Anyone looking for a shuttle to Port Canaveral from Orlando, I strongly advice you to READ all the one star reviews for this company before you book their service because it's all accurate!!! Yes, they are cheaper compared to the other companies but this is one of those time you get what you pay for. My experience with them included their shuttle van not starting, to showing up at the wrong cruise line to pick me up, to not being able to get a hold of them. Throughout the whole experience I was constantly afraid of missing my cruise or catching my flight. Do yourself a favor and don't put yourself through that stress. In a perfect world they're probably "friendly", but in an imperfect world they're jerks. Paid the $80 for round-trip but our flight was delayed, which meant instead of us arriving at 11:00am we arrived at 11:58. I called them while standing in the isle on the plane and told them we are waiting to let them off the plane. He said he was leaving at 12:00 and hung up. I called him again when we got off and while asking directions to where we needed to go and he said 10 min and then hung up. We finally made it to where we needed to be at 12:20 and they were gone. Had to pay someone else $60 one way for two to Port Canaveral. Will never use again. read more

Were ZERO star available, I would definitely choose it. As said in the other two reviews, this shuttle will never wait for you, even if you show up on time as they required. The shuttle was supposed to pick me up at the Port Canaveral at 9:00 am. I kept calling them thousands of times and left two voice msgs since 8:40 am, no one answered my phone call or called me back. I got to re-purchase a shuttle service from Disney in order to catch my flight at 11 am. Guess what? I got a phone call from the driver at 9:40 when I was already on my way back to the airport, the guy said he is going to arrive in 20 minutes. So their rule is customers cannot be early or late or on time, but they can do whatever they want, without any refund for not showing up on time. read more

Shuttle was scheduled to pick us up at 9:30 from Port Canavral. The driver called me at 9:15 to tell me he was there. I explained we were just going through customs and we would be out shortly. He told me if we weren't out right away he was going to leave. (he was scheduled to pick us up at 9:30) I called him at 9:30 to let him know we were coming out the door. He left us!!!! We had to get on an airport bus which cost us $75. We arrived at the airport and guess who pulls up next to us - friendly transportation. Ironically we were there before him. I would NOT recommend them to anyone ever. He was rude to us. Their shuttle is cramped and uncomfortable and he plays loud music while on his cell phone. WORST shuttle service I have ever experienced! Small, crampled, uncomfortable seats...all while the driver is using his cell phone. We were all cramped in an old van and prayed to make it safely. Please do yourself a favor and chose a reputable shuttle company...this one is the worst! read more

I tried to book transportation from MCO to Port Canaveral for two people on their website where it said "$36 per person." After I hit the "submit" button, the page stayed the same with my credit card information and everything, as it wasn't submitted. So I had to book my transportation with another company. The next day, I got an email with nothing in the subject stating that the transportation was booked and that my card would be charged. In the email, it also gave me a time of when I would be picked up which was very inconvenient. I checked my credit card and noticed a transaction of $80 was pending. I called Friendly Transportation to cancel the reservation. The man on the phone was impatient and kept interrupting me. I asked him why it was $80 instead of $72 ($36 per person), he said the price was $56 and it was a special offer first. I told him that on the website said nothing about $56 or special offer and inquired again about the $80 charge on my credit card. He then answered that it was taxes which still didn't add up. He then changed his story to something about "when we get to the airport, there is airport pick up fee, all other companies do that." In sum, he could not justify the overcharge that was nowhere to be seen on their website. Eventually he agreed to cancel my reservation but he wanted to withhold $20 for "cancellation fee", insisting that it was "company policy," which again was not on their website or in the reservation confirmation email that arrived a day later. He went on to state that he was the supervisor and that his company was a 36-milllion dollar company that had been running for 73 years... I just had to pay the $20 to get this over with. I booked this shuttle service from Orlando international airport to Port Canaveral prior to reading the reviews. I don't know what made me read the reviews just a week prior to our scheduled trip...they all scared me half to death. Nothing but poor reviews and I was worried I would have the same experience and miss my cruise ship or our flight home. The shuttle arrived on time as they said they would both there and back, our driver (hector, I believe) was nice and courteous, helped with our bags, overall was a very nice driver. The only reason I am giving this review 3 stars instead of 5 is because of the size and condition of the shared shuttle. It was an older model 15 passenger van , but they crammed a lot of people in and it was aprox a 45 min ride to and from the airport. read more

Very Unprofessional / Rude / Scary (I would give it zero stars if the tool allowed this)... I really don't know why these guys got even any positive reviews on Google because if you look at Yelp and BBB you will see a huge amount of consistent and bad reviews all about the same thing; RUDE and Unprofessional people. (I think the positive reviews are relatives or friends of them)... I luckily never got in a car w/ these guys but here is the details of my encounter with them; I flew into Orlando International airport and headed to the ground transportation to look for my already pre arranged shuttle (not this company). The shuttle companies each have a pre arranged parking spot number of which they can park during specific times to pick up their fares. As I am heading there two of these Friendly Transportation guys crowd me as I walk out asking me repeatedly if I need a taxi. I said no I already had one. Then I looked and saw that there were these two black SUVs / Vans parking in the spot where I normally see my shuttle. When I look closer I realize these two SUVs/Vans belong to these two guys. So i asked them if they knew that any minute now the shuttle people would be arriving and would probably need to park there. The guy turns to me and rudely says 'This is my spot not his'. He had a thick accent but I could understand that (either Middle Eastern or Greek). Anyhow so I just walked off and waited for my shuttle - after about 5 minutes my shuttle arrived and had to park behind these guys SUVs/Vans. This was very inconvenient for folks to not be able to see the normal shuttle had arrived and not to mention we had to hike out into the road to get into the shuttle. Anyhow - now to the most interesting part - so our shuttle driver did inform the two guys that they were not allowed to park there unless they were doing quick load or unload (they had now been there about 20 mins shooting the breeze out front and accosting people telling them to take their taxi)... They responded to our driver by shouting and taking video and saying very rude things. Our driver just ignored them and took some picture of their vehicles including the DOT number so that he can check it later. Their guys freaked out on this - our driver had to shut the door because they kept aggressively approaching our shuttle. It was scary and very rude. As a side note - during this whole time the rude guys got a phone call from I am guessing a client because I heard them yelling into the phone - and then as they got off the phone i heard the guy tell the other guys about how stupid the client was because she didn't know where she was wanting to go. Really?? When I looked them up on BBB and Yelp and other review I was not surprised to see all the bad things. Stay far away from these lunatics. read more

This company is a total scam and has bunch of liars working for them! They deserted my fiance and I at the port. I continuously made efforts to contact the company as well as the driver to find out what time they were coming to get us with no response! We eventually had to pay $60 for shuttle service from a different company. Highly upset, I contacted the company to get information and a reimbursement on the additional charge but was told that I was contacted and someone informed me of the pick up time which is a lie, I have proof of my phone calls and text messages that I initiated to them with no calls received from them. They refused to reimburse my money and told me to contact the cruise line to receive the money because it was their fault for the delayed time in docking due to the storm. It's very disappointing that Country Inn & Suites at the Orlando Airport recommends this company to their customers. DO NOT USE THEM! I will never do it again and will inform as many as I can about my experience! read more

"Friendly transportation"is a VERY SHADY business!! BE AWARE!!! I wish there was -1000 stars ranking available. We landed in Orlando airport shortly after midnight. A "Friendly transportation" driver approached us and offered a ride to our hotel. As soon as we left Orlando International Airport we realized the driver was COMPLETELY DRUNK! He was so drunk he could barely pronounce words! He was constantly speeding and several times he was not even looking where he was going as he was talking to us barely missing ditches and posts while going 70 miles an hour on a highway. I am amazed we survived. It was a HORRIBLE and very SCARY situation to be in. My two children in the back seat of his gray van were petrified. I asked the driver how far our hotel was from the airport and he told us 40 min even though the hotel was only 20 minutes away. When I realized the driver was so drunk I asked him to pull over and let us out but he refused to do so and kept driving. It was dark out and we all were terrified as we did not know where we were going. Finally I desperately asked him to take us back to the airport and he did but took a long loop while making excuses about construction around the airport. When we got to the airport he asked us to pay $55. He did not want to take a credit card and kept asking for cash. We will never forget this horrible experience. We called the police shortly after and gave them the driver's license plate. Please everyone think twice before you get in any type of a public transportation service vehicle. read more
