Combo lamb and chicken with a side of bread and kabob. 30 with deliver...
    Dakota M.

My coworker suggested this to me after I said I was craving Kabob's today! He had gotten them a few weeks ago and said it was a place that did delivery so I didn't have to drive out and pick-up. They partner with GrubHub on Yelp. I ordered 3 kabobs, as I will be eating this all weekend (and to reduce those delivery prices + Tips). I got a side of bread (as it didn't come with bread). The price of everything, with delivery, in the photo is about $30. The side order of bread: they give you sooo much of! It's very tasteless. The chicken and lamb kabob's looked really good. They are charred on a few sides like they should be! They are cooked to be moist inside, but lacks flavor. Doesn't taste like it was marinated at all. Not even salt or peppered. The green sauce that is pictured, is very flavorful! Has a little heat to it, but not overly spicy. I've been putting it on EVERYTHING. The salad is just loose mix lettuce with a couple sliced cucumbers and tomatoes. I was very Shocked that everything is separate charge. Normally, when I get Kabobs, it comes with rice, bread and a side like salad/chickpeas/lentils. I was really hoping for the skewered onions and tomatoes like the pictures on the yelp page lead you to believe. But I suppose those are just "advertisement" photos. Notice the difference between the bread in the advertised photo's and the triangle pieces they sent in my photo. I would have liked some grilled veggies, I even added it as a comment in my order to add additional veggies please. But as you can see in the photo's, the side salad and the 1 singular tomato is all the veggies that come with this. Overall, this was a "Meh. I've experienced better". I appreciate that they offer delivery service, but next time i'll drive out to a Kabob place.

Ordered through Uber eats. The chicken kabob was rotten!! You can taste the funk when chewing. I've had plenty of chicken kabob in my life and never have I been so disgusted.

If you are looking for a late night hookah place where you can get great food, come here! They are located right across the street from Greenhouse, which is a great place for dancing on a Friday or Saturday night. I would recommend swinging by before or after! They have great portions with a decent variety. They have indoor and outdoor covered seating. You have to order at the counter then sit down, they will call your order once it's ready. I knocked a star off because of the parking situation and the service. I felt rushed and he was not helpful at all. The parking was a hassle but if you wait you will get a spot. If you are in the area, I suggest giving this place a shot. They have great food for great prices. I loved the ground beef kabob with the rice and chickpeas!

    Chicken Schwarma Sandwich with fries...
    Matthew S.

I was incredibly close to giving this review 3 stars. After a few bites of my lunch, I was almost like ho-hum, the food is okay, nothing too special, chicken is decent and small sandwich, comes with fries and is fairly cheap. And then something incredible happened. Once I took more bites in, and the food started to settle in, the flavors of the chicken schwarma sandwich I ordered started to take on a second gear of incredible flavor! I mean this stuff came on like I wasn't even expecting it. The spices and extra flavor rushed in like I had not felt in a while. Their dipping sauce is decent, not too spicy, but the watered down taste adds texture and flavor to not overwhelm the human taste bud. The fries? Some of the more authentic tasting french fries since my Israel days, and that says a lot. The people behind the counter were a bit cold. But if you approach them with respect, they'll give it back to you in return. That simple, but believe me, so many people don't know how to behave in a restaurant, so maybe I have to rehash this one. Next time I'd love to try a gyro, falafel, or their koobideh. All of it sounds enticing enough to warrant another trip.

Came here for a chicken/lamb kabob take out order: - The bread wasn't that good- tasted like it was packaged. -Lamb was overcooked, chicken was less overcooked. Both were marinaded okay. - Rice tasted overcooked and too fluffy. Didn't seem to be good quality basmati. - Chick Peas tasted sour and watery.. Wouldn't come back here to eat even if they had a Groupon. Would just go to Ravi Kabob's for my kabob fix. Though may come back for their hookah.

Dear Joon Management,…read more My family and I have been regular customers at your restaurant since March because we truly enjoy your excellent Persian food. I have also brought many coworkers and friends to introduce them to your restaurant. Unfortunately, during every visit over the past several months, the rice has been excessively salty. It tastes as though salt was added to the rice rather than the rice being properly seasoned. In May, I brought eight guests, and nearly everyone left their rice untouched. In early July, I returned with four people, and once again no one ate the rice. We mentioned the issue to our waiter, who was very polite and said he would inform the manager and the cook. On the third Wednesday of July, I came with two friends, and once again none of us ate the rice. I spoke with the manager, who was very kind and assured me she would discuss the issue with the cook. Unfortunately, despite reporting the problem more than once, nothing has changed. If this had happened only once, I would not be writing this email. However, after several disappointing visits, I expected that our meals would have been replaced or that we would not have been charged for food that was left uneaten because of the overly salted rice. I respectfully request that you consider providing a refund or another appropriate resolution for our most recent visit. More importantly, I hope this issue is corrected so future customers can fully enjoy your excellent food. If our feedback is important to you, I would appreciate hearing from you. I would also like to share your response with the friends and coworkers I have encouraged to visit your restaurant. My name is David A., and my email address is Shirpelang@gmail.com. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, David A.

I ordered the Chelo kebab kubideh ($20.99). This entree had 2 ground meat skewers, a grilled tomato, raw onion, and rice. The skewers were not simply juicy and well spiced. They redefined how much flavor I could expect out of grilled ground meat, making others taste flat or missing something. The rice portion was absurd. First, I didn't realize it was a sit down and order restaurant, I was used to short order. I was quickly seared and within a couple minutes one server had brought me water as well as fresh tandoori bread and a delicious spicy green sauce to go with it. A second server appeared quickly to take my order. I explained I was used to short order, and all I wanted was their version of chicken and steak (not ground beef.) The waiter explained how he'd do the combo on the menu and off he went. Having looked at the menu, I feared this might be an expensive option, and it was. But a few minutes later I was presented with a platter of delicious looking steak, chicken, rice, onions, tomato, and event a char-roasted jalapeño. It was enough food for my wife and I have had for dinner between us, so the price was well justified. Every thing was delicious. At the end of the meal, I asked if I could order another tandoori bread, and get a small to-go container of the green spicy spread to bring home for wife to try. They brought me both a generous helping of bread and the sauce, and charged me for neither. This service, combined with a delicious meal that, while expensive, will end up being three meals, means this is definitely a spot I plan to go back to as well as recommend.

First of all I need to know what kind of sorcery they are doing to that chicken because how do they get chicken breast THAT tender?? Juicy, flavorful, not dry at all. Seriously so good. The lamb had really good flavor too but mine was a little overcooked and a few pieces took more chewing and determination than I wanted to give them. Brown rice was delicious. Definitely not one of those sad side dishes you ignore. Now the chutney... I like to add a little salt, tear off pieces of the Afghan bread and dip away. So good. Add some sumac if you like a little sour kick and squeeze lemon over the kabobs. I really liked the open grill too. I swear I got put into a little trance watching the fire dance around the meat and hearing the occasional singe as the juices hit the flames. I know. What a geek lol. Chicken and lamb combo was $26 plus tax and a bottle of Coke Zero was $3.99, which apparently is where we are in life now. Almost four dollars for a bottle of Coke Zero. Fine. Take my money. Would have been a solid 5 if the lamb was a little more tender but that chicken? Yeah I'm coming back for you.

This establishment seems to be Egyptian owned, as the walls claim that Egyptians created bread, cupcakes and falafel. The service was fine, though the tables could have been cleaner. I appreciate that they allow you to substitute some of the rice portion for lettuce/spring mix although the spring mix was wet. They also offered both spicy and regular options for rice and chicken. I got spicy rice with spicy chicken, and for my toppings I got Mediterranean salad, hummus, and tzaziki. I didn't realize you could also get white sauce, green sauce, etc, so I probably wouldn't get tzaziki and get olives or something else next time. The chicken and rice combo was a bit overly spicy for me and upset my stomach slightly. I'd probably get regular for both the next time. I also got tiramisu which they recommended over all the other "cupcakes" which they claim (via the wall) is Egyptian. The tiramisu was surprisingly good. There was soft music that seems Arabic-speaking. They have fountain drinks as well as bottled beverages. They also include a service charge - it was like $0.42 for me. I first tried the assorted kebabs. Unfortunately, the chicken had dried out and the kofta felt too crumbly. The lamb rice dish had both aromatic rice and juicy, well seasoned lamb. I ended up combining the lamb pieces with the chicken rice. Out of curiosity, I tried a piece of their fried chicken. It proved juicy and not too oily. It would do well as a standalone appetizer in most restaurants. I also tried something that looked like lasagna, but without tomato. It tasted, to my uncultured palate, like a lasagna with some sort of cream or bechamel-like sauce. I quite enjoyed it. For dessert, my friend convinced me to try what I had initially passed over as oatmeal or tapioca pudding. The Omi Ali proved quite delectable, like a cross between bread pudding and oatmeal but with more nuanced spices and sweetness. I added it to my short list of desserts I enjoy, since I don't have much of a sweet tooth. Overall, I appreciated the breath and variety.
