Wait staff was pleasant and attentive. My burger was ordered very well done and came out pink inside. Offered to remake it. By the time it came back out, without my fries, everyone else was done eating. Everyone else got their dessert while I finished my meal. Manager that brought me my burger couldn't even apologize. Ordered the siracha burger and I think they purposely loaded it up with siracha because my mouth was on fire. Only reason they got 2 stars is because the waitress was very nice and it wasn't her fault. I saw she wrote down very well done. read more

So first off I come in and the table is dirty that they seat us at. No problem the waitress cleaned it. Then we go over to the game machine for the kids. Put money in and it eats it. The machine doesn't work. So we told the waitress it took our $5. Luckily the manager gave us the $5 back. Then our food comes out, cold, missing stuff. Just awful. Visited for dinner last week. Server was too honest. She brought out water and then said, "Sorry I'll have to get you another. There's a lipstick stain on yours." First off, eww. Second, I didn't need to know all that. These types of comments continued the rest of the night. She told us all about the customer who screamed in her face over a coupon earlier in the day. The food was mediocre. Burger was so thin and overcooked it tasted like cardboard. I've had nothing but bad experiences at this location. Ice cream is always melted upon arrival. They run so many coupons and specials that they're making themselves seem cheap. If you arrive to order take out ice cream in the last half hour before close they have the door locked and give you attitude. This location is beautiful inside. Lots of one or two stars and that has been our experience too. Service slow, food cold, orders wrong, reorders too correct, still slow and cold. How doesn't a region, district or corporate management not see these ratings and get involved? Seriously, we have given this place several tries over the past months and it's gotten progressively worse. It seems to be the kitchen or what ever goes on behind those walls. One thing I can tell you is going on back there is cigarette smoking by the near constant odor wafting through the dining room. And can someone tell me why they always come back and tell us the Clam Chowder is frozen and ask if we want something else? I really hope they can pull up from this nose dive. I've been a Friendly's patron since I was kid and there aren't many left. If they maintain the current trend I can see why they're disappearing. Super-lame today. 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon and they are out of fish and chips because the table before us "had a big order." The clam chowder, requested before the entree never arrived until dessert time because the kitchen was "making a new batch" for us. Over priced one scoop root beer float. So sorry to give such a low rating. This is the only sit down restaurant in the Gloucester Township Outlets. As a result, during this past 70 degree Saturday, they were so overcrowded and understaffed. When you know it's going to be a nice day at the outdoor mall, call in reinforcements. Told us the big kid meals didn't come with a fribble, when the menu clearly said they did! I asked for a refill on my iced tea two times and it was never refilled. We started out with 2 appetizers for a table of 6 and she brought us out 3 appetizer plates. We're we supposed to share plates?! Welcome to the world's most understaffed restaurant. With only one person in front of me, getting only two cups of ice cream I waited 25 minutes to even place my ice cream only order. While I waited, I observed numerous customers walk in to no one at the hostess stand. The phone would ring and ring and ring. I watched two tables desperate to pay their check- to the extent that the gentleman had stood up to make it clear he was ready to go. No one seemed to have any hustle or pep in their step, nor care. The girl who I assume was the manager actually came out to see the swamped front of house, and told the poor kid drowning at the ice cream counter she'd be in the back for awhile doing something else. Terrible service and food portion. The bathroom was out of soap. I told multiple waitresses, which they said they informed the manager. 15 mins goes by and nothing. Then I finally spoke with the manager. He said he added a full refill in the morning, I said nothing came out I tried multiple times. His answer was " It worked for me, guess the soap dispenser likes me more". So unprofessional and rude. Onto the food, I ordered a quarter pounder. It was such a joke. The fries and everything doesnt even add up to quarter pound. I will not be coming back to this outlet if Friendly's is the best they can offer. read more

There aren't many dining options at the outlets, so Friendly's it was. As soon as we walked in I was very turned off by all the trash on the floor by the hostess stand. Like so much trash it was pretty shocking. There were several waitresses around, and a broom in plain site so I have no idea why it wasn't cleaned up. The restaurant was busy, but not totally packed. We waited almost 10 mins for a waitress to come over. We ordered and received our food very quickly. The food was fine, it is always the same quality and taste to me. The waitress never cleared any of our plates even when ordered ice cream. The best part was when I needed to use the restroom and there was no toilet paper in either stall. I went back out and ask the manager for toilet paper, proceeded to wait another 10 mins for her to bring some to the bathroom. Never happened. My husband had to ask her again, and she finally got some toilet paper for the bathroom. Will never go back there again. read more

Consistently bad service. I wrote to the manager on Facebook informing them that we have had bad experiences on Black Friday. They asked that we give them another chance and they did not disappoint in proving there have not been any improvements since our last visit. Several waitresses passed right on by our table and the person I imagine was the manger smiled at someone in our party and also passed on by. A waitress eventually waited on the table in front of us who came in after. The manager said that it was a misunderstanding. Even if it was he did not really seem to care and it doesn't excuse the poor service we received from the door. If you really want Friendly's I would just drive over to Deptford. I'm waiting for the cameras to come out because I think I'm being Punk'd. We were promptly seated and left to sit over 15 service was awful. I asked for the manager and waited 5 more minutes, she offered to get us drinks right away, less than 10 minutes later we were served glasses of kind of cool tea with no ice . By the time we were there 50 minutes our burgers were served, admitted they were room temperature and the orders were wrong but the waitress was busy sharing lunch with her boyfriend, he was seated and served very promptly. The cutlery at our table was sticky and our waitress was no where to be seen. The manager was nice enough but kept making excuses for inexperienced staff and her being new too. This Friendly's is a DISGRACE. Me and my boyfriend love Friendly's and he is a restaurant owner and I am a server and I have NEVER experienced anything like this. We are never picky, impatient etc. because we understand what it's like HOWEVER, when you have zero tables (we were the only ones in the whole restaurant) and half the tables are filthy, not bussed, there is no excuse. Silverware was dirty, soup was cold, food was fine honestly, but the atmosphere was horrendous. The entire staff sat in the corner and stared at us for coming in (we got there at 7:15, they close at 9). VERY unprofessional. Ontop of it all our waiter would drop things off and disappear. This place is horrible! Let me begin with the fact that the tables were dirty after the debris from previous guest was removed the table was wiped off with a sticky cloth and left sticky residue behind, YUCK! The service was horrible the wait time was way to long, my grand-daughters got their meals and I still had to wait even longer!! After a long wait the food better be good right? The mini burgers were so over cooked hard and dry the girls did not eat them and my rice bowl was presented as a bowl of slop with 3 tiny pieces of chicken I never seen anything like it in a restaurant. It doesn't stop there we and the other guest could hear the kitchen staff arguing and cussing one of them came out and slammed a chair! They don't even deserve one star! The service here is by far the WORST SERVICE that I have ever had! The place is run by teenagers that sit around talking and playing on their phones. The manager is no where to be found and if you ask for him/her, another teenager comes out and he/she is useless! You wait forever for your food and when you finally get it, the food is a joke! Also, forget about getting a refill on your drink too. Be smart and don't waste your time going to this Friendly's to eat! Me and my wife and kids went here for a nice dinner and turned out to be a disaster. It wasn't even busy, it was us and two other tables and the girl didn't give us utensils. Come on man how the hell am I going to eat Coleslaw or chicken without utensils!! Lumberjack breakfast; scrambled, sausage, French toast, coffee, child's chocolate milk 1 adult, 1 child Moderately busy; 5 active downs average in store -Store opened late (Google incorrectly says 9, but it was after 10) -Two servers trying to run the store (and a cook, I assume) -Waited over 15 minutes longer than the order taken immediately before ours, despite having a simpler order. -French toast arrived too cold to melt butter, and overly browned. Syrup was refrigerator cold. Eggs were hot and fresh, sausage warm. -No offer of coffee warm-up or meal status check -I only mentioned the unsatisfactory French toast when a go box was offered, and the reply was she'd see what she could do. (I'm not a very picky customer, really, but this was a redeeming factor). The second server (perhaps a manager?) came over and said she'd made the French toast and didn't understand how it was cold, but would we like it remade? Or some ice cream? To go? (Another point scored) -waited for the check, which was dropped after the ice cream. -waited another 15-20 months for check pick-up, finally gave up, as three year old (whose ice cream was likely melted) was growing antsy and replaced my credit card with cash. I still tipped (using the original total, not the 50% weekday discount) because so much of the negative was due to apparent understaffing of both the floor and kitchen (or is it normal for a server to make French toast?). I'd say the problem here is management, and possibly that the mall owns the store (a fact overheard in conversation with an employee from another location as we left). Don't even bother - we were told 40 minute wait, 4 people with (1 handicap) stand at the door and wait while at least 10 tables available with 4 or 5 unbussed. Hostess & manager kept saying we had to wait on the kitchen, so couldn't be seated at empty tables!? Horrible! read more

I just left the restaurant after having the worst experience. We were seated right away but totally ignored by the waitress. We waited 15 minutes with no help finally the manager walked over and I told him we were waiting for 15 minutes with no help at all. He told me we would be taken care of and the table directly behind me seated a group of four and the waitress went right over and took their order and we were ignored once again. We got up and told the manager that the whole situation was wrong and totally rude. He didn't even care and told me yo have a good night as I walked out the door. I went there last Black Friday and had awful service but I was willing to give it another try but this time it was even worse. I stepped into this location with company at 820 and was told we could only place Togo orders which we were fine with so we waited in line. Once we reached the front of the line we were told that we were past the Togo order time limit and that we could only place an order for ice cream to go at this time after waiting for almost 15 minutes without a last call for Togo food. Not to mention there were customers at a nearby table that were still being served without hesitation. First and last time ALMOST dining here and will not be back especially after the rude looks at one another and not so secretive commentary about the time we decided to dine in. read more

Then spoke with the general manager who clearly is unprofessional and is the reason this location gets such bad reviews. Also the GM asked if anything additional was going to be left, practically asking for a tip? Your rude, inefficient and now you believe you deserve a tip? Cloe, Katlyn and the GM Sherry I would just like to shout you out as being so incompetent that you can't even work at friendlys and be mediocre.... smh... First time at this Friendly's location. Horribly dissapointing! Walked in to see eight...yes...eight un-bussed tables full of food scraps and dirty dishes. We were asked to wait about 15 minutes before being seated in the middle of the mess of dirty tables which were not cleaned off until we were about to leave. Waited for service for longer and saw others being waited on who were sat after us. Served food with no napkins even though the waitress caused a drippy mess when delivering our items. We were a party of 2 adults...restaurant not very busy. It's ashame. If managed correctly, this place could be a smash with the draw of the outlets. Last visit for us. read more

The waitress didn't seem like she wanted to be there, the food came out cold and the mini burgers I got for my son tasted like they were straight out of a freezer box, my boy is a great water and wouldn't finish a quarter of the burger but did eat all the apple sauce. Nothing on the order was by any means fresh or hot. Just a waste of money if you are looking for dinner. Also when I am out to eat with my family I often am the one to change my boys diaper, I know there is a changing table in the woman's room, but there was no place for me to change my son in the men's room. read more

Service was terrible. We were sat right away, however our server had a babysitter problem and we weren't told about it. We waited 15 minutes to order a drink, which was a diet coke. It tasted like syrup. It took me 10 more minutes to change my drink. We still hadn't ordered yet. Our server finally showed up, and took our order. It took about 25 more minutes for our food to come. Probably the worst experience I've ever had in the restaurant. I went there with my grandson and wife, sat down right away, took 20 minutes to get a glass of water. We ordered and the food took another 20 million bytes or so to come. Food came, we had no utensils or napkins. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup figured play it safe in a restaurant of that type. It was awful, the soup taste nothing like a tomato soup It tasted like a bowl of starch. The grilled cheese sandwich was just like eating a greasy sponge. Truly inedible. My grandsons mac & cheese and hotdogs was cold and awful, even a 3 year old refused to eat it. My wife's club sandwich according to her was edible....... That doesn't say a lot. The young waitress was trying but was very inexperienced. Stay away from this place, opt for the good court, better good choices and the service will be better and probably cheaper. read more

We stopped in for dinner at 6:50 on a Saturday night. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait even thought there were at least 10 empty tables. We were told the wait was for the "kitchen". After 25 minutes we were seated and then ignored for another 10. Not even a drink order. There were a ton of people, including the manager, cleaning tables but no one came to us. If the kitchen is short staffed, GO HELP THE KITCHEN! We eventually got up and walked out. They watched us but no apology. Two stars because it was clean but obviously I can't comment on the food. Took my 20 month old son with food allergies for lunch yesterday. We've eaten here before - always order the same item, chicken grillies with fries. I informed waitress of his allergy to peanuts, egg and dairy, so that she could let the cook know. When the food came out, the chicken looked as if it had been cooked in something - butter or egg. We've ordered this 20 times so I know what it typically looks like. I re-checked with waitress and she assured me it was cooked plain. I should have trusted my instincts. After a few chicken bites, my son reacted to it and threw up everywhere (his reaction when he comes in contact with egg). My husband had to give him Benadryl, luckily it didn't escalate and we didn't have to give an Epi-pen. No one offered help, workers there acted as if they didn't even see the vomiting and kept it moving. Terrible experience. I never give reviews, good or bad, but this was absolutely awful. read more
