell, there are good deals to be found here, and depending on which department you're in, you may or may not find help (Men's shoes is one department you may have to wait a bit, as I usually only see one person working), but it's an OK Macy's.

Seeing a person of color sitting calmly on a bench does NOT mean security needs to suddenly come busting out and start monitoring them. I'm sitting there in a bright orange shirt, on my phone, bothering absolutely NO ONE. Have some respect for people. I had actually been looking at dresses and was considering shopping at your store, but after being made to feel like I was suspicious simply for sitting outside, not anymore. Do better. People should be able to sit outside a store without being followed, or watched.

It's still a small store but it has all the goth goods you need in a pinch. There were Nine Inch Nails shirts but only a few designs that my friend wasn't interested in. The owner or shop keeper was talking it up with some kids at the register. Reminds me of the good old days when going to certain stores was a cool experience and Ipso is one of them. They are located on the west side of Harbor Blvd, north of Chapman and in the heart of downtown so there's plenty of restaurants and eateries to choose from and walking distance to the train station and if you want to catch the bus, it's on the same street as Disneyland, just a half hour south on Harbor.

But their dresses are cheaply made and even the woman who worked there admitted they ran small. In most stores I wear a size 22, which is about a 2X, but their 2X would be more like a 16 or smaller. Even their 4 and 5 Xs didn't fit me. One was too big, the other wouldn't zip up. I can understand the dressing room rules, especially the part about men not standing around them - there's no doors, just curtains, and pull as I would, there was still an inch gap on either side. In the end I felt bad because I left with nothing. However, what could I do? Most dresses didn't fit. The ones that did were so huge even on a fatty like me I could've fit an average size woman in there with me. One thing I don't get, and even the saleswoman agreed with me that it made no sense, why do formal dresses always have to be sleeveless? A lot of women, both skinny and fat, should not show their arms. I guess if I dropped more weight I could fit into their 4X, but at this time, I guess I'm stuck with having to have the dress I need custom made because this was the only store I've found that carried formal dresses that actually looked like formal gowns. (Even Nordstroms has failed me recently.) But their idea of a 2X is just too small.

I took 4 pairs of pants totaling $80 to get hemmed for my new job, and she was not helpful at giving advice for how much to take off the bottom, even when i was asking for guidance. She was rude and did not provide good customer service whether that be in person or over the phone. I had to repeat what pants were mine about 6 times, and she could barely keep track of which belonged to me. When i went in to drop my pants off she complained about all the work she had to do and the customers that dropped the clothing off. Which I didn't think was tasteful. She also complained about me needing my pants done in a week, which i feel is reasonable. When i picked up my pants, nothing was labeled with my name and I can clearly see the stitching from the outside of the pants. It is so bulky down at the bottom that it creates this thickness and draws attention to the hem. Also the seams on the inside are frayed and have a bunch of loose ends everywhere. Service was extremely disappointing. From having complaints about asking them to be done in a week, to hearing complaints about getting other people's items done, to giving me attitude when i was asking how much to take off the length, struggling to keep track of my belongings and most importantly, sloppy work, I would advise you to take your business elsewhere.

If you're looking for a fine men's suit with superior service then look no further than Dino's. My son's wedding was a month away and I'd gone to another men's clothier ( I will not mention them by name) But suffice it to say that they failed at every turn. They even ordered the wrong suit for me. I'd ordered a wool suit and instead they tried to pass off a polyester suit to me as the wool suit which they had charged me. When I realized this it was less than a week from my son's wedding and by fortune I located Dino's. He carried the exact suit that I was trying to buy at the other men's clothier. It was 100% wool and by the same manufacturer. He didn't have it in my size but he ordered it got it there in a couple of days and then fitted me the next day and had it done and ready for me to wear it my son's wedding. And he did this for less than what the other clothier was going to charge me. The other clothier has lost me as a customer for life but Dino, he is gaining me as a customer for the rest of my life. Just picked up my classic sport coat that I had tailored by Dino; had the sleeves shortened. Quality work and fair price. I initially searched and had phone inquiries with three other tailors. In the end, he seemed most knowledgeable and had the best price. Also enjoyed our discussion involving John Molloy's timeless book "Dress for Success" and the different coat 'vent' types: No Vent (Italian), Single Vent (American/Continental) and Double Vent (English/British). The lead time for a tailor is about 3 weeks, that's the only down-side... so it is best if you plan ahead of time before your actual wedding date. Located in downtown Santa Ana so there is street parking, but there is a small lot behind the building with only 5-6 spots.

I had a one-of-a-kind jersey that I wanted turned into a dress because it was huge. I showed the man a video of exactly what I wanted him to do with this jersey and how to turn it into a dress. All he had to do was cut the sleeves off so up the side and then reattach the sleeve. When I came in to pick it up, the sleeves were not cut, they're two different sizes, the neckline wasn't cut to size and I looked like the background dancers in the goofy movie with the broad shoulders. There's so much bunching in the top since I have smaller breast and I pointed that out on Monday and he just kept repeating "I cut where I pin" anyone can do that. So since he was only going to cut what he pins, which was not our initial discussion, I took the time to explain. Show him the video again. I made it a point to make sure that he was going to be able to do this the way that I wanted before dropping it off because I would've spent more time looking for places that were capable of following instructions. Thankfully, I recorded our conversation and reported it to the Better Business Bureau. They just kept repeating the same sentence over and over again to the point where I started yelling over them and they started calling me crazy because I didn't want them to "fix anything" and I wanted a refund. Still have a destroyed unwearable jersey and no refund.

At this point, I know of 5 different groomsmen groups that have purchased their sets from Raul, and there will probably be more coming at this rate. The suits are VERY affordable and get the job done for all of our professional and celebratory occasions.
