08/10/26 My goodness. Where has this place been all my life?! Walked up and let them know it was my first time here. My daughter and I were in desparate need of pedicures. Signed in at the screen at the receptionist desk. Was then walked over and seated at the massage chair. Was asked if we wanted something to drink and I asked for water. Then I was told that they serve complimentary Vietnamese iced coffee or iced matcha or mimosa. What?! At 2:30pm?! Love it!! We got the mini moment pedicure which is the standard pedicure. It was a great experience and my nail tech was amazing. No talking, just focused on getting it done. Lol it comes with a mini foot massage. Ugh loved it so much. I have found my forever mani/pedi place! We'll definitely be back to try the other pedicures. The place itself is beautiful, clean and inviting. The customer service is stellar 100/10 recommend. TLDR: Was hoping this would be as amazing as everyone on yelp makes it seem but unfortunately it's not a universal experience for all customers. I don't want to be annoying and be like wahh they didn't offer me a drink but tbh I was lowkey looking forward to that with my pedicure lol it's my day off and I was in the mood for a iced coffee especially a viet iced coffee but yea...read my review for details. Price: I initially wanted to get gel x mani and a gel pedi but once I confirmed prices over the phone I decided it was a bit too much. I was told that there is a $17 additional fee for any service if you decide on getting gel polish. You can buy a gel nail polish for that price or even less. I asked if I bring my own polish if they would charge the same and unfortunately they will still charge the same since it's a "service" of them putting on the polish. Bottom line, it's not their fault, majority of nail salons are inflating prices nowadays and it's of course due to the "service" or the "product" so yea just go along with it and no one will get hurt. Service: The girl that helped me was very nice and helpful, I was initially going to get a French tip pedi but she advised to just get the milky white I was thinking about since my nails were already pretty short. She did a beautiful job and I appreciate her honesty and not pushing me to get the French tip. I've worked with people who will push you to get something just bc they see dollar signs but she was truthful and genuinely looking out for my nails by even advising me to just let them grow. Okay the drink part, I saw on yelp they give complimentary drinks like iced coffee and matcha and was hoping I would be offered that but no one said anything so I figured maybe they only did that temporarily. I know you're probably like ok girl just get a drink somewhere else but no! I don't see too many places offering viet iced coffee while you're getting your nails done and that was a big part in my decision making process when deciding where to spend my money. I could've gone anywhere else, there was a salon down the street from me in LB but this place stood out to me. Anyway, I asked for a water bc I was parched but nothing else was offered to me. As I'm almost finished, I over hear another nail tech offer some ladies complimentary drinks and then I see a lady sitting across from me with a glass of champagne. I was confused bc I thought maybe you need to have a certain service to access that amenity. I asked the receptionist as I was checking out about that and she said "oh your nail tech is supposed to offer"...and then looks at me like I'm being annoying like..ok I'm just trying to get clarification. I am not trying to be problematic I was genuinely just wondering about it, she made me feel like a Karen for wondering and asking about that. I would've appreciated her responding more kindly and letting me know ok well next time we can offer you something or idk just not being weird about it like it seemed like they don't care about customer retention. read more

We made appointments a few days in advance. We were welcomed and seated at our stations quickly. I got an acrylic fill with gel polish. I loved the care and time taken. I was also pleased with the ombre design. My friend got a mani/pedi and was very happy. Finally, she has shiny fingernails just from buffing. She didn't even need clear polish. She said her pedicure was perfect. I was watching as she got her pedicure and knew for sure I would get one next time also. They also offered beverages and continued to check on their customers. I am a regular at Shape and it is the greatest nail salon I've ever come across. I will never go anywhere else! My sister took me here when I was learning to walk again and they pampered me and accommodated me in every way. Now I'm fully healthy and walking again and they still take just as great of care! When I call to make my appointment they get me in the same week, they always ask what I would like to drink and make the best coffees, my nails are always stunning and they truly pamper every person that walks through the door and it's the best experience! Trish and Nancy always pay great attention to detail, check in and ask for feedback frequently, and execute designed nails perfectly. They are also lovely to chat with and make me feel at ease. I went to today, my birthday. I requested classic manicure and a pedicure.Yuugata Matcha; the pedicure was done fairly well. The manicure was a disaster. The aesthetician had an attitude. A few minutes into the manicure the aesthetician didn't seem to know what she was doing. She butchered the actual cutting of She machine instead of She did not accurate, clean out the cuticles at all when she was done she walked away, and she never came back. I highly recommend not going to this salon, although it may look nice on the inside the service was terrible and at no point in anyone asked, how do you like your service? I sipped on the complimentary matcha while I browsed their expansive color options. They have all the cute and subtle colors that I love! She is so polite & friendly and gentle when applying anything on my nails. Jennifer takes her time and never rushes any procedure. I finally found the best place for mani & pedi. This place is clean, big, lots of parking, friendly staff and amazing owner as well. Brought my mom with me to get regular pedi & gel mani w/ designs. Staff and the owner are so patient and very knowledgeable. They answered all my mom's questions (I apologize for the nonstop questioning). My nails lasted a long time and it didnt even break! Officially found my go‑to spot. I really appreciate their patience and quality of service. I had just waxed my legs and couldn't use the scrub, so Kim kindly substituted a mask for my mini moment pedi. Both Kim and Nina were wonderful. As for Lily, who did my husband's matcha pedi, she unfortunately didn't remove his callus and focused more on the top of his foot. One area of improvement would be allowing the callus remover to sit a bit longer and concentrating on the heel, while also being mindful not to overuse alcohol on the skin -- speaking as someone who attended beauty school. read more

I was very disappointed with my service today. At first, everything was going great. The nail tech seemed very careful and precise with the prep, shaping, and overall design process. Unfortunately, as the appointment continued, the quality of the service declined. Her technique became noticeably messier, and she repeatedly nipped my cuticles, which was both uncomfortable and frustrating. The biggest issue came when I asked for the flower design I originally requested. I understand that detailed flowers can be difficult to draw on nails, and I do not fault her for struggling with it. However, I do take issue with being charged for a design that I ultimately did not receive. I even told her to stop attempting the flower, but she continued trying anyway. Customers should not have to pay for a design that was never completed successfully, regardless of the products used during the attempt. That said, I will give credit where it's due. The salon itself has a very friendly and elegant atmosphere, and the staff members were welcoming and provided good customer service overall. I just wish the actual service had matched the experience and pricing. read more
