The best thing about this establishment among their fresh baked breads, pies, etc is the fact that they serve Salaam Cola and do not fund the zionist movement! The food we ordered came out within 20 minutes of ordering. The fresh made bread comes out hot and perfectly done! We ordered egg shaksuka, falafel, plate of pickles, labne, and one cheese manaeesh. They serve breakfast all day and everything is halal. Cannot wait to go back and try their mix grill and lunch items.

Perfect for late night Eats, fresh food with authentic flavors. The lamb is so tender it literally falls off the bone. Service was great! Very friendly staff and we received our food quickly. They have 2 sides, one for just dining and the other side seems to be for food/lounging which stays open alittle later. They also have easy parking and pretty cool decor in the inside.

Very misleading advertising and staff does not fully wear masks. The food does NOT match the appetizing photos featured on the website or the brochures. The pizza is NOT wood-fired. I beamed when I saw a large pile of small wooden logs next to the oven, but to my dismay and disappointment, the staff member simply pressed a button and the oven heated up with propane gas. No logs in the oven. I felt bamboozled. Red Flag #1 While waiting for the pizza, I noticed several staff members partially wearing masks to cover their mouth but not their noses. A couple of members didn't even wear masks working in the kitchen. Red Flag #2 Hubby ordered a Neapolitan Margherita Pizza and received a cheese pizza with no basil and shredded mozzarella cheese. Not at all like the scrumptious Margherita Pizza with fresh cheese and basil advertised online. The cheap tasteless pizza was a total let down. Reg Flag #3 The Spinach Pide was the highlight of the meal with diced onions and spinach with lots of bold spices and smothered in cheese. Very authentic and did match the menu description. Not all the items are made fresh to order. The falafels are frozen and the mini pizzas and savory pastries look stale sitting in the glass display case. The staff is a bit stand-off and the hours should be clearly posted on the website particularly during Ramadan. Before I left yesterday, I checked on Google and confirmed that the restaurant was still open around 8pm. However when I got there, the staff snickered and apathetically informed me the restaurant closed a 1/2 hour ago for the Ramadan buffet next door at Sir sandwich shop (which was packed!). I left disappointed and after giving them another shot the next day, the "Margherita" pizza left much to be desired. While the Spinach Pides are tasty, I feel shafted by the misleading advertising and lack of Covid precautions. Won't be coming back!

Fresh and good Middle East food. And they are consisting in the flavor and taste since we have been there several times ordered the same thing. Tabbouleh salad, foul medames baba Ghanousj and hummus and shawarma with pita bread. Just the fresh pita bread with hummus is worth the visit alone. The portion should be bigger in my opinion, hence not full score

The food wasn't tasty like some other places that we have been too.We ordered lamb chops and chicken kabab. Both of them had absolutely no Flavor. The food was really over priced. The best part of this restaurant was the service the way it looked i thought it was a nice set up.

Instead of bowl. It became rectangular. I would not want to spend 25 dollars on this.

I can't comment much about the food and service here, as I ordered through door dash. Though food wise I was disappointed. I ordered the schwarma platter, which was ok, but the meat was definitely dry and lacked flavor. I also tried my friends Pide and Schwarma wrap and their food was also dry and lacked flavor. I had to add extra seasoning like Sumac, salt, pepper, and hot sauce. Overall, the food did not turn out well for delivery, but I hear the place is better to visit in person, but I wouldn't try again.

PLEASE REFER TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW! IT'S A GREAT PLACE AND YOU GUYS ALL SHOULD TRY IT! I'M MAD THEY TOOK MY FAVORITE ITEM OUT OF THE MENU AND NO PIZZA AFTER 7 PM!!! I NEED A CALL FROM THE MANAGEMENT PLEASE ! so here I am at the best Lebanese fast food I've ever been to in America, nice clean restaurant in Tysons corner , amazing prices and great menu BUT there is no PIZZA after 7 PM??? Why??? I'm so SAD !! I got 3 of my friends to try that place convincing them that it's the best Pizza they will ever taste! (I TRIED IT BEFORE AND I THINK IT IS!!) and We got shocked that the lady working over there says no pizza!! Pizza!! The most famous late night food!! And no more delicious LAMB?? why??? I loved their Grilled lamb!! Please fix all of that and come back to be my favorite Lebanese restaurant!! Sad ! Sad ! Really Sad!

Chicken "shawarma" sandwich. No resemblance to the real thing or to what it used to be.

Very disappointed with the new style of the shawarma sandwiches. The Block now uses a hoagie style roll instead of Lebanese bread. Also, the sandwich was served without French fries--this is another change. Please revert back to using the Lebanese bread for a shawarma sandwich. Otherwise don't call it a shawarma sandwich. ADDENDUM: The owner kindly let me know that they would revert to using Lebanese bread. That would be great, because the sandwiches were excellent.

And, this place is grimy - not clean feeling at all. Walking up to the food counter you'll see food bits and sauce spatters here and there and the overall aesthetic is NOT good. Just gross. To make things worse, the "twisties" in my tummy began about 20 minutes after eating an entire combo plate (chicken + gyro) with rice and salad ($12). My lunch buddy got the falafel plate ($12) and said the falafel was mushy and weird, as if it were microwaved - BECAUSE IT WAS! (Is this a Lebanese prison kitchen? WTH?!) What are you doing here? Go to Blazin Chicken & Gyro down the street instead. No question.

DCG is my top place for chicken over rice and there are quietly a few in the DMV. However, DCG has so much flavor in their chicken and their rice is also extra fluffy. Service is top notch and the ambiance of this place reminds me of school life. 4.4/5 must try!

It's an upscale environment and for lunch there were a lot of corporate-looking diners. It's a pleasant atmosphere and the staff carefully seats you tables apart so you're not all crowded and it's not too loud. Excellent. We weren't particularly hungry so we asked share a full menu item and then ordered a salad to share. The prefix comes with either a salad or a dip(?) and we opted for the dip. The kubideh kebab was tasty. It was juicy and fresh. The rice was good. The salad was questionable. We didn't really like it but we didn't hate it. I wondered if it was just the vinegar or maybe mustard that was hitting too strong. My friend thought maybe it was stale like they'd pickled it too long. Not sure what it was but we couldn't finish it. When we had eaten about 60% the server came by and offered us pita bread. It would've been nice to have it from the beginning... Overall I would return to try their other foods.

Plump, tender shrimp swimming in a velvety tomato-cream sauce with real backbone -- that warm, layered heat that builds slow and lingers just long enough to make you reach for more. We ordered it medium and it hit that perfect sweet spot where flavor and fire are in balance. The garlic naan was the ideal partner -- pillowy, blistered, and dripping with garlic, perfect for mopping up every last drop of that sauce (and trust me, you'll want to). The Chicken Hakka Noodles brought a totally different energy: smoky wok-tossed heat, springy noodles, and that savory Indo-Chinese punch with just enough chili to keep things interesting. Everything arrived hot, sealed tight, and right on time -- no leaks, no sad soggy containers, nothing lost in transit. This establishment seems to be Egyptian owned, as the walls claim that Egyptians created bread, cupcakes and falafel. The service was fine, though the tables could have been cleaner. I appreciate that they allow you to substitute some of the rice portion for lettuce/spring mix although the spring mix was wet. They also offered both spicy and regular options for rice and chicken. I got spicy rice with spicy chicken, and for my toppings I got Mediterranean salad, hummus, and tzaziki. I didn't realize you could also get white sauce, green sauce, etc, so I probably wouldn't get tzaziki and get olives or something else next time. The chicken and rice combo was a bit overly spicy for me and upset my stomach slightly. I'd probably get regular for both the next time. I also got tiramisu which they recommended over all the other "cupcakes" which they claim (via the wall) is Egyptian. The tiramisu was surprisingly good. There was soft music that seems Arabic-speaking. They have fountain drinks as well as bottled beverages. They also include a service charge - it was like $0.42 for me.
