I read other reviews just to see what people were talking about and our experience was nothing like the others. We came on Monday at lunch and it was wide open. The decor is nice much like other reviews said. We were at work so we couldn't test the drink theory. Everyone we spoke to was nice and cordial, maybe it's because I met them with a smile.... I ordered the lunch carnitas because that can usually tell you a lot about the food. I would suggest a little more seasoning while cooking them but not too far off. The charro beans were very tasty though and it's nice you don't have to pay extra for them. The rice is the best rice I have had in a long time, usually it just gets thrown away. Or service was great and he was on top of it. Our food came out pretty quickly and I believe Frita brought it out to us. read more

I normally love Frida's and have had great experiences at other locations, so this visit was incredibly disappointing. The Eagle's Landing location is beautiful, and the ambiance is one of its best features. Unfortunately, the service completely ruined our experience. Our server, Antonia, came across as unfriendly and seemed visibly annoyed from the moment we were seated. Every interaction felt rushed and uncomfortable, and her attitude made us feel like we were an inconvenience. Ironically, the food itself was good, as I've come to expect from Frida's. But when the service is that poor, it's hard to enjoy your meal. It got to the point where the entire dining experience felt so unpleasant that even the food didn't taste enjoyable anymore. Great service can make an average meal memorable, and bad service can ruin a great one. Sadly, that's exactly what happened here. I hope management addresses the customer service at this location because the restaurant has so much potential. read more

I'v been wanting to try out Frida's since they first opened and I am sorry I did. At first glance Frida's looks like a nice eatery, but on the inside I was treated like a heard of cows and shoved into a both in the bar area. I asked the waiter if they had any dish that wasn't spicy hot and he recommended the bacon wrapped chicken burrito meal... which turned out to be a flaming hot burrito from hell and some soggy fries to boot! Returned here on a Tuesday night for Taco Tuesday with my son. Parking was jam packed so this time we did have to use the "complimentary valet" as half the parking is reserved for this. We did have to wait a few minutes as there was only one parking attendant. We walked right in and were immediately seated. This time the ONLY thing we didn't like was the calamari appetizer so out of 2 visits we are 0/2 on appetizers. Def give these folks a try. read more

My husband, grandson, and I had lunch at Frieda's today, and while it was our first visit, it definitely won't be our last. We absolutely loved the recent remodeling--it's bright, welcoming, and has such a great atmosphere inside. Christian was our server, and he was incredibly attentive and offered fantastic recommendations. We started with the Eagles Landing Queso with steak, shrimp, and chicken. It was packed with flavor and such a generous portion that the three of us almost couldn't finish it. My husband ordered the Molcajete Burrito and loved it. My grandson chose the Texas Fajita Quesadilla and couldn't finish it either--it was that good. I had the Bridge House Special, which was huge; I took at least half home. I added mushrooms and corn based on Christian's recommendation, and it was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back and plan to bring more family members. I ate a late dinner with family and friends on a Saturday night at Frida's Grill & Cantina a few weeks ago and it was disappointing. Parking was tight and limited in the parking lot, but there was a valet service and free parking on site. I would not recommend bringing your kids here, but we were able to. They were busy and the service time was pretty long. They sat part of our party before we arrived and this may have been the cause for some of the delays in ordering and receiving food and drinks after we arrived. I appreciate them accommodating us, but it felt like the servers were overwhelmed and forgetful. There was a mix up with one of the drink orders, and my son's drink order was never brought out, although we all did receive water. It ended up leading to a few bill revisions at the end of the night. Our server was sweet but it was clear that the crowds were keeping her stretched pretty thin. The chips and salsa were pretty good, but the entree food seemed to lack flavor. I ordered a protein bowl with chicken, Spanish rice black beans, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes and it was just okay flavor-wise that night, but reheated pretty well the next day. Others at the table ordered steak fajitas, birria tacos and other protein bowls. I probably would not come back any time soon, and was disappointed especially after hearing that the food was pretty good via social media and at their other location. This has been an experience exclamation I have been to the other location and this one is brand new and smells super clean and the Mexican aroma hits your nose as you walk in the door. The colors in the ambience are great and it feels like you are more than welcome to have everything on the menu. The menu is extensive and I'm sure you can find something that you'll love here. They have happy hour and they have great margaritas for about five dollars and a great lunch menu for a quick pick me up. They just added a birria pizza to their menu and their Birria tacos can come on corn or flour tortillas which is a great thing because I am not a fan of corn tortillas in any capacity. This was my first time visiting Frida's and it did not disappoint! From their huge signature drinks and homemade entrees. If you're in Stockbridge, stop by for authentic food, huge drinks, and a vibe that feels like home. The portions are large so it's great for staying. We ordered the Giant Frida Mimosa, Giraffe Margarita, Texas Bowl, Birria Tamales Molcajete and the Brownie with Ice Cream. They also have happy hour during the week from 2-5PM. Stopped by here one Sunday (after my Son washed my and his Wife's car) wanted some authentic Mexican cuisine and margaritas! This place is newly renovated and is so lovely on the inside (haven't been since the name change/renovations)! The ambiance was cool, played all types of music (old school, reggaeton)! My Daughter In Law and I ordered the same dish, Bridgehouse special (grilled shrimp/chicken/steak/grilled bell peppers/onions and tomatoes on a bed of rice topped with cheese). I ordered the Nacho Grande with chicken but didn't care for the beans. The restaurant was kind enough to remake my order, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the replacement came out with a strong fish smell, making it unappetizing. When I brought it to the manager, Enrique, he simply told me that "all sales are final" and pointed to the disclaimer on the menu. His response lacked empathy and customer service, especially considering the issue wasn't just a matter of preference--it was about the quality of the food. Thankfully, our waitress was attentive, understanding, and went above and beyond to help resolve the situation. She completely turned the experience around with her professionalism. Enrique, however, could benefit from additional customer service training. I was really excited to try this Frida's Grill because I'd heard so many great things about the Fayetteville location. And now that I've actually been to the Fayetteville location myself? It's a million times better than this one. I don't know if they're run separately or what, but this location is not giving the same experience at all. My first visit here was rough, but I tried to give them grace since they had just opened. I came back a couple of weeks later hoping it was just new-restaurant growing pains. Same experience. And the crazy part? The food and drinks are actually good. That's not the issue. The issue is the service. The waitresses seem confused most of the time. Not even in a "we're super busy" way... just genuinely unsure of what's going on. Orders take forever, communication feels off, and the whole vibe feels unorganized. It's hard to describe, but it was enough to make me not want to return. I'd rather just make the drive to Fayetteville. The service there is smoother, the ambiance feels more put together, and the overall experience is what I originally expected. read more

This was our second visit, and since I had just reviewed the restaurant, I didn't plan on writing another one. I just planned on doing a quick check-in, but because of the stellar service we received from our server David I had to update my review to a 4.5 instead of my previous 3.5. He was extremely pleasant and attentive. He did not miss a beat! Wifey and I both ordered the 16 ounce Pacifico. This experience was based on my first experience at the Fayetteville location which was awesome.. watched several reviews before going however I did notice something which was similar to my experience at the Stockbridge location. It appears to me that the focus is on the drinks and the ambience rather than the quality of the food.. I truly wanted the whole fish dish but after the experience in Fayetteville my second time visiting it was a total disaster which I never returned, fish was overcooked and the red beans and rice tasted like , well I'm not really sure to be honest, so since the Stockbridge location is a newer location I thought maybe let's give it another try.. the atmosphere was nice but again I noticed that they cater to a certain demographic which love the loud music and adult beverages.For me it's a resounding no! It took about 20 minutes before we decided what we wanted to eat and after we placed the order the food came out about 15 minutes later and the lamb chops were undercooked and the scallops were tasteless last but surely not least the tamales taste like it was made In a lab.. hate to give this type of a review but if you're going to charge those types of prices which we didn't mind , the quality has to deliver! read more

I would definitely recommend this restaurant. I had the Texas fajita quesadilla--it was seasoned well, very flavorful, and really filling. The service was nice, and the drinks were also delicious. One thing I didn't like is the 5% surcharge for using a credit card (no fee if you pay cash). I was told it covers their card processing fees, which means customers are paying for their meal, the transaction fee, and still expected to tip. I also asked if any of that fee goes to the waitstaff, but there wasn't a clear answer. Overall, the food and drinks were great, but I think that policy should be more transparent. read more

To my black people (I can only speak for us) If you go in here and something feels off it's because it is. The ladies in here are not friendly, they are not your friend and don't intend on being one. I came through the door for pickup and said hello to a room full of (3) ladies and repeated myself louder when I didn't think they heard me, they all turned away one pretended to read a random magazine another turned her nose up and the other walked away. This is not my first encounter with them just the most recent. I've spoke to people thinking maybe I was a little dramatic but nope. This has happened to plenty of black people visiting. My friends and I were excited to visit Frida's Grill & Cantina today -- we'd been planning it for about two weeks and intentionally waited until 2 PM so we could enjoy their happy hour. Since it was our first time visiting, we figured we'd try the 1/2-priced margaritas and 1/2-priced appetizers. Unfortunately, the experience was a letdown from the moment we arrived. The happy hour menu only offered two or three appetizers and the same limited number of drinks. Still, we decided to make the best of it and ordered a cheese dip and a margarita. That's when we were told that we couldn't combine the specials -- we could only get either the appetizer half off or the drink half off, not both. On top of that, the margarita only qualified for the special if it was served on the rocks, not frozen. I prefer frozen, so I chose to skip the special and instead order a 64-oz frozen margarita for the table to share. Then we were told that wasn't allowed either -- they only offer the 64-oz margarita on the rocks, not frozen. By this point, we were all disappointed and honestly frustrated. A happy hour that restricts nearly every option isn't much of a "special", and feels very misleading. Unfortunately, this was not the experience we hoped for, and we will not be returning. read more
