Delicious chicken and sides, fairly inexpensive, large portions, easy counter service ordering, ample seating and TVs. Makes me wish there was a Friscos in Rhode Island!! We stopped in on our way home from the Lancaster downtown and we were in search of something that wasn't greasy pub food. Friscos more than delivered on that request. It was a bonus that they had TVs and the World Cup playing. If being critical, the white meat was a little chewy and dry but the charcoal flavor was there. I'm guessing they're being careful about foodborne illness and cooking to higher temps. Using some of the 3 sauces was a a must. The leg, however, was to die for even without sauce. Juicy and fell right off the bone. The rice (chaufa) was cooked well and flavor was not overtly soy sauce thankfully. Green beans were crispy and fresh. Hit or miss lately on preparation. Still, solid rotisserie. Cant go wrong with their chicken. Empanadas aren't always the same- lomo for example was chopped chunks of steak and last time I ordered it was shredded and bbq like. Not what I expected or was used to. It didn't taste good. I order lomo salteado and last time the rice was cold. So keep an open mind when you come here. The food is fundamentally very tasty. We live in the land of Amish BBQ chicken, meaning; there are ample options in finding delicious chicken. Frisco's serves up moist, tender, hot chicken, with flavorful skin, but so does the Amish, who also brine their meat. My side salad, though the bitter, leafy green was fresh, it sat in a small heap, weighed down by a side of precooked from frozen, corn, feta crumbles and mushy, tiny bits of tomato. Frisco's signature cilantro sauce, barely hinted at the herbaceousness of cilantro and I could not discern any garlic. Lastly, everyone's food was served on a metal cookie sheet, with paper underneath. Fortunately, my husband's sandwich was wrapped, so he used that paper to eat off of. AMAZING!!!!! We ordered catering for lunch and they showed up early, set up, communicated well. We ordered 20 bowls+empanadas and had soooo much food. Nobody left hungry. They are super easy to work with and provide what you need. They have food for everyone. They did forget something from my order and immediately let me know and offered a refund. Their cilantro aïoli is probably the most mild sauce I've ever had a chicken is very flavorful and succulent. Plantains are sweet and not over fried brussels sprouts or cooked to perfection slightly sweet, service was very good as well. very attentive they also have a self serve kiosk where you can just order your food. It was out no less than five minutes. That's the thing about these type places. The rotisserie chicken is already cooked. Came out hot and ready. The game changer is the purple drink. I love empanada's. It was good and the cilantro sauce really made it good. I somehow missed getting a pic. My dinner was the lomo bowl. The steak in the bowl was nice and tender. I gave my tomatoes to my husband though. My husband ordered the 1/2 chicken with mac and cheese and corn. They were out of corn. I ordered 2 chicken sandwiches with a side of fries. I had to repeat my order multiple times and they couldn't understand me and then when I finally got my food I only got one chicken sandwich and fries. I paid the full price for both the sandwich's and fries and they scammed me. When I tried to talk to them they didn't understand what I was trying to tell them in English and I couldn't get a refund. There is a small customer only parking lot on the side of the building. Food orders are placed via self served kiosk stations. I ordered the half chicken with 2 sides meal. It comes with 2 sauces. I have been hearing from friends about Frisco's for, like, a year. I have wanted to stop forever, but never seemed to make it, and also wanted to go and sit, as opposed to getting take out. OH. MAH. GAWD. I wish I had gotten there sooner. We ended up there close to closing on the Saturday after St. Paddy's Day. It took a minute to figure out ordering from the kiosk. I can say with great certainty that we WAAAAYYYYY over-ordered. The portions are big. BEEEEG. That said- the chicken was moist, flavorful and delectable. SO JUICY. I had the Brussels sprouts and loved them. They were very close to the way I make them myself, at home. The chicken fried rice was good but not super exciting. The plantains were great. So were the fries and the mac and cheese. I wish we had tried the yuca fries. We tried all three sauces. Since I am a wimp in terms of spicy food, my favorite was the cilantro sauce and I dipped everything in it. Hubs liked the aji. We tried both desserts and they were delicious.
