I came here to get a pedicure and my nails done... the woman was rough on my feet. She made me bleed a couple times. But overall, she made them look nice and filed down the acrylic nicely. The guy who did my nails on the other hand,,, he did a wonky job.. He was also rough on my hands. On both my thumbs he made me bleed... the acrylic wasnt filed down nicely at all. I even had acrylic on my skin!!!!! In conclusion; It was NOT a great experience here. It's day 2 since i came here and both my hands and feet hurt!! And the grand total $90 for this mess... I found this nail shop around 2012 cus I used to work down the street. I would get a manicure and I liked it so I returned to get acrylic and Helen did an awesome job. She was so good I would come get my fills on my day off and drive all the way from harbor city!! Every time I was on my way I would call letting her know I was coming. I stopped going for like 3 months. I called and asked for her and said if she was available in half an hour the lady said yes she'll be available by then. I get there and I don't see Helen and ask for her, they tell me she left to her country because she had a family emergency, (I call bullshit) the staff was all new people! Plus that is what they always say to not lose customers. It's happened to me before, they say she's sick, left to their country or got pregnant! The 'receptionist' offered some lady, she looked a little old but thought she must have a lot of experience so I stayed since I had driven there already. The job the lady did was just ok. I've still to find someone who does nails as great as Helen! The fact that they lied gets them one star false advertising! I stumbled upon this place when I was in need of a manicure. Upon arrival there was a notice on the window stating that an appointment was needed in order to be served but that simply wasn't true. They took me in for a manicure and pedicure and then my friend was allowed in 30 min later. I ended up getting a full set of acrylic nails. The reason I only gave three stars is because there was only one person that always able to do acrylic nails. So when I needed a fill I was not able to be served for days because they don't have enough staff. It was also very difficult to reach the salon as they had a new number that was not updated on maps, google or Yelp. I ended up finding a place closer to my house that allowed walking and had enough staff. The staff was nice enough but not qualified or skilled enough to serve fully. I was told this would change soon but no date was given. read more

I would honestly give this place a 5 star review based off my first an only visit. I walked in on a weekday afternoon, not one person in sight, besides the one nail worker. I was weary and thought that was a horrible sign. It might just have been because it was 3 o'clock on a Tuesday. So I showed the guy a picture of what I wanted, and he did it! I was also concerned about there being no bag over the pedicure tub, and the spa chairs are dingy, but they did a fantastic job! The design that I wanted, a young lady did my toes, pedicure, painted in a nude color. She took care of my feet! For $13! Heels scrubbed, nails trimmed only, hot towel. I have issues with germs, dirty, or highly populated areas. This place at first sight put my inner alerts into full gear, but I also so happened to be working on it and letting things go, I normally wouldn't but it was a me-time moment without baby and I took the bullet. But it paid off! The guy did exactly what I asked for, the gel, like 5 days later is still on my fingers. I've had horrible experiences with gel in some places, with it coming off the next day, so I'm pleasantly surprised with because I wash my hands and rewatch them so much, and the gel is perfect! My expectations were low, but the quality greatly exceeded my expectations, and price was really good. $13 for pedicure and paint, $18 for gel with design. I've seen people charge per nail the design, most do. So I'll be back! read more

What a joke! I went 2 weeks ago and had the most amazing mani/pedi. I go today, the lady can barely speak English and they had to translate everything in their native language, whatever my pedi was amazing. Here's where it gets fishy. I had a gel mani and the guy there wanted to use the drill on my hands. So I stop him and say can you soak then off....here he comes with a bowl of acetone! Who soaks their hands in acetone?! Not me! So I ask for the standard foil and acetone soaked cotton removal. He proceeds unwillingly.... I'm not done, wait for it! This fool leaves....yes, by the time the lady was done with my pedi the guy is MIA! WTF?! So I'm like whatever, who is going to finish my mani cause I can't leave like this?! While the lady gets up to go look outside to look for the guy who I believe is her husband and there's not a soul in sight, she plays it off and comes back on like she was just closing the door! I'll be damned if this folio of a business owner doesn't walk back in with a bag of food and a drink saying "I was hungry"! Really you rude phuck?! You left me with cotton saturated acetone foil on my fingers like I'm not hungry too....fresh off work?! And I'm paying for this shit....and removed my gel by myself?! The lady knew to have him finish by polishing the old dried up jheri curl bat's hands she was doing cause I was about to walk. She charged me $42 for a job I helped do. This place is awesome. It is located a few miles from the 405 Freeway on Atlantic Avenue in north Long Beach area. The manicurists there are wonderful. Ask for Helen when you come in. She does an awesome job for my wife's nails and facials. Very friendly and personable people working there. The place has great parking spaces for its clients. I highly recommend this place. They accept appointments and walk-ins too. I notice that a lot of the clients there are happy repeat customers which is always a good thing. Give this place a try and you will be glad you did. HORRIBLE pedicure! a man did it and it looked like he was in a rush when there was no one even waiting.the only reason I didn't pay attention when I was there was because I had to go get my hair done quickly after. I asked for a pedicure then asked them to wax my under arms. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. The lady kept using this green cheap wax that I have never seen before and kept trying to wax one arm for about 8 times back to back! Overall i think this place is mediocre, clean, service is okay but very outdated. They can definately use a little remodeling and renew the nail polish selection. There is a couple new ones but most look old and tend to be real runny. However their gel manicure selection is fairly extensive and have good color choices. I frequent this place because it is very conveniently located, it is walking distance from my house. They do a great job with pedicures and manicures but the polish job isn't always the greatest. This is the worst nail salon ever ! I'm new to Long Beach so I wanted to try out a new nail salon. I left that salon with smoke coming out of my ears. First, the girl who was gluing the tips to my nails completely messed up. On one hand, the tips were very nice and even. On my other hand, the tips were thick and short. After I specifically asked her to please make my nails long. Then some guy took over. He put on the acrylic and he completely messed up. When he put it on, my nails were very thick and they were uneven. The acrylic was so crooked. I have never seen anyone out on acrylic that way in my life. My nails were completely disgusting. I was not happy with my nails at all. Worst place ever! I do not recommend this place. He was so rude. If they do not know what they are doing then I recommend they do not do it at all. I went to another place a block down and they fixed my nails. It took a very long time but they got fixed. I am so thankful someone was actually able to fix my ugly nails. read more
