I also want to note that there was a misunderstanding regarding the sizing of one set, but the feedback was received professionally and corrected quickly. I was very disappointed with my service today. At first, everything was going great. The nail tech seemed very careful and precise with the prep, shaping, and overall design process. Unfortunately, as the appointment continued, the quality of the service declined. Her technique became noticeably messier, and she repeatedly nipped my cuticles, which was both uncomfortable and frustrating. The biggest issue came when I asked for the flower design I originally requested. I understand that detailed flowers can be difficult to draw on nails, and I do not fault her for struggling with it. However, I do take issue with being charged for a design that I ultimately did not receive. I even told her to stop attempting the flower, but she continued trying anyway. Customers should not have to pay for a design that was never completed successfully, regardless of the products used during the attempt. That said, I will give credit where it's due. The salon itself has a very friendly and elegant atmosphere, and the staff members were welcoming and provided good customer service overall. The receptionist set up my pedicure chair and offered me a drink - the matcha was so good! My technician, Trish, was amazing. I went to today, my birthday. I requested classic manicure and a pedicure.Yuugata Matcha; the pedicure was done fairly well. The manicure was a disaster. The aesthetician had an attitude. A few minutes into the manicure the aesthetician didn't seem to know what she was doing. She butchered the actual cutting of She machine instead of She did not accurate, clean out the cuticles at all when she was done she walked away, and she never came back. I highly recommend not going to this salon, although it may look nice on the inside the service was terrible and at no point in anyone asked, how do you like your service? Absolutely love this place. This is my go to nail salon for my pedicure. It's clean and they do a good job. They place the pedicure materials on a pretty plate. I was also pleased with the ombre design. My friend got a mani/pedi and was very happy. Finally, she has shiny fingernails just from buffing. She didn't even need clear polish. She said her pedicure was perfect. I was watching as she got her pedicure and knew for sure I would get one next time also. They also offered beverages and continued to check on their customers. I sipped on the complimentary matcha while I browsed their expansive color options. They have all the cute and subtle colors that I love! New favorite nail spot! It was my first time here. At many nail salons, the packages often include callus removal, which I don't want because I have thin skin and no calluses. They usually are not flexible in letting me swap it for something else, and I usually end up either not doing the package or doing it but feeling like it's not a great value when I've skipped one of the services. They were super accommodating at Shape Nail Lounge and allowed me to swap the callus removal for a paraffin wax instead! I love this place :) After over a year of not getting my nails done I decided it was something I wanted to budget for again. I had a hard time finding somewhere to go since most of the designs I like are usually from IG nail techs but I wanted somewhere I could get my hands AND feet done. I've come here twice now and both times I've brought in inspo pics that I usually wouldn't take to a nail salon where I don't know any of the nail artists but their yelp page is full of well executed intricate designs so I figured I'd take the chance. My first time was with Trish, I believe was her name, and she saw my design and said "I will try" and she did and succeeded! She did the blue and brown design pictured. I also want to point out that both appointments I was randomly assigned a nail artist so it's nice knowing their talent is across the board and it's not just specific nail artists that can pull off certain designs. I'm one of those people that really struggles to speak up if I don't like something and today there were parts of my design i wanted corrected. My nail artist today (regrettably i did not get her name) encouraged me to speak up and at the end of the session she even thanked me for being honest with her. I cannot tell you how much this made me love this place more as it made my anxiety slip away. Both times I felt extreme giddiness going back to my car bc my nails were so cute LOL. This place is a little bit of a drive (not too bad bc i'm in lb) and I pass like 30 nail salons on my way there but it's worth it to go to them. Def my new regular nail spot :) read more

I have been looking for a nail place that checks all of my boxes ever since my "old school" never used a drill, shaped everything by hand manicurist retired. You just don't find many of those anymore. There were a couple of places that came close. I had nearly given up, but I am glad that I didn't. I recently found the Shape Nail Lounge. Here is what I love about Shape: 1. It is clean and classy in appearance. 2. They offer a drink to you when you sit... not just water, but a variety including Coca Cola. Score one for me! 3. They speak English, all of them, all the time around customers. I never felt "left out" of the conversation. BUT, if you don't want to talk, they are quiet too. They give you the option to relax. 4. They use good quality products. 5. The gel application is clean and my nails are well shaped. Thanks, Jennifer! 6. They are offering a discount in honor of their grand opening. Yes, I'll do a pedicure too! 7. They remembered my name from my previous visit, and followed up on how my nails lasted. I have a problem with having allergic reactions to some products, and Jennifer was concerned if I did okay with her last gel application. I did! (That's how I know they use quality products. ) They have fun pedicure choices. I do wish that the pedicure I get, the Matcha tea one, came with a longer massage. 6 minutes goes by way too fast. To get a longer massage, you are paying for the more expensive pedicure options. All in all, I really am happy with everything I have had done here. To top it off, I received a gift bag when I left!
