We went in today for our first fitting for our buddies wedding. They have a great selection for all occasions and the price range is wide. So you can go inexpensive or very lavish. I wanted the red velvet jacket but that got shot down. We were teamed up with Kimberly to get us all looking good. The shop was very clean and very busy being that it was a Saturday. Kimberly was very polite, professional and made us all feel like we were the only ones there. My buddies and I are not the most polite guys( not rude, but like to joke around). I honestly cannot thank the manager (sorry, I didn't catch her name) and Kimberly enough for all they did for us! There was an error in the computer and all our groomsmen got the wrong suit color, but Kimberly was there to save the day! She didn't even hesitate and began to see what she could do to correct this issue 2 days before our wedding!!! When we went in for the Tux the staff was awesome, when we went back for some questions it was a far less friendly experience.

Went there back in Feb for the groom choices for his wedding party and his fitting. In June 1 week before wedding called to confirm they said they didn't have his measurements, we had to go in. The day he was to pick up items he tried it on and pamts were to short he has to go back the next day to get a different one. Return was easy and value was good. Just make sure you get a print out of who you spoke with when doing measurement, the person that did ours quit but did all our wedding party selection. Go figure. read more

For some reason it did not go thru so we went inside the store and the staff took care of it for us, we just had to call him. The groomsmen all loved the fit and look of it all. I have used this company multiple times for many occasions, including my own wedding. Had a wonderful experience despite the fact that they are typically busy when people pick up their items. Each time I visited this location they were pretty busy, but their service was worth the wait. Everyone is very personable and patient even when they are multitasking. My tux for my wedding fit perfect the first time. My groomsmen also looked fantastic and despite some needing further adjustments for only 1 or 2 people they were quick to fix any fitment adjustments and did it with ease and a smile. Our wedding was perfect and part of that is thanks to Friar Tux. Payment was quick and easy, one swipe of the credit card and I was on my way. Customer service contacted me after my last review to make things right and give me the opportunity to give them another chance. After renting another suit for a wedding one month after my own, I'm updating the reviews on the Anaheim and Rancho Cucamonga stores - although my only interactions were mainly with the Rancho Cucamonga store. I'm giving a 4/5 rating because my overall review of the company is much better than my first experience and I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends to use for their wedding or whatever they need it for. At this point, I think my first experience can be boiled down to just a one off horrible roller-coaster based of some mistakes of newer employees, which probably shouldn't happen in this type of work...but with the current job market and turnover rate...it's understandable. There's not much to say this time around other than that the employees were all super helpful. The only reason it's not a 5-star review is that the dark red tie that I picked apparently only came on as a clip-on, which would be fine...but it was so short it sat above my belly-button. I'm 6'1" so it's not unusual or anything. I told the staff and all they said was that that's the only way it comes, they don't come in other lengths. And (in my head) I was like...umm ok then...guess I'll just use a tie I already have at home? But before I left I asked them if they have any other ties in any other colors that were regular ties since the clip-on would just have looked silly. They said, yes of course and went in the back to get it for me. Not sure why that wasn't the first response, but they were super busy so maybe they didn't realize how necessary it was since I didn't try it on in front of them? Again, I'm giving 4/5 overall as the suit looked great and customer service was far better overall this time. And the suit fit like it was supposed to. My bride and I went to Friar Tux tonight after a less than satisfactory visit to Men's Warehouse. We went into the shop just before closing and we were greeted by Claudia. Even with an appointment, both times my fiancé and I have come to this location the wait was over 2 hours. There was one appointment we came to where our order was not even to the store yet and we waited 4 hours for the order to get to the store. Our order had multiple mistakes that we repeatedly corrected at earlier appointments, yet when we came to pick up the tux's for our wedding, we received a different color than we had asked for. The Riverside -Tyler location is much better and we have always received much better service there. I will never be coming back to this location. Very poorly managed and terrible attention to detail in a business that really requires that you listen to what people are telling you (i.e. what color tux we want for our wedding). Update: I wish I could give this place 0 stars. After getting home and trying everything on multiple tux's were measured incorrectly and do not fit. We are getting married in 3 days and now have to scramble to get correct tux's AGAIN. This has been a nightmare. We will never do business with Friar tux ever again. read more

One of the best experiences I have had while renting a tux. I have been involved in multiple weddings and have went to various places to rent a tux. This company and location by far exceeded my expectations. Erica from day one won me and my wife over. She was so helpful and pleasant to deal with.
