This Friar Tux location is great! I was fitted for a tux by Reggie, and he was super patient and explained each step of the process very well. My jacket size is between two different sizes, so he was very accommodating in letting me go back and forth between the two and was a great thought partner as we debated the pros and cons of both options. The only minor downside was the breaking of a shoelace: I rented the tux to wear for a choral performance and while getting dressed just before taking the stage, my shoelace snapped as I was tying it. My chorus buddies and I figured out a solution, and the show went on. My return date wasn't great, as I had to work on my return date and wasn't able to get back to the location on time. When I returned, I was checked in by Evan, who was incredibly gracious in waiving the minimal late fee after hearing about the situation. They were knowledgeable, professional, and really understood what sizing and styles worked best for my body type while still making sure everything was comfortable. Same week suit rental for a dance, but thankfully, the dance was on a Thursday. The measurements were professionally taken, intrastore transfer in 1-2 days. Must return the following day, so in our case, Friday before closing. We did not have much of a choice but pay $175 rental each for basic suit jacket and pants (no add-ons) because buying a suit at Macy's or Nordstrom's and then the time frame to tailor to suit would've been too late... plus my boys are going through random growth spurts so would've been a probable one time wearing anyway but not time and hassle. Used friar in SD for a tux for a wedding. Was smooth, got fitted it got delivered all went well. Paid a pretty penny but the ease was worth. Dropped it off in Orange and the dude Abraham Abrego was awesome and chill and made it mad easy. Also ran out and gave me something I forgot in there. 10/10 yall need to pay him more. read more

We have used this location of Friar Tux multiple times and always been happy with their services; but this was our first time having Evan help us. He was super attentive, listened to what my son wanted and was able to deliver exactly what he asked for. Evan was quick with his measurements, but didn't make us feel rushed, but also we did not have to be in the store for a long period of time. I had an amazing experience here and at the Anaheim location where I had to pick up extras and accessories as Anaheim is their storage warehouse. I had a wedding that included 7 rentals total and the process in renting them out and returning them was super smooth, not to mention how nice and high quality the rentals are! I would definitely recommend renting tuxedos/suits for big events here as their personalization for pieces online and rental process is so easy. The store was very clean & displayed multiple options for both rentals & purchase options. We decided to go with buying vs renting. The store manager Evan was so awesome!
