We live in the land of Amish BBQ chicken, meaning; there are ample options in finding delicious chicken. Frisco's serves up moist, tender, hot chicken, with flavorful skin, but so does the Amish, who also brine their meat. My side salad, though the bitter, leafy green was fresh, it sat in a small heap, weighed down by a side of precooked from frozen, corn, feta crumbles and mushy, tiny bits of tomato. Frisco's signature cilantro sauce, barely hinted at the herbaceousness of cilantro and I could not discern any garlic. Lastly, everyone's food was served on a metal cookie sheet, with paper underneath. Fortunately, my husband's sandwich was wrapped, so he used that paper to eat off of. I dunno, maybe I'm just being picky for expecting to eat on a paper plate.

I've had Peruvian rotisserie chicken before and this is one of the best. Definitely more mild. Their cilantro aïoli is probably the most mild sauce I've ever had a chicken is very flavorful and succulent. Plantains are sweet and not over fried brussels sprouts or cooked to perfection slightly sweet, service was very good as well. very attentive they also have a self serve kiosk where you can just order your food. It was out no less than five minutes. That's the thing about these type places. The rotisserie chicken is already cooked. Came out hot and ready. The game changer is the purple drink. I can't pronounce the name. It's a Peruvian delicacy made with blue corn. It is fantastic overall five out of five get your butt in here. I almost forgot about the fried rice very special side. You should always have it with whatever you get.

I love empanada's. It was good and the cilantro sauce really made it good. I somehow missed getting a pic. My dinner was the lomo bowl. The steak in the bowl was nice and tender. I gave my tomatoes to my husband though. My husband ordered the 1/2 chicken with mac and cheese and corn. They were out of corn. He was happy with his chicken thought it was a good size and tasted good. Since we dont have a Frisco's in CT Im happy we got the chance to try it in PA.

If your looking for fast healthy home cooked food, try Frisco's Chicken. They have a location at Willow Street Pa and in Liditz, Pa. Nothing fancy but the food is delicious. We had their rotisserie Peruvian chicken. Crispy, juicy and so, so flavorful. The Mac and Cheese is creamy deliciousness. We also tried their fried plantains and Peruvian fried rice. The fried rice was good; the plantains were perfectly cooked. They have three of for side sauces for the meal. Try them all. If your craving something a bit different, don't want to wait to be seated, want service with a smile and food that's delicious and perfectly cooked; try Frisco's. This is not a fancy place to eat. Once you taste the food it won't matter. A great restaurant; an even greater story.

We stopped by this Peruvian chicken place while visiting the Lancaster outlets. It's about 8 minute drive from the outlets, located in a quaint neighborhood. There is a small customer only parking lot on the side of the building. Food orders are placed via self served kiosk stations. I ordered the half chicken with 2 sides meal. It comes with 2 sauces. The chicken was tasty and moist. But like most rotisserie chicken places, the sides are the star of the show. The grilled brussel sprouts and fried plantains were amazing. I want to try the chicken fried rice and fried yucca on my next visit.

Very simple to get to and quite a decent amount of parking. I went on a Saturday Afternoon and it wasn't too busy at all, but it should be with how amazing the food is! Vibes were pretty dope. Lots of outdoor seating and some music playing. Ordered the Pernil Arepa, Chicken Rice Bowl, and Pulled Pork Rice Bowl. If you're afraid of flavor, this is not for you, because the flavors were amazing! And you can customize your bowls with add one to your liking such as roasted corn, avocado, cheese, plantains and more! Loved it and will definitely make it part of my itinerary whenever I'm in the area.

The food is a delicious mix of Peruvian and Venezuelan flavors, and you can really taste the freshness and quality in every bite. Their arepas are crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with flavorful fillings. Everything felt comforting yet unique at the same time. One thing I really appreciated is that the entire menu is 100% gluten free, but honestly, you wouldn' even notice because the food is just that good. Also, don't be deceived if the food doesn't look super "picture perfect" online or in photos (or at least my photos lol). It may not be the most photogenic food, but it's sooo worth it! I actually ordered almost everything on the menu because I had no idea when I'd be back in Lancaster again . My favorite was the fried rice with chicken and plantains, so flavorful and satisfying! My husband's favorite was the Lomo Saltado Bowl and Pernil Arepa. We also loved the yuca fries, which were perfectly crispy without being overly greasy. The only thing that disappointed me a little was the Esquites. It just didn't stand out and probably wouldn't order it again. Parking is limited and there's outdoor seating only.

I wanna start by saying I did NOT get food poisoning...but if I did get food poisoning from this…read morerestaurants food I would still come back for more. I have genuinely never had a better experience at any food establishment than I did at Rocoto. My husband and I ordered the chicken and beef empanadas to start and the smell of the crust alone was enough to brighten our day but the whole of it altogether was an ethereal experience. Perfect combination of a delicious crunchy, flaky crust with a beautiful combination of flavors waiting inside. We would have been delighted to leave it at the empenadas, that alone would have been enough for a 5 (10 if I could) star review but we also ordered the birria tacos and the beef bistec a lo pobre which easily brings us up to a 30 star review. The tacos has a perfect balance of Oaxaca cheese and tender meat with a beautiful flavor and plenty of onion and cilantro and the perfect dipping broth to kick the flavor to the best birria tacos I've ever had. And the bistec a lo pobre with a side of fried plantains? Quoted directly from my husband, "I've never seen you have a slow blink because you've like a food this much." The plantains had such a beautiful flavor (that's the 3rd and probably not the last use of the word beautiful I've used in this review), the meat in and of itself was perfectly cooked and beautifully (see?) flavorful. I could have eaten that all alone but a big bite with the egg, plantains, meat and rice (which again, somehow could have been a perfect meal all on it's own. I can't imagine how someone makes rice taste soooo good but they've done it) was almost an exact reenactment of the scene from Rattatouille when he eats that piece of cheese with a strawberry and the scene shows fireworks and swirls as he discovered a newfound love of the new flavor combo. It almost feels like I've never had food before today it's thay good. You will almost never catch me wanting dessert at a restaurant but after what had been the best eating experience we've ever had we decided we had to stay a little bit longer, have some delicious chocolate cake and fried ice cream while we waited for our to-go order of empanadas to take home to enjoy later. The server was a very attentive lovely young woman who we sent to send our compliments to the owner (something we've never done) who was so kind to come over and chat with us for a minute. The restaurant was very calm, quiet and clean which is very refreshing for two people who are very tired of glaringly loud restaurants. The only noise we could hear between the two of us was laughter, joy and excitement over how good this food was. If you know the Lord you'll feel how blessed this food is....we walked into this restaurant after a deep heartfelt conversation about the sad things in our lives, shedding tears right outside in the car. From the moment we stepped in all the way up to writing this review 2 hours later we've experienced a joy like no other meal has ever brought us before. We can not wait to go back and bring everyone we know with us for as long as they'll let us in the building. If you've been thinking about trying this place out I say RUN, GO NOW! You do not know what you're missing.

Ordering: There is a Dr. Pepper drawing on the menu but when I asked for that specific drink, the server let me know they do not serve Dr. Pepper. We chose "1/2 a chicken" as our entree but we were told it's only served on Friday's and Saturday's--we went on a Wednesday. Nothing on the menu said anything regarding that. Was a bit disappointing to get told the two things I wanted from their own menu are not being served. Additionally, weirdly, we had to pay before we got our food right after we ordered so it was not the best when it comes to knowing what type of tip to leave. We ended up buying an extra drink after we ate to leave the waiter a tip. Food: We ended up getting Anticucho de Carne in place of the chicken they don't serve daily. We had Roasted Chicken Empanadas as well as Beef and Cheese, they were delicious--especially the roasted chicken one with peppers and onions. The beef and cheese filling was very mild tasting, most of the flavor came from the outer part. The Lomo saltado was very clean tasting and enjoyable. Lastly, we got fried ice cream with honey which was a 10/10! Ambience: The dining area was super clean. There was no music. The seats are pretty close to each other, initially we were the only ones there but about 5 more parties came in and it was pretty tight but not uncomfortable at all. You get to see the bustling around the kitchen and front serving area, however, there is a wall that semi-separates the sitting area from the pick up counter adjacent to the serving area so you get to skip out on the in and out.
