Half hour passes by and I've called maybe about five times, and still nothing. It's been about 40 minutes now and they are still not answering the phone. And there is still nobody at the salon. The lady wasn't talkative she barely even said hello but besides the point my side of my big toenail is hurt and sore I can't even walk on my foot .she was taking my cuticles out with the "pointy part " of the cuticles pusher the whole time. My daughter and I made 2 appointments by text for 11:00am. I made sure to let the scheduler know my daughter had to be out by 1:30pm because she had work nearby at 2pm. We were scheduled for 2 pedicures. My daughter was removing and replacing her gel X and I was getting hard gel. The scheduler assured me there would be no problem time wise. My mind said 2 1/2 hours should be plenty of time. We arrived 5 minutes early and were told they were running a little bit late, but time would still not be a problem. So we awaited. The technician came and got my daughter and had her sit in a pedi chair. Then they came and got me. Tita was very nice and started on my daughter's nails. While someone else came and did my pedicure. First off, my toes were terrible. from the pedicure to the color. Anyways, when the technician was done with my toes, she began my daughter's. Another bad pedicure, but my daughter needed to leave. It was now 1:55pm. 2 hours and 55 minutes! My daughter left me so she wouldn't be too late for work. I stayed and instead of getting hard gel I tried the gel builder. It was just ok. Nothing more than a thicker gel. Here I am 2 weeks later and it's lifting. I was there for almost 4 and half hours total! I had to take an Uber home because ti took so long. Not to mention, the cost was outrageous! My recommendation fr this nail shop is, make sure the person scheduling is in the shop, not at home assuming everything is running on schedule. She really needs to value people's time. read more

I came in for a walk-in manicure and pedicure. The staff was nice enough to take me, and the salon was pretty empty, which I didn't think much of. The technicians didn't talk much during the service, which I didn't mind since I'm a bit socially awkward. My issue is not with the manicure that turned out fine. The problem started after the pedicure. What seemed like an okay job at the time ended up being much worse. That same night, I felt pain in one of my toes. I didn't think too much of it until the next morning, when I woke up with swelling and discomfort walking. Two days later, the side of my toe became visibly inflamed, and now there's pus a clear sign of infection. I'm not the type to leave negative reviews nor complain, but this situation has caused real discomfort and concern. I understand accidents happen, but I hope this helps others stay cautious and I hope the salon takes steps to avoid this happening again. My review isn't to talk down about this business nor its staff, just raise awareness for the future clients who deserve quality services. read more

She said her last client arrived late so that's why she was late. How about a text message saying you're running behind? I was a walk-in and had to wait approx. 20 minutes until someone was available. I had a nice set of acrylic nails and all I wanted was a color change and them to be rounded a little more. Somehow, that went from what I asked for to what I received. This was my first set of nails and I didn't realize until it was too late that the technician was removing my nails instead of what I wanted. My natural nails have grown out a little and they were manicured, and a new color was applied. I was getting use to having longer nails and will get a new set in the near future but not from here. I have been getting my nails done for over 15 years, and never have I had such a terrible experience at a nail salon. I called to see if they could take a walk in. They told me to come within 20 minutes for a full set and I arrived within 15 minutes. Then it took 30 minutes for the only nail technician there to get started on my nails. And then I received the worst set of nails I have ever had in my 15+ yrs of getting my nails done. She used so much powder to where my nails were incredibly thick, and now they are coming off within less than a week of getting my new set of nails at this salon. Not only that, I asked the technician over and over again to please file 3 of my nails that were way too thick and crooked. After 20 more minutes of filing with a nail file by hand, she set the nail file down. I then picked up the nail file and filled my own nails. She then asked if my nails were ok, after I had shaped them properly myself. My favorite nail salon is in Irvine and I should have just gone there. Red beauty is right by my house so I thought going there would have saved me time by getting my nails done there, but I could have gotten a perfect set of nails that would have lasted twice as long from the nail salon I love in Irvine in the amount of time it took to get the mediocre set I got at Red Beauty and Nails. It's absolutely ridiculous that the nail tech took over 3 hours to do a terrible job on a full set of nails. Even though the salon is right by my house, I will never go again and will tell everyone I know to never frequent this terrible business. FYI, my nails are already coming off within 5 days of getting a brand new set of nails. Save yourself the hassle and stress, just don't ever patron this terrible business. read more
