My daughter ordered the bacon cheeseburger and she said hers was delicious but her tastebuds aren't that sophisticated (lol). The best thing about our meal was the ice cream sundae and the service. What's not to like about Friendlys?! I love this location in the outlet mall. It's perfect for a treat after shopping. The dining room is a good size. The bathrooms were clean. I don't have high expectations but I do expect at a minimum to be able to enjoy a meal. I recently visited this restaurant at the request of my kid. I walked in the restaurant right behind a family of four. In fact the mother held the door for me. She put in her name and was offered a table at the door that was dirty. The chairs were scattered trash underneath the table. The table had seen a better day! The lady declined the table and was told she would have to wait 10 minutes for another table . I walked up and I was offered the same dirty table at the door. I too declined the table. But I was told that I needed to wait 15 - 20 minutes for a table . I said okay no problem. Then I was told that they stop seating guests at 7:45. I didn't understand why that was relevant since the lady in front of me didn't get the same speech. I kindly told the young person okay no problem. I said long as we get seated I am fine. He said I can't guarantee you will get seated . I said I am confused it is 7:15 pm and you said 20 minutes max. I said what is the problem. He said well I can't guarantee if you wait you will be seated he said but you can get take out if you don't get seated. I said so you are telling me I can wait here and you tell me I can't get feed unless I get take out. He said yes. Clearly this young man was lying. So I was even more upset since I drove past another Friendlys to come to this one with gas being $10 a gallon. But I have to set example for my kid. So we left. I won't be back. read more

Cleanest Friendly's I've ever visited. Like an oasis in the middle of Gloucester Premium Outlets, it provided shelter and sustenance when I had had enough shopping and just wanted to get off my feet and quell the emerging late afternoon hunger pangs from dodging lunch. Friendly service, and a reasonably priced patty melt with waffle fries were exactly what I needed. The surprise free sundae put a creamy smile on my face. Sure. Today I came in with a group of 10 for a trip with special needs students. Simply wanted to get ice cream and celebrate the end of the year. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately told that we were not able to be seated or served. There was one other party in the whole place. Empty. We were rudely told we should have called before. We offered to split up our group and told the manager we only wanted ice cream. He refused us and lost business for 10 people. I think this was completely ridiculous and terrible business. So because there was a problem in the computer, he would've take the card and credit me for the $4.23. This was very poor customer service. His attitude was "Oh, well. There is nothing I can do." Ordered a $5.55 chicken sandwich with waffle fries. The chicken was rubbery. My server forgot the waffle fries and initially gave me regular fries. The regular fries were awful and tasted very old. One star is generous. I work in the outlets and we were given menus by a Friendly's employee saying that they now deliver to the stores of the outlet. I called and tried to place and order only to have the girl on the phone say "No. We don't deliver." I asked her to make sure, I knew I wasn't going crazy when I vividly remembered their employee dropping off menus saying they deliver. After being put on hold for about five minutes she picks up the phone and says "Oh, actually our GM says we do deliver to other stores"....The good thing is that our food came quickly, but the girl that dropped it off was on her cell phone making a personal call and hands me my food saying "hey Maddy, here's your food." Food was cold but I sucked it up and ate it. People behind us that came in after us got their food wat before us but never got their drinks ..ladies next to us waited 30mins for a salad and when it came out it was the wrong salads and the right ones took about another 20mins. Nothing goes with shopping quite like ice cream, am I right? On a recent mother-daughter trip to the outlets, we decided to consume all the calories we'd burned running from store to store in a single spoonful, and Friendly's was there with sundaes to do just that. This is by far the cleanest Friendly's I've ever been to - its new, and still spotless. We perused the food menu which offered standard fare, but decided to leave all our calories for the ice cream. We quickly settled on sundaes - a classic banana split for mom, and a PB Cup for me. I ended up with the wrong sundae (although it was very similar, another peanut buttery flavor), and when the fellow working the ice cream counter realized that, he made me another to take home - that is absolutely the best service I've had at any Friendly's, and better than most other restaurants, too. I don't typically give chains 5 stars, but the service, especially from the ice cream counter, completely won me over. The sundaes were also among the best I've ever had - this guy took his job very seriously, and mixed up plenty of toppings with the scoops, leaving me with heaping spoonfuls of syrup and pb cup pieces. One star is being generous. I've been to this Friendly's twice now. First time, took almost 3 hours. Today, tried to go with my husband hoping the service was better since the first time. Nope. We were sat and for a while only saw the one staff member for about 15 minutes while we waited for someone to acknowledge us. Other tables that came in after us were settled with drinks and ordering. Then the manager came to us and got our drink order and said our server will be right with us. She went in the back and suddenly another server showed. And two bus boys! (Where were they?) Took our order. I ordered a cup of soup and an entree. 20 min later my husband asked about my cup of soup. The server rolled his eyes and said he would get it. Came out shortly with soup. No utensils or napkins and he dropped it and disappeared. All that, and it was the wrong soup. Tried to find any employee to get it corrected and no one in sight. Waited another 5 minutes. Still no employees. People were lining up at ice cream counter and front podium. Still no employees. We got up and left. Managment needs to get involved and fix this terrible place.
