Fishamajig SuperMelt
Nary K.

Reminds me of school cafeteria type food. I would rate it a 2.5 stars because of the sundae. I ordered the fishamajig melt (fried pollock with cheese and tartar sauce on white toast). It was good to curb my appetite but I wouldn't order it again. My husband ordered the smash burger and it was good. My daughter ordered the bacon cheeseburger and she said hers was delicious but her tastebuds aren't that sophisticated (lol). The best thing about our meal was the ice cream sundae and the service. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The place looks like a typical diner. Clean dining area but the bathroom seen better days.

What's not to like about Friendlys?! I love this location in the outlet mall. It's perfect for a treat after shopping. The dining room is a good size. The bathrooms were clean. I did a take out sundae since it was pretty crowded. They have the best peanut butter sauce! The ice cream is very good. The regular sundae is good to share too. Also if you join the rewards program, you get a free sundae for your birthday!

There were lots of unfavorable reviews, but my family had a pleasant lunch today The waitress was very friendly, service was fast, and the food was what I would expect at a Friendly's. Oh, and the Mozzarella Sticks were the hottest Mozzarella Sticks I've ever had.

A Bacon Cheeseburger

The food was cold and took 2 hours to get to the table it was just 2 of us nobody else was here and the food had bugs

Closed at 4:45 on a Friday because the local manager is apparently to stupid to think outside the box

I have no idea how crappy the food is because the service is so f'n awful I walked out like 2 year ago because I was told at 6:45 "sorry we close at 7" Thought I'd try today so drove 25 minutes to the closest location not realizing it was the same awful Friendly's Walked in and saw a few families eating and the host said "sorry can't take an orders because our system is down. It will probably be 20 minutes" I said "ok I'll sit here and wait". He rolled his eyes super annoyed a customer would want to wait for ice cream Now I understand things happen, but imagine being so incompetent as a manager or owner that you can't figure out a work around. I then watched a couple dozen other customers walk in, be told "sorry" and walk out I figure they lost several hundred in revenue on a slow Friday afternoon out of sheer laziness and incompetence Gosh if only someone was smart enough to say "hey let's figure out how to make this work!" and maybe tell customers "our systems are down right now, but we can accept cash if you're interested. By the way, the closest ATM is there" Nah just accept defeat and turn away willing customers Anyhow after about 15 minutes of being completely ignored I walked out. Not even offered a water Talk about a complete shit show with zero employees with an iota of customer service If you're the owner you should immediately fire the local manager I hope this location closes down. It's an embarrassment Please do not go here. They don't deserve your business

1 star is generous, I wish I could leave it in the negatives for this place. I was sitting in my seat twiddling my thumbs playing candy crush for about 15 minutes waiting for service. The mac n cheese bites were absolutely rancid, they would have tasted better if they used canned cheese wiz and cat feces. The waffle fries were harder than my own teeth, if I ever go to prison I'll be sure to bring one with me to use as a shank in the showers. Cheese burger was pretty nice though.

Cleanest Friendly's I've ever visited. Like an oasis in the middle of Gloucester Premium Outlets, it provided shelter and sustenance when I had had enough shopping and just wanted to get off my feet and quell the emerging late afternoon hunger pangs from dodging lunch. Friendly service, and a reasonably priced patty melt with waffle fries were exactly what I needed. The surprise free sundae put a creamy smile on my face. Sure. I've had better, but Being There was Everything this day!

Burger runn Cheesesteak…read more I've been told repeatedly to try the cheesesteaks here. On a previous visit I had the burgers and I thought they were very good. Though at my visit today I discovered they use Martin's potato rolls for the burgers. The place was a former deli and is tiny. I was greeted at the door and they took my order. Cheesesteak fried onions provolone. My go to order. The floor is tiled and slippery and I almost fell several times. It was around 4:15 so I thought I beat the dinner rush but apparently everyone orders from here on DoorDash or Uber Eats. At least a dz orders were picked up while I was waiting. I thought the wait was a little long.... But I stood there waiting for my sandwich. Finally a woman from the back come up front to address a problem with a chicken order and asked what I was waiting for.... A cheesesteak I replied and the counter woman that took my order grabbed a bag that was sitting in the pickup pile and handed it to me Alex? She asked yes I replied. I took my sandwich and got into my truck. At a red light I reached over to feel the bag... it was Luke warm. I expected my sandwich to be piping hot. Ggggggrrrrrrr. That is why I ordered at the place but the nearly 30 minute wait with the undetermined amount of time it was on the to go counter will you get the picture. On my arrival at home I opened the sandwich and snapped a photo. At this point it was barely warm. I prepared it with ketchup, hot pepper hoagie spread and my last slices sweet horseradish dill pickles. The first bite was underwhelming. Barely warm and the roll which was supposed to be sarcone's tasted more like amoroso. Onions were diced into fine cubes and I prefer more than the tiny amount provided. Overall taste was good but because it was nearly cold hard to actually evaluate. The overall sandwich had enough meat and a good meat to bread ratio. I found no trace of fat or grizzle. Maybe if circumstances were better I would have been happier but it did not reach the hype.

Parking was a challenge on a Friday night as every space was full and turning around in the back lot involves making a k turn around the other vehicles who are also looking for a spot. We ended up parking down the street and walking over. We were seated immediately, as the bar has ample seating, both high tops and regular tables. My bff wasn't in the mood for a cocktail so we opted for Arnold palmers. Now, I am a HUGE avocado fan and I had heard about their infamous avocado fries so I was super excited about trying them. That may or may not have been the main reason for my visit. The avocado fries are fresh large slices of avocado breaded in panko and fried with a sweet and tangy spicy mayo sauce. I loved them but my bff wasn't as excited. He informed me he isn't a huge fresh avocado fan, so this one is for the avocado lovers. We also opted for the chicken parm rollers which is described as "Chicken mixed with ricotta cheese, herbs and spices rolled in panko breadcrumbs served with house made marinara and shaved parmesan" - they are chicken meatballs. We expected something else and now that we've had them and I re-read the description I'm not sure what we had in mind but it wasn't this. They were just okay. I think if they were placed on a plate with seasoned whipped ricotta and drizzled with pesto it could boost the flavor experience. For our entrees my bff got the chicken strips with the sweet and sassy sauce and I opted for the KO burger. My KO burger was delicious. The seeded brioche bun was buttery and fresh and the burger itself was flavorful. The fries were also fantastic. Fresh cut and sprinkled with a sweet seasoning, I didn't even feel the need to add ketchup or a side of aioli or anything. They were perfect. I didn't try my bffs chicken tenders but the sweet and sassy sauce tasted just like buffalo sauce. Pretty sure it was the wrong sauce but he didn't say anything to our server so that's on us. If you are looking for a bar to hang out and watch sports, get a drink, and have a great burger, I'd recommend this place - but maybe uber there.

The…read morefood is consistently very good -- the burgers are huge, the fries are amazing, and the crab fries (made with real crab meat) are absolutely delicious... and that's coming from someone who doesn't even like crab all that much. One of the most fun things on the menu is their chicken "thumbs," which are shaped like little hands -- I wish I took a picture because they're great and definitely something you don't see everywhere. Service can be a little hit or miss, but not because the staff isn't working hard -- it's a big place and when it gets busy, it really gets busy, and they sometimes seem a bit understaffed for the rush. That said, everyone is always very friendly, which makes a big difference and keeps the experience positive. They also have a huge bar with several beers on tap, great specialty drinks, and drink specials, so it's a great place to hang out with friends and have a good time. Overall, definitely worth a visit. Just maybe don't go if you're in a big rush -- go when you have time to relax, enjoy the atmosphere, and have a good meal.

Apparently, they go through 15 gallons of it every week. More on that in a minute. I took my cheesesteak over to Death of the Fox Brewery. Why? Because the two breweries that were closer happened to be closed. Their loss, my gain. I love Death of the Fox, but that's a story for a separate review. First, I sampled the meat, cheese, and onions by themselves. Pretty darn tasty. Next, I tried a bite on the toasted garlic roll. Very pretty darn tasty. Then I added the habanero sauce. Now we're talking. Very, very pretty darn tasty. If you've followed my cheesesteak adventures for any length of time, you know I'm not exactly a hot sauce guy. I was expecting some serious heat, but I'd describe this as more of a sweet habanero with a pleasant kick. Best of all, I suffered no repercussions afterward--a minor miracle. The cheesesteak was excellent, the garlic roll added another layer of flavor, and the habanero sauce tied everything together. I got the double bro and I really enjoyed the flavors, but the meat didn't seem like it was cooked recently or something? It was a little grayish and not very hot which was a little questionable since we got it quickly after it was ordered. Like I said, flavor was still good, it just didn't seem super fresh which was surprising after so many positive reviews. Next the chicken fingers. Let me just say the chicken was cooked perfectly and they were SO tender, but the breading lost me. Again, it seemed like they had been sitting out or something? The breading wasn't super crispy, it was kind of like the oil from frying had saturated the crisp and that's how they dried. They just looked pretty different than the pictures I saw that people posted. We ordered spicy ranch and hot honey to dip in. The spicy ranch was so delicious, but the hot honey was almost pure hot sauce. Not bad just not what I was expecting as I was hoping for more of an even balance of the two. Have no complaints about the service or ambiance, like I said I'm just hoping the food was a little bit of an off night and am just confused since we got the food quickly! I'd try it again to see if it's different next time because again, the reviews are so great!

I placed my order online and only had to wait a few minutes when I was there. One thing I wasn't nuts about was seeing a bunch of fries already packed sitting under a heat lamp when I got there. A young gentleman was packing the to go orders who seemed a little flustered which made sense cause it seemed there was a rush happening, but wound up forgetting to give me the side of cheese sauce I ordered. I should have checked myself so it's a little on me, but I did make it a point to ask him if it was in the bag and he said yes. When I tried the fries at first, they were actually excellent. Perfectly warm, crispy, and salty however after sitting out only for about 5-10 minutes, they took on a texture of staleness which was disappointing but I suppose it's from already sitting out under the lamp. I feel like if they were made to order, they'd probably stay fresher a bit longer. I got the roast pork sandwich with provolone and roasted red peppers which was very good! The pork was seasoned well, a little peppery which I love. Roasted red peppers were good too! As much as I loved it, it was absolutely swimming in juice or oil from the peppers so it was extremely messy, but again, delicious! We also ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich called the hoagie which was great. They make a wonderful cutlet! I'd for sure come back, but maybe skip the fries next time.
